1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / KNC Titan Litecoin Miner - alternate? on: June 04, 2017, 08:35:25 PM
So I pulled out my KNC Titan Litecoin miner and there are so many Algos now. Does anyone know what this miner can mine besides Scrypt?
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / S. California Data Centers on: April 12, 2014, 04:41:59 AM
If anyone in S. California is looking to host their miners in a datacenter, do not go to Ontario Datacenter. I had my 12 Antminers in there for 3 weeks and they told me it is drawing too much power 24x7. Even though I requested 3 - 20amp circuits. I never trip'd a breaker. They are just not used to that power draw and heat output.

I also went to a 100% solar datacenter in Romoland. They had no problem providing those circuits until a week later. They also called and couldn't handle the load. The power was too much and the heat was too much. AISO is the name of the datacenter.

Just providing this information so you don't waste your time driving, setting it up and then have to tear it back down a short time later.

3  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Data Center hosting location - California on: March 06, 2014, 04:28:49 PM
I bought some miners and would like to host them in a local data center in California. This way I might be able to keep down my costs on electricity and up time on my internet connection.

Does anyone use a data center and pay a monthly fee for it? If so which center? How much do you pay?

Has anyone been able to mine with Erupters on the same PC with a 30gh Chili?

If so, do they both use cgminer or do they use different mining programs?

Thx

9  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 48 BFL Bare chips for sale 4 GH/s each on: June 15, 2013, 07:18:55 PM
I have (as an early pre-order customer) 48 chip credits from BFL.

Feel free to bid here (1 chip is $75, 1 credit is $25, meaning 48x25 = $1200 in discount for chips).

I am willing to sell that for BTC9 for the lot of 48 chip credits or in blocks of 16 for BTC3. BFL chips are low powered high yield in hash speeds. Each 65nm ASIC chip supplies 4 GH of calculation speed.  Here is a link to the chip itself with all the specs. https://products.butterflylabs.com/65nm-asic-bitcoin-mining-chip.html

Advantages of BFL chips:

1/2 the power usage per GH as the closest competitor
1/10th the silicon area per GH as the closest competitor (Very high performance density)
You can use off the shelf heat sinks depending on your chip layout due to FCBGA package vs custom underside heat sinks as required on some QFN packages. You don't have to design and manufacture heat sinks!
Proven design currently operating in the field and ready to go.

12  Economy / Computer hardware / Apple Classic Black 60gb Color iPod on: April 19, 2013, 05:43:20 AM
This auction is for a used Apple Classic Black 60gb color iPod.
Included is original packaging, unused original headphones
with unopened headphone covers.

I am the original owner. I upgraded the iOS to 1.3 as of 10/21/12.
I also erased all the data form the unit so it is like it is brand new.
Also attached are 2 skins. The front is Mario and the back is Lugi. This skin can be removed easily.
The back is shinny silver and the front is black. I didn't remove the skins to see if there where any scratches but I don't think there is.
You can play music, picture slideshows, and videos in color.

Good luck. I will include free shipping with insurance. Start at 1 BTC.

Auction ends on 4/19/13 at 6pm PACIFIC TIME.
