[Is this a BIOS issue?]

Ok this may be a LONG one. Pretty well, my system crashes no matter what. It will run, it will hash, it will crash for no apparent reason.

My system(s):

Win7 64
750W PSU
AMD Phenom II 3.2Ghz
4GB DDR3
4 Hard drives (who really cares right?)
asus AM3 mobo with 2x pci-e
two monitors

I don't really know where to start writing...I have tried so much.

I have tried drivers 11.4, 11.5, each with sdk 2.1 and sdk 2.4.

I have two 6780's in crossfire. (from what I read, the 6870 does not have the video crash issue of the 6990 or the crossfire issue of the 5 series.)

The computer will hang at random. Both cores are 915 Mhz, stock. Memory is 1050Mhz, stock.
I have tried different work sizes, different frame values....didnt try vectors off, but i have not seen a case where this was an issue with the 6870. The only thing that made it more stable was increasing the frames value from 1 to 60. With a frames values of 1, the computer hangs almost instantly, or when something is moved from one monitor to another, and with it at 60 it seems more stable, but eventually crashes. The computer will crash if the monitors shut off automatically via the power saving settings. It will crash when the screens are made to be left on.

To top it all off, I have run my old geforce 260gtx and it lasts a lot longer (maybe 10 hours as opposed to 30 minutes - 2 hours) but it STILL crashes.

WHAT GIVES? I will answer any and all questions to clarify what i've wrote and donate the piddly two bitcoins ive mined so far if you can come up with a solution!

The kicker? I'm away from my computer for the next week, so I won't get to try shit until I get back.
Is this a BIOS issue?
