WIRESUMMIT 2018 | A Private Blockchain Startup Investment Summit . COMMUNITY WIRE SUMMIT 2018 is committed to being the largest and most extensive blockchain oriented event in the industry. With this edition, the main focus will be on startup funding and investment promotion. Hello, I am trying to do an Excel spreadsheet of the amount of coins generated in mining an SCRYPT based coin per day. Here is what I have so far, based on what I pulled from various online sources: Number of Coins in Block Reward, which I will call N, divided by the following:
Difficulty multiplied by two (2) to the power of thirty two (32)
OR
Diff*2^32 : lets call that D
This entire amount divided by the hash rate, which I will call H
so D/H so far.
Divide this entire amount by 3600 (or the minutes in the day?) which I will call M.
so now (D/H) / M
Now take that final amount and divide it by the number of hours in the day, or 24 which I will shorten to day.
so now ((D/H) / M) / Day
So that leads me to the following equation (using my abbreviations above). N / (((D/H) / M) / Day)However, this calculation is off as when I plug the numbers in the final amount is incorrect. Can anyone help me with getting the correct equation? Also if you can break down what is divided by what that would be great. I am not the best at math but I try  |

So I am reading one of the latest bits on BitCoin and I stumble across this:Money Transmitters
Stephanie Newberg, president of the Money Transmitter Regulators Association, a group of state officials, said Bitcoin will dominate her association’s agenda precisely because its legal status is unclear.
“Some states have statutes that are broad enough to do it immediately,” said Newberg, who is also deputy commissioner of banking in Texas. “Other states don’t. It’s a state-by-state question.”
JPMorgan Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon has said he expects that Bitcoin will be less of a threat once regulators intervene.
Bitcoin “will eventually be made as a payment system, I think, to follow the same standards as the other payment systems, and that will probably be the end of them,” Dimon said Jan. 23 in an interview on CNBC.
Bitcoin was introduced in 2008 by a programmer or group of programmers under the name Satoshi Nakamoto. It has no central issuing authority, and uses a public ledger to verify encrypted transactions.
Successful virtual currency startups will have to commit to being regulated by the states, said Fred Ehrsam, chief executive of Coinbase in San Francisco, a company that helps users buy and sell Bitcoin.
“We think California and New York will set the tone for everything else,” Ehrsam said. “When that tone is established, we’re ready to hand in licensing applications immediately.” My question is this; and this goes out to financial experts more than anything else: How will complying with "money transmitter" laws affect BitCoin and who will be affected?
