New rules for newbie and jr members were introduced because of the high amount of dirty posts all over the forum. Bounty hunters are mostly affected by restrictions. First of all, we need to clearly identify advantages and disadvantages of new restriction.

Advantages

• Removing ability of wearing signature from newbie will reduce spamming
• It will increase the quality of the system
• Newbies (early jr members) will more encourage to post good posts and it will add a value to the forum
• One who newly join to the community will pay more attention about rules

Disadvantages

• Causes to underground merit markets
• People will post everywhere with the aim of increasing rank

The major aim of the decision has successfully achieved so far. But this will be a good chance to underground merit markets even though it is illegal.
 
To get more benefits from new rules, role of smerit holder is also important. There can be some unpopular merit holders who never motivate others with merits. These things also need to be considered in such a situation. In case of copper members, newbie copper members can wear signatures. It will make a new issue if each and every newbie buy a copper membership.
