1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Information on old bitcoin inflation bug on: April 09, 2019, 01:48:10 AM
I was watching a video by Richard Heart ( crypto youtuber that was around during early btc days) and he briefly touched upon that latest bitcoin inflation bug that happened to be discovered by a bitcoin cash developer before it was too late.  He didn't really go heavy into detail but I would like to get some more information about this near catastrophic event from knowledgeable users.  I really haven't been able to find much information through various search avenues.
2  Economy / Economics / Technology improves we work more. on: September 13, 2018, 05:33:19 PM
The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?

If a poster addresses someone as Sir, 99 percent of the time they are from a Non English speaking country.
4  Other / Off-topic / bounty Advertising does nothing on: June 21, 2018, 01:17:35 PM
These spammers from 3rd world countries that are helping to "advertise" projects barely help at all.  The majority of this advertising will fail to reach investors with actual money to invest :/

Their twitter followers consist of fake accounts and  fellow poor 3rd worlders that don't have the money to invest.  Same deal with their facebook "friends"  All those retweets and shares do nothing.

The "content creation" they do is a joke and is just view botted so that achieves nothing as well.

5  Other / Serious discussion / The rise of Myopia on: June 21, 2018, 01:12:48 AM
Myopia (nearsightedness) is becoming a major problem in today's world.  Many "professionals" will say its all genetic and there is nothing you can do.  This is a blatant lie, the eyesight problems of humans in modern civilization is entirely from misuse of our eyes.  Our ancestors didn't spend hours upon hours looking at screens  close to their face.  There have been studies done about eskimos regarding eyesight.  The parents that lived a natural life, virtually none of them had eyesight problems.  But whne schools were introduced for the kids myopia rates started to skyrocket..

The eyeglass/lasik/contacts industry makes billions of dollars per year so they are not interested in natural cures.  In some places like singapore the myopia rate is extremely high.  The worst places have rates over 80 percent.

I cured my own myopia simply by wearing weaker lenses and eventually not wearing glasses at all.  The most important thing is to challenge your vision and focus further away.  This did take awhile but you can feel the muscles in your eyes working to get stronger.

Wearing glasses is like using a wheel chair to move everyhwere. What will happen to your leg muscles when you roll around in a wheelchair? Your muscles will lose function!  It can be regained but it takes effort and time.

8  Other / Off-topic / Society and Nudity on: May 30, 2018, 02:43:36 PM
Nudity is  nothing.  How the hell is this a big deal in our current world. Brainwashing.

Its just our natural bodies but have been so strongly conditioned to think its immoral or some fucking nonsense.

It perfectly fine to show people being brutally murdered on television, but a naked person and people freak out.
9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Account Farm Chinese Bounty Cheater Scammers on: May 30, 2018, 01:23:26 PM
The following accounts are connected and are cheating a bounty, I'm 100 percent sure of this.  They happen to have 10 merits exactly, ( the exact amount to be a member), this is not a coincidence.  If you investigate the merit given and received its obvious account farming.

Chinese spammers, the few posts they make in english are copy and pasted.  These accounts signed up within seconds of one another for the same bounty.  They also have  very similar names.

These scum bags deserve permanent bans.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / My friend created A Quantum computer on: May 20, 2018, 02:47:27 AM
My longtime friend that I have known from elementary school has always been a computer genius.  Thats basically all he did growing up. He was always tinkering with tech and anything new.  He's kind ofl ike a modern day Tesla. Well after a few years without contact he claims to have developed a fully functional quantum computer.  He will be bulding more but the scary thing is how he was telling me how it will basically destroy the mining market.  I couldn't keep this a secret but he estimates he will be mining over 90 percent of newly generated bitcoins once he gets everything up and running.  Basically he can destroy the entire network if he wants to

I am quite worried and I don't know of his whereabouts as of yet.
12  Other / Meta / Ban the 3rd world non english speakers on: May 17, 2018, 06:16:38 AM
Ban accounts with IPs from china, russia, venzuela, indonesia, india, etc = home of the scammers.

WE need to get rid of these broken english speaking scammers!!!!!.

The best solution is to just remove signatures completely.   In most of the threads, no actual conversation even takes place.  It's just people posting their few lines for their signature  campaigns.   Bitcointalk would be 100x better without signatures.  Keep this place for real conversations, crypto lovers, and not 3rd world crypto scammers.

does he have some type of disease or something? It looks like he has a serious health issue.  It's like balding seriously and extremely thin, looks diseased.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Why even waste your time? on: May 13, 2018, 06:39:10 AM
Why even bother mining for a few pennies- dollars per day.  All the time you spent doing research, setting up your gear etc, you could just make a lot more money working a regular job.  It makes zero financial sense.

You can just buy way more crypto by working a regular job.  Bitmain is making billions from idiots like the ones on this forum.  By the time you get the "new equipment" its already old and used.

15  Other / Meta / Bitcointalk vs marinecoin? on: May 11, 2018, 10:48:13 PM
I would like to speak to the bitcointalk owner/mods on why they took a harsh stance on any posts regarding marinecoin.  Are they threatened mtc was the only crypto to every have the top marketcap spot over bitcoin.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining on nintendo? on: May 10, 2018, 01:26:27 AM
My friend is able to source a bunch of nintendo consoles and configure them for mining crypto.  Does anyone here have more experience with this, I lost contact with him and I'm looking to get into mining.

It's mostly wii u, switch, and a few gamecubes.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / MTC Marinecoin will be a top 20 coin on: April 20, 2018, 01:27:22 PM
Most cryptos hold scammy ICOs and the devs hold massive amount of coins.  There aren't many fair truly decentralized crryptos.  The great thing about mtc is that that over 95 percent of total supply is being fairly distributed.

Remember raiblocks (now Nano) distributed its supply with capctha as well and it went from 400k marketcap to 3 billion marketcap.

I predict a similar rise for mtc since its fair, decentralized, fast speeds, low energy used.  The thing about mtc is that its not a new coin but it originally started in 2013 and is the only coin that had the top spot over bitcoin before on total marketcap.
