1  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] Casascius 2011 coins and Bitbill on: May 27, 2018, 03:25:59 PM
Bitbill:
Most people probably don't remember these, they were created back in 2011 as the first "physical bitcoin": Bitcointalk thread, Website

Casascius:
Casascius coins are well known and were introduced later that year: Website. I am selling 2 coins from the first 2 series, one of them has the famous spelling error (Casacius).

Items to sell:

Photos were taken a few days ago:

Auction:

Each item is sold separately but we will use this same thread for the bids. Just add the name of the item you are bidding on. Example:

Code:
Series 1 coin: 1.2BTC

Any bid in the last 30m extends the bidding period with an additional hour. Since the items are loaded and include the forks I am adjusting the starting bid according to that.

Starting Bid: 1.2BTC for each item

Buy it now price: 1.7BTC for each item

Bidding Increments: 0.01 BTC

End time: 2018-06-06 19h00 UTC - Countdown

Escrow and payment:

Payments should be made in bitcoins to the address: 38umMbiPvqGYgfwnhugRpVdtqZn6p3p6PV

Regarding trust, I used to be a hero member here a long time ago. Unfortunately, my account got locked and I don't have a way to unlock it. I do own some other accounts if that counts for anything.
With that being said, using a trusted third-party is definitely welcomed. All costs related to the escrow are supported by the buyer.
Shipping costs should be relatively low and are paid by me (I am shipping from Europe).

EDIT: I have some PM limits so if I don't respond right away is probably because of that. It's easier to discuss offers if you send me your email or if you reply in this post
EDIT: Bitbill is being sold for the "Buy now" price. Marked it as reserved until we're done setting up the escrow and payment arrangements.
EDIT 2018-06-05: Bitbill sent.
2  Other / Meta / Account unlock on: March 01, 2018, 12:13:51 PM
Hi,

I had an account with over 1000 posts since 2011 and now when I try to login I get a message saying that my account is locked. My original username was nmat:

Sorry nmat, you are banned from using this forum!
Your account is locked because it sat inactive for years after the password hashes were leaked in 2015, and was therefore at high risk of being hacked. Email xxxx@xxxx to get it unlocked.

I emailed that address a week ago but I got no reply. I believe I changed my password when the hashes were leaked and, as far as I know, I haven't been hacked so I assume my account was locked just as a safety precaution.
I have no bitcoin address associated with that account (aren't we supposed to use disposable addresses anyway?), but I still own the email I registered with. What should I do to get that account unlocked?

Thanks
