1  Economy / Auctions / Fixed price auction: 50 ASICMINER Shares 120 BTC (2.4 each) on: June 09, 2013, 07:33:11 AM
Hi there, I recently sold 50/100 of my AM shares in this auction: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227498.0

I now wish to sell the remaining 50. This time all at once to the same buyer, which is why I have set the cheap price of 2.4 each.

I will expect payment within 3 hours of when you agree to buy the shares, or else I may find another buyer. (I am still waiting for someone to pay for 7 from the last auction...)

Proof of my ownership of 50 shares:

2  Economy / Auctions / [Auction] - 50 x ASICMINER Shares - 22-Hour auction on: June 07, 2013, 12:17:07 AM
Hi, I am selling 50 of my DIRECT ASICMINER Shares.

Starting bid is 2.5 btc per share and auction will finish 22 hours from now.

Auction will be extended for 3 minutes after the last bid if people are still bidding at the end. Forum timestamps will be used to determine winners.

Minimum bid increment of 0.01 btc

You can bid on any whole amount of shares 1-50.

If I have forgotten anything let me know.. I will post up proof of ownership in a minute.

If buyer wants escrow with JohnK or any other member that I agree with that is fine as long as they pay for any fee's involved.

Thanks, goodluck Smiley

9  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Overclocking 5830's, hashrate won't go up on: June 18, 2011, 10:19:54 AM
Hi there, today i've been trying to OC my 5830's but the problem is its always getting around 277-280 khash/sec
this is from about 920mhz - 1025mhz (which froze after 10mins)

reading other peoples posts they seem to be getting 300+ with clocks of 975MHz and up.
I have tried different miners and different settings on all of them, nothing seems to make the hash rate any higher its always around that same mark with some changes in config making it drop a bit.

Is there a bottleneck in my system?

I'm running this on Linuxcoin v0.2a off a USB drive. system specs are..

AMD Sempron Processor 140 2.7GHz
Antec 620W ATX NEO ECO PSU
Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM
MSI 870A-G46 AM3 AMD 870 ATX AMD MBD
2x Sapphire HD5830 Extreme 1G GDDR5 256bit PCI-E Video card

Does anyone have any idea why i cant get over 280kh/sec? I have gone back to 875/225 for the time being which gets me 255khs (sick of the extreme fan noise, will put in another room once i get it oc'd properly)
10  Bitcoin / Mining / Will this 4xGPU rig work? v2 on: June 07, 2011, 09:39:26 PM

I have made a second attempt at finding a system capable of supporting 4xHD5830's

http://www.pp.co.nz/products.php?pp_id=AA16852

I will just be using air for cooling (a few grunty fans..), the box will be stored in a well ventilated and low temperature enviroment (Its currently 11°C)

Only things i'm not sure about are if the memory or cpu would need to be more powerful, would it effect the performance of the GPUs hashrate?
I'm also aware that cooling may be more difficult than i expect, but I can sort that out once i've got it all together.

Would love to hear comments on this system and if you think it would work! Cheers
11  Bitcoin / Mining / Would this quad GPU mining setup work? on: June 07, 2011, 12:28:26 PM

Not sure about the CPU or RAM, I just chose cheap ones. Would I need better?

Also ignore prices they are NZD (components more expensive here)

Thanks!
