1  Economy / Trading Discussion / New Arbitrage Strategy on: June 30, 2011, 10:25:57 PM
The play is between Bitcoin7 and TradeHill or MTGox. Bitcoin7 volume is low which means you can not buy cheap BTCs all at one time. So, the new strategy is to accumulate BTCs from Bitcoin7 over a few days between 14.5 and 15. Now follow the procedures below.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BitCoins: Four Objections on: June 07, 2011, 12:40:35 AM
Objection: My refutation was circular or my refutation was just an assertion that BitCoins are worthless.
Objection: Some people do accept BitCoins, so they can’t be a poor currency.
Objection: Subjective value theory means that value only exists in the minds of people, therefore there is no reason BitCoins couldn’t be as valuable as gold or any other commodity.
Objection: Fiat currencies, like Federal Reserve Notes (US Dollars) aren’t backed by anything, either, so what’s the problem?

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why is the Russian Federation so interested in Bitcoin on: June 06, 2011, 01:15:52 AM
I have noticed on Google Trend The Russian Federation has a very large number of searches. Could elements of the Russian Mob be ready to invest in Bitcoin? It could be a great way to launder money from country to country untraceable. Or Russian hackers are notorious for cracking system to make money. This is the Google Trend link http://www.google.com/trends?q=bitcoin&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How does the Bitcoin Collapse Start? on: June 05, 2011, 06:45:59 PM
Today the MtGox exchange price is 16.1 for Bitcoins, down 15%. Should we worry when it fall below 14.5 today? Weighted Price (30d) 8.17 Are traders on a Sunday break or are the cracks in the ecurrency starting to show? Deepbit.net mining pool is a very big investment in the Bitcoin currency. What are they thinking today?
I noticed the down volume is out pacing the up volume. I hope one of the big holders of Bitcoins is not ready to bail leaving thousands of traders with Bitcoins less than what they paid for. Could Computer Auto trading programs cause a Bitcoin Flash Crash?
WATCH THE DOWN VOLUME!   A good CORRECTION could see Bitcoins at 10.5

16  Economy / Marketplace / What happens when the Bitcoin prices are too high and more Miners come online? on: June 05, 2011, 03:57:05 PM
What happens when the Bitcoin  prices are too high and more Miners come online?
Why I ask this?
Demand Destruction happens when the price for a stocks, commodities, Homes etc. becomes so high that
the average person cannot afford it. BTC "$17.00, $30.00, $50.00 $100.00".
Bitcoin Miners are always coming online and adding BTC to the market causing a gult.
At what price will a flood of sell order go in trapping traders and their stockpile of Bitcoin?
