1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Selling Comm? on: April 19, 2014, 12:34:51 AM
This poll is only intended for stakeholders with at least 100K coins.
Please do not vote if you hold less coins.

I'm not talking here about day trading / selling your full or partial stake and buying it again.

I created this poll to find out how strong or weak this community is. Hopefully it will help stakeholders to decide what to do with their stake in the near future (sell or hold).

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do miners effect each other? on: January 25, 2014, 12:02:17 AM
Hi,

Do the miners have effect on each other if you mine multiple coins (with multiple miners)? Does the overall hashrate go down?
Is it more profitable to mine only 1 coin at a time?

Thanks  Wink
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Have you got this problem too with Cryptsy? on: January 22, 2014, 02:53:47 PM
I have traded some coins and this shows up in my trade history as well. The problem is that the coins that I have traded have been deducted form my balance but the bought coins don't show up (haven't been added to my balance).

Is this normal and how long do I have to wait? I assume that the person I bought the coins from hasn't the coins anymore and that they are with Cryptsy. Is this true?

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DOGE blockchain - something strange happened !!!!! on: January 20, 2014, 03:09:49 PM
Hi,

I'm trying to help out someone on this forum who claims that his coins have been stolen. It might be beneficial to all of us to protect our wallets better if someone can help to explain what exactly happened in block nr. 60539

http://dogechain.info/address/DFRfYxaPFtjC9rcZofvv5KuMGZHbqwuFMM

You will see that there were 15 outgoing transactions within a second and they have all been transferred to wallet DEsuWyPDA7y9eW4rR77TKTs21n3ZXTVhDQ

But this wallet has only 1 incoming transaction HuhHuh?? However the total is exactly the same as the 15 outgoing transactions from wallet DFRfYxaPFtjC9rcZofvv5KuMGZHbqwuFMM

Thanks guys  Wink

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Recover your Dogecoins from the recent fork or any other coin ?????? on: January 11, 2014, 08:28:49 PM
Is there still anyone who couldn't recover their coins from the last fork, even though they have tried every 'solution' on here and on Reddit?

I'm still busy recovering my coins. It's only 1177 DOGE but that's all that I had (after all my coins had been stolen from a pool as well  Embarrassed).
I might have found a solution, but I'm still working on it and will update this post later.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NXT coin = scam coin -> New proof on: December 28, 2013, 02:26:17 PM

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Where is the Bitcoin software stored ? on: December 26, 2013, 03:09:28 AM
Sorry that I might sound stupid  Roll Eyes, but I'm trying to understand more about Bitcoin.
Is it a piece of software (central) connected to all Bitcoin clients or is it stored in the Bitcoin client itself? And how do the developers manage to make adjustments to the software. If they are able to access it than wouldn't it be easy for the governments to shut it down?

Thanks  Wink
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NXT a doubtful coin? on: December 22, 2013, 02:57:35 PM
Hi,

Can anyone shed some light about NXT? It looks like it is centralized which - all the coins are in existence, you will have no wallet to keep to yourself as everything will be transferred to coinbase so it's easily to manipulate and be controlled by the bankers/governments, in January you might even get some interest etc.
This doesn't sound good actually if you compare it with the other altcoins. I believe that they are popular because of their decentralization (except from the peercoin which bears a risk if it keeps growing) and that it cannot be controlled by the Jewish bankers who are actually behind interest based loans and financial collapses through the enslavement of humanity with debts.

I appreciate your opinion )
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Mining hardware or cloud mining? on: December 20, 2013, 07:11:38 PM
Hi all,

Is it better to invest in mining hardware, like a couple of asic usb miners or invest in cloud mining such as www.cex.io. The miners are getting more and more expensive. You simply can't complete with other bidders on Ebay on a limited budget, but once you've used it you can resell it. Purchasing hashpower on cex.io is also quite expensive but I've read that you can resell this too.
Which method is more profitable on the long run and what do you use?

Sam
