1  Economy / Trading Discussion / BTC are getting dumped, is this repeat of 2013 pump and dump? on: January 04, 2018, 09:53:00 AM

Looking at the volume and what just happened to Bitcoin in last month, its obvious that this is the biggest Pump and Dump since 2013, dumping is happening now but they try to control it until they dump their huge bags.
Little guys and new comers with up to 5 coins is the ones that will loose and pay the price.

I've been in the game 5 years now and i can smell it, i'm not saying sell your coins, all i say is don't buy as we are experiencing mother of all dumps since the introduction of Bitcoin.
If you don't believe me just look at the graphs and read the posts from 2013, these posts are repeating now with the guys saying it will sky rocket and deep inside they know that its wishful thinking.

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Australian TAX and BTC on: September 02, 2014, 02:11:42 PM

Most countries including Australia recognises BTC as an investment and will make me pay tax on all income, however my question is, will they accept my losses if i dont make money with BTC?
For ex. by selling cars i made a profit of 100k, now i invest this money in BTC and i loose the BTCs by trading on exchange with ALT coins, will AU TAX accept this excuse for not paying tax on original income?

How do i prove this to the accountant that i lost that money? And will they accept that as a loss?

Hi There,
Just wondering when you create a new BTC address via Bitcoin QT or some online website, can anyone see where that address was created, and where the coins are stored?

For ex.
If i send coins from gox address to bitstamp, can anyone find out that the funds have gone between these two sites? Address yes you can see that, but not sure about sites.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / is it better to mine or just buy LTC? on: December 06, 2013, 11:41:23 AM

Hi There,

I would like to buy around 150 LTC, and not sure if its better to buy some mining rig and mine for the same amount, or just buy them?

How long will it take to mine LTC and what hardware to buy to mine at least 2-3 LTC a day?

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Can i sell bitcoin or other curencies well over the price? on: December 06, 2013, 06:52:53 AM

Just wondering if its possible to place sell order on popular exchanges well over the average price? Do they allow this to happen?
Lets say average BTC/USD is $1200 and i put them for sale for $1500/BTC

I've seen this on localbitcoins.com but i dont know about the exhanges.

Yes most of you will ask why on earth would i do this, and i say why not if someone is willing to buy.
