Was wondering how mining still can be profitable even with free power??
For example
the SP20 (1.7Th/s) goes for 1200$ and ships mid this month and will not earn the money back spent on the miner.
the antminer s4 (2 Th/s) goes for 1250$ and will not earn the money back spent on the miner.
how would this make a profit at all for larger mining companies and individuals?
Do they do special deals with the producers of the miners?
How do they still make money with overpriced hardware?

Just got an ant miner s1 however im having problems setting it up. Everything is running however it only shows 60GH on "slush" pool, The miner has been running for 3 hours  :/ Please help!!

Im new here. However, not new to mining!! I have been mining PPc a lot and have been active on the PPc forum for some time.
I would like a new challenge, and have decided to setup a new ppc pool. I have looked at some pool backends like Eloipool, but need some tips for front end stuff. Would wordpress work for the front end?? what would i need to get that working??
