2  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / [Tanong] Mine pi LEHITIMO o ISKAM on: March 23, 2020, 11:06:10 AM

Walang iba kundi kapwa Pilipino.  Grin

What do you think, is it another scam o what?

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [GUIDE] Tips on securing our emails on: December 16, 2019, 10:41:28 PM
Security breach is natural here in the world of Crypto and I just want to share my own simple ways on how to lessen the possibility of being hacked, specially in our emails.

Below are the different methods I used to work to secure my own data:

1. Using Multiple Emails -
I recommend using multiple emails, normally 2 to 3 emails to protect the MAIN account.  To protect our accounts from any possible Scam, Phishing sites etc.  which may compromised your personal information.

Just simply identify which email is your main and which email will you make a dummy or for all types of site you don't sure if safe or not.

Explanation:

 Main :
Use this email to register for any  reputable sites and apps that hold your funds, like E-wallets (Coins.ph, Coinbase, Abra etc.) and for reputable exchanges that hold your assets (Binance, Bitfinex, Polinex, HitBTC etc.  )

It can also be used on various social media accounts such as:
Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.

But it's more secure if you have a separate email.  Email for social medias and email for all fund controll sites and apps.

 Note:
Never use this email to register to any sites, especially if you are an Airdrop and Bounty Hunter.

DUMMY
Use this email on any site, it is not as important as Main email.  Even if you're not sure about the sites / apps background or review it is safe as long as you do not link to your Main account.  Use your main to backup your dummy and if someone cracked your email pass  or you only forget the password you have the power to recover it but don't do it vice versa like making your dummy as recovery email for your main email..  Main must have control over dummy for recovery purposes.

As I mentioned earlier, you can use 2, 3, or more emails, the important thing is that Dummy has no connection to access main.

2. Using Multiple Password:
Like email, you can also use multiple passwords with different use to secure and manage accounts easily.

Example

 Main - December @ 123
 Dummy - November $ 456

You can add One, two or more tbased on your  ideal quantity of password but I recommend using 2 passwords for convenient in terms of memorizing.

If you notice they are almost identical to Format, because it is made for convenient purposes.
Entering numbers, CAPITAL LETTERS and special characters can make your password stronger.  Instead of making a long password with pure small letters is easy to crack.

3. Mobile Number -
Never let your main Email without any mobile numbers linked.  If  the dummy account is compromised, use the main email for recover it ( back up.  Here, the mobile number keeps you coming back.  Much better use this number as 2FA for your main.

Note: if you have lost your mobile number, replace it immediately with another mobile number.

This post is not the full key to secure your accounts so it is always "da best" to study closely any site or apps you go to or use.
May this article be helpful to you, whether you are a beginner or a professional.

Feel free to correct me if I have forgotten or misused terms.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Freezing Funds from Hacked Exchanges on: December 06, 2019, 08:43:18 AM
There are some consecutive incidents have been happens about "stealing funds"

But let's talk about the usually scenario on crypto world which is "Hacking" and how exchanges helps to minimize and protect not only the funds of the investors as well as protecting trust of all crypto users.

There are narrative that saying exchanges like Binance, Bitfinex, poloniex etc. Practicing frozing funds from wallets that currently holds funds from hacked exchanges.

Is it possible that they give back the funds from investors who are victims of exchanges breach?

"Binance has a longstanding history stopping stolen exchange funds from being deposited and traded on its exchange. In January of this year, Binance froze all funds associated with the hack on Cryptopia. The exchange lost some $3.6M in cryptocurrency and Binance took efforts to freeze several batches of deposits, including Metal (MTL) and Kyber Network (KNC). Binance also froze all funds linked to money laundering from WEX in October 2018."
6  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / [UPDATE] Senior advisor for the Dash Core Group has apparently disappeared on: December 04, 2019, 11:58:39 AM

Dash Senior Advisor Allegedly Absconds with Investor Funds

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / IDAX Crypto Exchange Confirms CEO Dissappearance with Cold Wallet Keys on: November 30, 2019, 07:26:16 AM
Here's the reason we should not store our assets on exchange, like this news

According to the article it could be a type of exit plan.
This can be happened in any exchanges. There are many ways to lose our funds this is the one example.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Question] The First Digital Currency You Can Mine On Your Phone on: November 19, 2019, 01:55:20 PM

Is there anyone familiar about this coin?
There is someone send me DM on FB saying that it will surpass what Bitcoin have now.

Mining using phone is a great, but I think it will make our phone slow.

Please take a look at this :

White paper :
Sorry I deleted it because someone is thinking that I advertise this coin the fact that I'm not.
< >
You say you're not advertising the coin, but it looks like that to me(by posting their whitepaper and website), if you just received a PM from someone unknown about a coin, it's definitely a shitcoin from a shit project, seeking more people to scam. I wouldn't bother reading their whitepaper or going to that website and I don't think anyone should, it would only be a waste of time.

Website

This post is not advertise the said coin, this post is only for sharing thoughts about it.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / TRX / BTC Long term hold plan on: November 17, 2019, 02:03:28 AM
I don't actually post about typical pairs but this one caught my attention.

I think it's the time to buy bulks of TRX after it reach the all time low resistance.

It surely make more or less 300% upward before it reach March of 2020.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Spammed by 1Sats TX on: November 16, 2019, 07:12:49 AM

Do you experience slow Bitcoin Send & Recieving transaction lately?
Bitcoin BlockChain is now Clogged by many Sats Transactions. Currently, BTC works through 350,000 confirmed transactions per day.

Quote
The BTC transaction fee, however, has not increased and is at $0.43. Although, whale-scale transactions usually pay higher fees. Still, for BTC, this is the biggest mempool congestion since January 2018. The backlog is also higher in comparison to the summer of 2019, when the Bitcoin network was used for a form of verification for other crypto projects.

What do you think this kind of attack effects to the Blockchain?
I think this will cause the price more lower due to slow transaction

14  Local / Pamilihan / [GABAY] Kahalagahan ng 2 Factor Authentication on: November 13, 2019, 03:25:20 PM

~See picture below ~

As you can see, ibinenta sa mura tapos bumili ng Mahal (Reverse Trading).

The point is, malaki ang pagkakamali ko dito. Umasa ako sa password, finger print, at pattern to secure my account.

Example :

Hanggang dito nalang at Maraming salamat.

15  Economy / Exchanges / My Funds on HITbTc hacked on: November 11, 2019, 02:14:21 AM
My balance is emptied! I don't know what happen but my XRP converted into BOX then trade into EOS until it became empty.

Anyone similar to this situation?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Bull Run is coming! on: November 10, 2019, 03:31:35 PM
While browsing on Reddit, I see this pic:
17  Local / Pilipinas / Pera sa Internet, Tara usap tayo! on: November 10, 2019, 01:26:39 PM
Usap muna tayo mga kabayan! Wink

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Newbie trader be like on: November 09, 2019, 12:08:42 PM
I waste lot of money on trading. Without planning I lost every trade which mostly the problem. By the way it's only trial but I didn't want to stop.

Making plans is needed to have successfull trade. Without plan, you're giving away your holding out of you. The one lesson I learned about trading  is plans is very important. At the same time patience.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Decentralized Application (Dapp) on: November 06, 2019, 04:42:56 AM
I'm curious about storing our assets online, mostly online wallets. Do you think there's possibility the developer collect our address, especially our private key?
I usually store my coins on a paper wallet and we all know storing in a cold wallet is the safer way to secure all assets.
Do you think it's secure to import our address to an app? Is there any identification of a real decentralized application to trust our keys.
20  Local / Pilipinas / [Tanong] Technical Analysis on: November 03, 2019, 03:49:14 AM

Meron ba satin dito ang full time trader?

Maraming salamat.
