Hi all, I recently started dual mining on my personal rig. My setup is: ASUS Z170I PRO GAMING I5 6600K 16GB DDR4 2133 CL13 950 PRO M.2 256GB CORSAIR AX860i 80+ Platinum ASUS STRIX RX480 OC 8GB So I have been able to run dual mining and overclock using GPU Tweak from ASUS (not sure is the best option, always preferred to input overclock values on .bat file). My speeds are not very high for what is expected, so I would like to see if someone can help with config to achieve optimal hashrate. The card should be able to get above 30MH.      |

Hello friends,
Before stating my problem I encourage mods to move the topic if this is not where it belongs.
I never had any problems with the Litecoin and Dogecoin wallets, fast loading and boot, and it used to sync beautifully.
Earlier in August I started to have problems syncing, both wallets get connections, but they never start syncing, and all I get after waiting for hours is the "No block source available" message.
I am on Mac, using the latest version of both wallets. Recently I had the same issue with the Bitcoin wallet for Mac, and I had to reinstall the wallet after wiping up any file leftovers to make sure, and for now its working and syncing all good.
I decided to reinstall the Doge and Lite wallets to let them sync freshly, but now after loading almost every Dogecoin block I keep on getting the message of "No block source available" again, it also happens with the LTC one. I am a bit tired and don't know what to do besides changing the wallets to a different SO, but I don't really want to do that.
I am on a 2010 Macbook Pro with a Samsung EVO SSD, 8GB DDR3 and a dual core processor. My internet connection works flawlessly as well. My SO (Yosemite) is fully updated and patched.
I hope someone can give me an insight on this weird problem I would be very grateful.

The best frequency Ive been able to find is 815, but Ive been using the stock software since I bought them on zoomhash late September 2014. Each unit comes with the chip boards, a Seasonic 850w 80+G PSU, and a Raspberry Pi for controlling the boards. Setup is completely plug and play, just plug the power and ethernet cables, and plug the usb from the boards to the pi. Then power up, acces the IP of the pi from any browser, and input pool details. The miners may work better with a minera sort of system but stock software its easy to use! Although not very customizable! They have been delivering between 23 and 28 MH, for a 25MH media @~500w, very efficient and so stable its a delight! So I do not open this thread to talk about the profitability of gpu mining, I just want to compare and try to improve settings for mining neoscrypt coins (feathercoins) So far this is what ive been able to get on a R9 280X VaporX TriX  Im on Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and using Catalyst 14.4, a FX6300 and 16GB ram. Im pretty sure I should be able to squeeze some extra hashes, considering in the beginning people was getting no more than 100kh per one of this cards, and I was able to get almost 275 without playing a lot! Hola a todos, Abro el thread para compartir una experiencia reciente y también para tener opiniones acerca de este tema del resto de foreros y/o experiencias similares. Bien al tema, solía usar Justcoin como exchange porque con la entrada en vigor de SEPA sale muy bien hacer las transferencias desde algunos bancos, ya que la cuenta en cuestión estaba en Noruega. Como muchos sabréis Justcoin ha cerrado operaciones porque los bancos en Noruega se han declarado en contra de Bitcoin. Bien, buscando alternativas he encontrado PAYMIUM, COINBASE y KRAKEN; me verifiqué en Kraken (muy rápido el proceso) e intenté emitir una transferencia desde mi cuenta de "LA CAIXA" a la cuenta en cuestión de Kraken, y para mi sorpresa no me deja hacer la transferencia. Al ser fin de semana pensé que podía ser un fallo en su sistema (ya podían aprender de otras empresas e implementar un buen sistema de IT), pero poco más tarde recibo una llamada de La Caixa, y el agente me pregunta si he intentado hacer una transferencia a un banco, pero sin revelar datos de la misma, y en ningún momento mencionar Bitcoin o el motivo de la transferencia, solamente me dijo que no podía hacer transferencias a ESA cuenta, pero que con cualquier otra funcionaría, por lo que sobreentiendo que tienen esa cuenta vigilada por algún tema en cuestión (y no sé si tomármelo como que me dejo caer que tienen estudiados los demás exchanges y sí puedo ingresar en esas cuentas). El banco con el que opera Kraken es FidorBank, un banco online alemán con el que recientemente se ha juntado para formar el primer "banco de criptomonedas". Dicho esto, justo después me verifiqué en Coinbase (han abierto la beta en € con límites máximos de 15,000€ por transferencia (con la verificación que he tramitado en principio me aparecen límites diarios de 2,000€ tanto para retirar como para depositar. Intento esta vez hacer la transferencia al banco con el que opera mi nueva elección (un banco estoniano, no sé si me suena que sea el mismo con el que opera Bitstamp, de hecho me pareció irónico realizar la transferencia dado que no he elegido Bitstamp porque sus cuentas estaban en Estonia). Yyyyyy  Transferencia realizada con éxito (eran 250€, por si a alguien le puede interesar; casi 1btc  ) Por tanto después de compartir la experiencia espero que compartáis las vueltras y me déis vuestros "thoughts" acerca de esta situación, o por qué en mi banco no me dejan hacer transferencias a Kraken!
