1  Other / Meta / Day and Night Mode for Bitcointalk on: August 05, 2018, 02:36:30 AM
It's 3am here and bloody hell it's bright as day thanks to the colour outlay of this forum. How hard would it be to implement a day/night mode switch button to this site? If it's already done then I do apologize and I will remove this thread ASAP. Just looking at the screen is an eye sore, I could turn the lights on of course but I family member wouldn't be happy with it on at all.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I hate miner preference! on: July 12, 2018, 11:35:05 PM
It's been near 13 hours since the transaction was made to my wallet and it's still not confirmed! I mean sure I see the sense in the miners making more profit from bigger transactions but to not have a solution for smaller transactions to date just boils my blood in anger. All the more reason to go full PoS! How long has it taken you and do you think there should be a solution to miner preferences and if so what is it and how would that be possible?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Where do you see crypto-currency take us in the next 5, 10, 15 or 20+ years? on: July 12, 2018, 08:58:50 PM
I was on discord writing post as I normally do for a few coins I help out with moderation. I stopped typing for a minute and thought to myself, "How well can crypto-currency influence the way we live and how will it all be regulated without it interfering with out privacy?".

There is of course the idea that data will be stored on the block chain but how will that positively/negatively affect us? Yes transparency is great and I am all for it but where would you draw the line? More importantly is the security of the network also, how can security be maintained and kept at the highest level? I was thinking of a wallet that would update the network every few months  with new hash's that gets linked to the wallet address and the whole system would be kept alive through PoS as I find that to be more of an efficient solution to PoW and of course doesn't require miners to run the network for you a single masternode would be enough to generate blocks on the network without major problems ( there are problems of course but not great in nature).
