1  Bitcoin / Hardware / antminer s1 - possible to connect another non-wifi device to its network port? on: May 11, 2014, 09:36:52 PM
i was wondering, assuming an S1 is using wi-fi, could another device
be connected to the wired network port and share the s1 wi-fi connection?

ie: a non-wifi networking device?

hopefully the antminer s1 software is just a linux or bsd variant and that it
supports iptables. and possibly simply a case of setting up firewall forwarding
rules via iptables Huh

anyone actually done anything like this?

2  Other / Beginners & Help / newbies *have* to post here first? on: December 28, 2013, 09:43:39 AM
am i suppose to create fake nonsense posts in the newbies forum before i'll *ever* be able
to post in other forums?
some pools, such as [Suspicious link removed] use bitcointalk.org as their essentially official way of communicating
but i'm unable to communicate with them until i post drivel here first???
i've been registered since dec.4
