1  Bitcoin / Armory / Armory closing at 99% scanning transaction history on: February 09, 2014, 06:42:33 PM
Hey guys,

I'm having an issue I was hoping someone could help with.

For some reason... today when I try to load Armory it hits 99% scanning transaction history and then crashes.
I've tried about 10 times now and realize that I need some extra help.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / SCAMMED 1.5 BTC by Otakusama - Found on: February 06, 2014, 04:43:50 AM
There was a alt coin developer advertising in services sub forum that he was creating alt coin and had various packages. I paid him 1.5 btc to create a coin for me and after 3 weeks and no coin he decided tonight to cut contact with me and delete all of his forum posts.

I know from speaking with him that he has pending coin deals with other people and other works in progress.

Do not pay Otakusama or send him any money, he will rip you off. Be very wary of new coin developers offering services as well because he will be coming back as another username to pull this scam again.

Check his username, you can see he has deleted all of his posts on the forum.

I feel terrible to of been scammed and hope others can avoid this idiot as well.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Possible to add extra anonymity to LTC model? on: December 12, 2013, 11:37:40 PM
Hi folks,
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to take Litecoins model but add an extra layer of anonymity, in a way that would be accepted by the crypto community?

And I don't mean to adjust LTC in any way.

I'm just wondering what features future currencies might use.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How long until BTC gambling sites are shut down? on: December 10, 2013, 04:36:22 PM
Hey folks,

As we can all see, the BTC gambling sector seems to be doing quite well. For the time being we seem to be operating within a grey zone as crypto currencies are yet to be categorized in the same way as cash.

How long do you think it will be before crypto gambling sites are forced to operate through the same restrictions?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Amazon Cloud Mining on: December 08, 2013, 08:35:52 PM
I was wondering about the communities opinion with regards to cloud mining.

Is this something that could prove profitable under the right circumstances?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How would you setup your perfect currency? And why? on: December 06, 2013, 03:25:02 PM
Hello all,

I had a question for the community and am looking forward to hearing other peoples point of view.

The questions is:

If you were to create your own "perfect" digital currency, what specifications would you decide on and why?

By specifications I am referring to total coins, starting coins per block, half rates etc.

Looking forward to hearing the different schools of thought on this.

Cheers
