21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is anyone planning to take part in the Open Campus (EDU) Binance Launchpad? on: April 25, 2023, 09:11:24 PM
To be honest, I have never taken part in an IEO on any centralized exchange. However, Binance has recently introduced a new subscription model for new projects that requires a commitment of BNB. Despite being an old crypto user, this is a completely new concept for me. Upon conducting thorough research on all previous projects launched on Binance Launchpad, I became interested in committing to it. On April 28th, Binance Launchpad will be launching Open Campus (EDU) and I have set aside some BNB to invest in it. I am aware that it involves a certain level of risk, but it's a risk worth taking as we cannot earn without taking chances.

Is anyone else planning to invest in EDU?
22  Other / Beginners & Help / New virus & malware automatically empties crypto exchange accounts on: April 06, 2023, 11:29:35 AM
You can read the full details here: "New Virus Automatically Empties Crypto Exchange Accounts" - this is the topic title used from that article.

However, we know that malware is quite dangerous for crypto users, mainly because they tend to visit various sites such as gambling and porn. It is easier to attack crypto users through porn sites. But it seems that this new malware is more dangerous than previous ones. It can obtain your two-factor authentication by tricking you, so be careful, guys.

It has been suggested for a long time not to store your crypto in an exchange. Instead, use a non-custodial wallet or a hardware wallet so that malware won't damage you when you are using a hardware wallet. Even a non-custodial software wallet isn't safe from malware if both are on the same device.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 01, 2023, 09:33:45 AM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Saudi Telecom (STC) accept Crypto payment in Bahrain. on: December 15, 2022, 03:07:11 AM
Saudi Telecom is the biggest Telecom company in Saudi Arabia. They are operating the business in many countries as well and Bahrain is one of them. Recently Saudi Telecom (STC) in Bahrain accept crypto payment. Just saw it on Binance tweets.

To be honest I know Saudi Telecom very well and feel proud that they are accepting crypto payments now. It's just like opening the door. If more Telecom companies start accepting crypto payment then it would be a nice adaption. However, at least a small positive news behind many incidents.

26  Other / Beginners & Help / How hard to detect scams nowadays? on: October 08, 2022, 08:27:02 AM
Time has changed, and scammers change their scamming method as well. Most scammers have used fake photos and plagiarized websites previously. But now a lot of scammers scam with the real photo or KYC. So investing in a brand new project become gambling. It's because it's no more easy to detect scams nowadays. Scammer rugging investors with KYC or real team photos/video. They don't care about anything. Who can take action even if they skip with funds? Who will find them? They just raised funds and enjoy. After a few days, all investors forget about it and start new gambling.

So how to detect smart scams? To be honest there is no way. Whether the project has KYC or Audit doesn't mean it's safe for a team that isn't a scammer. They just don't care about everything.

Although we can't prevent scams we may try at least to save our funds. Here is how.

1. Don't invest in a brand-new project.
2. If you invest assume you are gambling with your funds.
3. See if the project has live utilities which are fully functional.
4. Don't believe the KYC report, because there are a lot of people who sell KYC.
5. Check the project's Partnership and verify if it's real and potential.

Once again, don't invest in the brand new project.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Don't keep connected your wallet to a Dapps for a long time. on: September 18, 2022, 07:35:24 PM
Often we need to connect wallet third-party sites for various reasons. We should always ignore connecting our wallet to an unknown and unsafe site. That's how your wallet would be drained. One of my known person's wallets has been hacked a few days back. Then he contacts Metamask about how it has happened. They said the metamask was connected to a couple of sites for a long time and users didn't disconnect wallets. Hackers took this advantage and take control of full wallets. So funds have been drained from all the addresses. Metamask doesn't disclose which Dapps and how happened.

I learned from him that we shouldn't keep connected any Dapps for a long time. It would drain wallet funds after a certain period. Always disconnect your wallet even if you connect for any reason. Don't just leave it as it is. Hackers have powerful tools to trace you and drain your wallet. Don't give that chance.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about Digipad (DGP)? on: August 19, 2022, 06:39:32 PM
I am curious, have you heard about Digipad (DGP)? Currently hyped and I actually like what they are offering. Usually, I don't post any brand new tokens but Digipad seems interesting to me since they want to create a safer environment for crypto investors. Digipad is a private investment Launchpad where startup projects would raise funds. The most interesting thing is Digipad managed insurance if any of the project rugs are hosted on their platform. Because they will host only SAFU projects where project owners can't rug investors.

After a long time, I have invested a brand new token lol. It's because they KYC'D with trusted Pinksale partners. Currently, they are in the presale phase. It's quite surprising they got listed on CoinMartketCap & Coingecko before starting a private sale. I have to say the team behind Digipad is quite strong.

What do you think? You may look on their TG: https://t.me/digipadglobal
29  Economy / Reputation / Promoting potential scam site on multiple threads on: June 27, 2022, 07:12:08 PM
Asking for an opinion before investing in a site is good. But behind that, some scammers take advantage to share their sites. It becomes more clear when OP doesn't agree to hear a negative opinion. So here is the thread you may like to read.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5404211.0 (archived).

He is promoting a website (likely a scam) and overacting when Potato Chips leaves his true opinion. I said he is promoting it because he is posting this link on multiple threads. Check his post history.

I am pretty sure markvin is involved with that potential scam site. Still, I haven't tag him. I will see the community response.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Another example is how greed destroy crypto investors. on: May 31, 2022, 04:08:48 AM
A few days back I bought a token from Launchpad. After they Launch on Pancakeswap I made 1.5X and sold. I was happy with that. But unfortunately, the token price grow double every day, then I bought again at the higher price. I thought this was a chance to multiply my portfolio again. Even though it grow 5x but O didn't sell that due to greedy behavior. Eventually, the project rug was pulled and skipped with all the funds. That means I lost everything even including my initial investment. This is how greed destroys us and scammer takes the advantage.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are you filling your bags? on: May 22, 2022, 04:11:25 PM
Still, the crypto market is dumped, have you filled your bags? Often we worried when the market becomes down for any reason. But we don't think that as an opportunity to accumulate in low. Whales do that and make a big profit whereas small traders like us lose money. I have accumulated a few top coins though it is down from the buy price. But still, I am holding and moved to Ledger for long holding. What about you? Have you filled your bags? Or just watching and waiting for more dips?
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are you following very basic crypto rules? on: May 14, 2022, 07:17:31 PM
The current hot topic is Luna. It's very sad that a lot of investors bagger due to Luna drama. The more sad thing is some people committed to suicide. Even in my country, it has happened. I will say think kind of situation occurs due to not following two very basic crypto rules. I know everyone knows these rules, but want to share again and remind you what would happen if you don't follow these rules.

1. Don't invest in crypto if you can't afford the loss.
2. Don't put your eggs in one basket.

It's pretty simple rules, I don't think here needs any detailed explanation at all. We should invest only what we can afford the loss. And shouldn't invest in one coin all of your savings. When you invest multiple coins that won't scam you at the same time. So follow the very basic crypto rules and don't commit suicide.
33  Economy / Reputation / Display Name changed from "COOLCRYPTOVATOR" to "The Cryptovator" | Tnx Theymos on: May 13, 2022, 01:43:42 PM
Hello community, I am COOLCRYPTOVATOR.  It's to notify you that I have requested theymos to change my display name due to some reason. And he approved it within a short time. Thanks, theymos for your quick response and consideration.

My current display name is The Cryptovator

I still love my old username where I was famous. But a few impersonators just forced me to change the display name. The profile link still exists the same. This thread is just for public announcement and awareness.

35  Other / Beginners & Help / Useful Bot for reverse image search or find fake team photos. on: February 02, 2022, 03:36:20 AM
Sometimes we need to check reverse images especially when we intend to invest in some project to find a fake team. Often we have been using different websites to help us find the reverse image. I found a Telegram Bot that will find a reverse image for you. I have tried and working fine. Since it doesn't need to download or interrogate anything and you can chat like a normal user, so no risk in using it. Though I don't know the creator but would be helpful for us those who have been busting scams. This bot will search images from 7 different websites and give you the option to check by clicking links including Google, Bing, and Yandesk. Simply you just need to send images to the Bot and it will give you options to search.

Here is the Telegram bot link: @LCxRvsImgSrch_bot
36  Economy / Reputation / Account seller. on: January 30, 2022, 07:09:42 PM
It has drawn my attention,

4. Buy-sell account
There are no restrictions on buying and selling accounts, which are stated in the general forum rules. But when the ownership of the account changes, it's not impossible that top members suspect account buyers will do things they don't want (such as fraud). This is why those who buy accounts often get neg-trust.

So, what is this? Are you trying to rankup another account and sell it again? You really are an account farmer apparently.

I really don't know why so many users are willing to give you merit. Don't they know you are an account farmer?

Archived: https://archive.fo/2fi3u

Account sales till 2018. Posting here just not sure whether this account seller deserves a tag or should leave him. A couple of questions here, we don't know still this account is under the original owner. Or still that users farming accounts. Admin encourages to become soft during leave negative feedback. Surprisingly account seller created a thread on how to avoid the red tag by avoiding account sales, lol. Quite ridiculous.
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / TEN Crypto Trading Lesson. on: January 27, 2022, 06:54:39 PM
I have found some useful advice for traders. So sharing with the community and it would help us to reduce loss from trading. I realized why most of us have been losing during the trade especially during bear markets. Although I don't know that person, but his lesson would be useful for us. I collect all the quotes from his Twitter together. So you may read from here rather than visit his Twitter account. Here is all his lesson.

Quote
1. If you don't learn to trade, time and manage your positions, you will lose all your bull market profits, eventually. This will absolutely happen, it's just maths. The above happened to 99% of class of 2017 people. Improve or die.

2. You don't need to be a genius to profit here. Keep clicking, understand the mindset of the proven good traders and research EVERY word they say. Eventually you'll have a good system to be independent and be on auto Pilot. Details of trading system

3. Make friends. Make a group with them and discuss, be active and OFFER before you ask for help. People will help you more when you tell them what you can do for them, rather than just asking for help. People like Johnnie have made me millions for just listening to them.

4. Which indicators to use? Horizontal S/R is the most logical kind of tool because it literally is derived from the supply/demand pressure. Apart from these, use the ones which derive their logic from order flows and not random mathematical statistics.

5. Insight information like Orderflow, Footprints, are a tool and not an edge. It provides you a scan of orders getting placed and executed but it's not an advantage unless you sit down weeks trying to understand the behaviour. Trading better comes from market behavior hacking.

6. In the long term, you will make more money by managing risks than by taking more risks. Market rewards constant small bets more then one degen big bet. You can recover all your losses if you do it slowly. Not having enough capital or patience makes the above a risk.

7. There's just one secret to trading. Keep clicking. Trade a lot. Risk small. Take a lot of bets and keep doing it. The more you trade, the better you her marinated and ready for the market. This teaches patience, planning and bring skin in the game. Trade a lot.

8. If you miss a breakout, don't chase it. Traders who lack discipline simply become chasers and that's a perfect recipe of bankruptcy. Waiting is the hardest thing in trading which is stupid because there's a new opportunity every hour.

9. Open hundred charts. Make your levels. Mark your entries. Journal it. Calculate your win rate and the price path the next day. Repeat it every day and see how you change. Trading is literally just this. Exercise what you do to get rich.

10. Give yourself time to learn the art before you expect profits from it. 3-4 years is a rational time to. Learn a new skill. Remember this.

I hope the above tips helped you. Was written while I laid on my bed for a power nap. Thank you, will release the Level to Level trade pdf soon. Apologies that it's taking so much time. Please read and share the above again and IMPLEMENT IT. PLEASE.

39  Economy / Economics / Did you realize in real life how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom? on: December 11, 2021, 01:09:05 PM
Everyone knows how Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency and gives us financial freedom. I am wondering how did you realize that in real life that Bitcoin gave us financial freedom? This isn't a question, this is curiosity.

When I realized? And why? Let's describe it shortly.
A few days back I went to the bank to withdraw my deposit. That amount wasn't much big though, but the bank just asked me many questions. And surprisingly all were fucking questions. They asked me why do I need to withdraw and where will I spend. This happened first time with me since I was abroad for a long time. Then I realize how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom. No one is there asking me the question to spend my fund. How fucking centralized banking system even you have to encounter many questions during withdrawal your funds. They are asking questions like I am beger. This was my real file realization of how Bitcoin gives us financial freedom.

What about it, when did you realize in real life Bitcoin is giving us financial freedom?
40  Other / Beginners & Help / Be careful downloading files from mail with the content free Bitcoin offer. on: October 24, 2021, 03:05:51 AM
For the last few days, I am receiving mail with some downloadable files. Surprisingly although that kind of mail should consider as spam, the mail entering in my inbox. I know this is a hacking attempt from the leaked database.  But receiving regularly is quite annoying. I have reported it as spam so hope I will not receive it in my inbox anymore from the same address.

Here is the example:

The filename will always be like " Elon Giveaway, Free Bitcoin". So guys just be careful downloading such files from the mail. Don't be greedy and give your device control to the hackers.

Are you receiving such as mail?
