1  Economy / Speculation / I pussied out on: January 05, 2012, 05:16:18 AM
Got scared and sold at 5.8ish, have I made a mistake? in any case I've profited for the day, and I need to sleep now (If possible I never sleep with BTC in my pocket, I could wake up with dirt for money)

Long time since i've seen 5am sober. zzzzzz
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Mt Gox trading fees based on trading volume over the past 30 days? on: August 19, 2011, 06:17:33 PM
From my Mt Gox Trade Page:
Quote
Your trading volume for the past 30 days is X BTC. If it reaches Y BTC, your trading fee will be Z %.

Was there an announcement about this that I missed?

I'd like to know what rates will be applied for what trading volumes.

Thanks
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Withdrawal via International Transfer on Tradehill on: July 01, 2011, 10:37:45 PM

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT DEPENDING ON YOUR BANK THIS WIRE WILL GO THROUGH INTERMEDIARY BANKS WHO WILL ALSO CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL FEE

How do i find out if intermediary banks will be used and if additional fees will be charged? Will my bank know?

Is there any upper limit to these transfers? specifically with regard to withdrawals.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Poll - Mt. Gox Rollback - We Finally see our Accounts on: June 25, 2011, 05:15:46 AM
Now, I am quite interested to see what kindof breakdown we will have.

I imagine that the vast vast majority have lost nothing whatsoever. And if this poll shows that fact alone then fantastic.
Since its a rollback even if any hacker made off with some money we will all be going back to a balance before the incident, am I Right? So any loss incurred will be borne by MtGox.

I'm just hoping this willl give us all a sense of how people have been affected thus far, and again hopefully show a positive result.

You can change your response based on the outcome of the appeal process if you've not yet Finished your claim.

EDIT: If you haven't checked your balances and log already, heres the link https://claim.mtgox.com/status.html thanks for reminding me zhalox!

Peace Out
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Mt. Gox Rollback Due to a compromised Account on: June 19, 2011, 07:13:56 PM
https://support.mtgox.com/entries/20208066-huge-bitcoin-sell-off-due-to-a-compromised-account-rollback

Nice to see that it was caught and sorted quite fast.

So im taken to believe here that this was all caused by an account being compromised and completely not the fault of mt. gox in any way?

If any blame can be put on mtgox here im going to be taking my business to tradehill. This is completely ridiculous.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Mt Gox Euro Transfer Message Changed? on: June 09, 2011, 07:45:42 PM
My Message for Mt Gox Euro transfers seem to have changed; The add funds page is showing me a message the same as my old one but with a hash "#" symbol in front and a letter appended to the end. It looks more like some kindof database glitch than anything else, also it wont even let make the transfer with the hash symbol in the message anyway. Anybody else seeing this?
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Why does the price of BTC rise so rapidly at this time of day (Mt Gox)? on: June 07, 2011, 11:00:15 PM
Im not paying super close attention, but I think its been around this time of day that the last 3 or 4 major value increaces have occurred. This is 11pm - 3am GMT (my time) or Evening time in America; Is this a massive influx of American demand as they with deep pockets come home from work to do a little trading?
