Avrupa Bankacılık Otoritesi’nin (EBA) başkanı Andrea Enria doğrudan kripto paraları düzenlemektense bankaların ve diğer mali kurumların kripto para bulundurmalarını ve satmalarını yasaklamanın daha etkili olabileceğini düşünüyor.

Şu sıralar Avrupa’da kripto para düzenlemeleriyle ilgili ortaya pek çok fikir atılıyor. Avrupa Komisyonu 8 Mart’ta AB genelindeki fintech -Blockchain de dahil- sektörünü kapsayan bir düzenleme çerçevesinden bahsetmişti. Geçtiğimiz hafta ise İngiltere Bankası’nın yöneticisi kripto paraların “komple yasaklanmamaları” gerektiğini ancak yine de düzenlenmeleri gerektiğini söylemişti.

Kripto paraların aleyhinde konuşan kişiler genelde kripto paraların düzenlenmeleri gerektiğini çünkü bu gibi paraların herhangi bir otorite, güç, kurum tarafından desteklenmediklerini söylüyorlar. Enria ise bu görüşe pek katılmıyor. Enria’ya göre kripto paraların herhangi bir kurum tarafından desteklenmemeleri, kripto paraların düzenlenmeleri gerektiği fikrini meşrulaştırmaya yetmiyor.
