Hello all,
I want to work with others to collect some content, so I look for a free Wiki hosting service. I don#t want to install a Wiki myself, I just look for a ready-to-go solution for free.
Anyone has an idea if something like this exists and if yes: where?

Hi all,
I want to hand out BTCs to my kids. So my question is: what is the best way to do it?
I need a software where I can easily switch between different wallets. The wallets need to be accessable on minimum two different PCs. OS is Windows 8.x I would prefer not to use Java (due to several reasons, not to be discussed here plz). I can (but would prefer not to) use different Windows logins/accounts on both machines.
Any suggestions how to do it the easiest way?

Hi all,
I am a little confused: I sent a transaction today and added 0.0003 BTC as suggested by the BTC Core client. After 2.5 hours, I still see only 2 out of 6 confirmations... I this normal these days?

Hi all,
the clevermining-pool claims, that you get 0,01xxx BTC per day per MHash. I don't know, if this number is correct ot not. However: I am missing a transparency like this on other pools.
So my question is not "what is the best pool", but:
Is there a way to find out, except for mining on the pool for [ x ] days and compare it then? Are there more pools with high transparency (e.g. hashbros is very transparent )?

Danke Smo

Is it possible to run a mining rig on Windows 7, that I can administrate completely with TeamViewer?
Especially after rebooting?

Hi all,
I would like to create my first mining rig and, after I found so many ppl having issues with more than 3 cards, i would like to ask for some help:
Planned hardware: Graphic card: 3x SAPPHIRE R9 280X 3GB GDDR5, when everything works fine, a 4th Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme4 (but it has only 3x PCI slots, so which board can handle 4 cards?)
Questions: 1) I plan to run this via WLAN, using Teamviewer. Do you see any issues with that? 2) What motherboard should I use? I didn't find one with 4x PCIe slots. 3) The card's spec are different on several sites, ranging from 250 to 750 Watts? 4) What power unit should I use, depending on the outcome above (3 or 4 cards)? 5) Can Windows 7 handle 4 graphic cards? 6) When running Windows 7, do I need to have dummy plugs for the cards?
Any help is appreciated, thanks for your time!

I was afk for a little more than a week.
Now I wonder, if there's a blog (or better several ones), where I can see what happens ? Any important news that affect e.g. the value of BTC or AltCoins, or which exchange did what in the past week and such?

Hi all,
how do you guys decide, which coins you mine or where you invest in (long-term)?`
You can't check, what makes a lot noise in this board alone, so what other resources do you use? Or what indicators do you think help? E.G. I can check Google Trends, but that works only, if a coin is already pretty big (like DOGE in a short time).
But what other factors can I take in my sight? For example I check the description and think about "will someone else be impressed by this text". I believe, if the coin has nothing in the description that makes a difference plus it's not unique in it's writing/story telling, then I personally believe, it will not work.
But what you guys think? Are USPs important or is it more important that the technique behind is better than BTC? If so, what are the indicators? What other things do you think will decide about a win or loss for a coin?

Hi all, I run some Windows 8 and 7 machines where I want to run some mining software. I want to test several pools and several coins. My questions: I don't understand why i get some results on some settings and sometimes it doesn't work: Example that's not running: the pool site says: If you use a command-line miner, type: ./cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://doge.cryptovalley.com:3333 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password
I try to run cgminer-3.8.4-windows with cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://doge.cryptovalley.com:3333 -u MyNick.1 -p MyWorkerPW
miner stops because it doesn't understand "--scrypt" With old mining software, I got it running: CGMiner 2.10.4 cgminer -o stratum+tcp://nl1.ghash.io:3334 -u MyNick.1 -p MyWorkerPW I have access to Windows 7 and 8 machines, i5 CPUs, NVidia graphic cards (yes, i know they are slower than AMD), but I will not buy hardware before I understand how to get it running. Anyone can help me understand what miner software I should use?

A ton of cryptocoins are coming out each week, so if I am not a programmer:
How can i foind out, if a coin/wallet-software will not harm my PC/me?
For example: I just downloaded the Doge-software. My Windows 8 tells me not to run it, it "seems to be dangerous". If it would be a risk, i assume, I would read it in the Doge-topic?
It's just an example, so please don't focus on the DOGe thing, I would like to get a general advice, where to find data about trusted or dangerous wallet software.
Thanks a lot Smo
