I currently have about 16Th and mine on p2p pools using this as a guide for best node -

The top Node ALWAYS comes out as Elizium pool for me whenever i do i scan using it BUT when i look at other pools and they list -

'Payouts if a block were found NOW:'

I get HIGHER payouts on other nodes stated in the list of payout addresses ?

They are showing as -

So how accurate are these ?

Do i trust the scanner or the payouts listed on each node ??

I have accidentally damaged the damaged the LCD display on my Dragon miner LCD (REV 1.2) and now it has stopped working ??

The LCD is looks like a broken phone screen, white and black cracked.

None of the 4 blades are illuminating green at all ?

Surely this is just for dispaly purposes and should not effect mining BUT it obviously does ?

Anyone got any ideas

Apart from monitoring the 'node' or your wallet you are connected to to see when a block s found is there  'log' or somewhere else eg Blockchain where you can view/monitor or even look at the history of found blocks ?

I have a first generation 1Th Dragon miners with the LCD. The top fan connection has come loose from the board and i do not know if it connects to FAN 2 or FAN 3 connection on the PCB board ?

It is the bigger variable speed fan with 4 connections (not the smaller bottom fan with 2 connections that connects to FAN 1)

As you can see from pic below chain one has two 'x' on it.



This is causing my hashrate to go VERY random, from 0Gh to 2000Gh !!!!!!

Can i just remove the faulty card and lose 10% off my hashing power ?

I powered down my Antminer s2 just to move it to another location. I then powered it up and ALL i am getting is a red led (no green at all) PLUS just a blank backlit disply with nothing else on it !!!!!

It is not connectable via it's ip address of 192.168.1.99, plus i have tries all others on my network via Angry IP.

Anyone got any ideas please

I mine on GHash.IO and have several Dragon Miners that ALWAYS shown -

Stale shares - varies
Low - always zero
Duplicate  - always zero

Difficulty is set to 256k on the miner settings and at the pool.

I have just added a an Antminer s2 with the same pool details, it has no option on the miner settings to adjust the difficulty but the pool is the standard 256.

BUT it is the ONLY miner displaying duplicate shares eg 1024 or much higher ?

What does this mean ? Do i need to adjust anything ??

I just had my first Antminer S3+. Logged into it via 192.168.1.99. Changed to static IP 192.168.1.86 (i have other Dragon/Avalon miners).

I have added workers to the EXACT same way i have done with my Dragon miners, then entered the pool address/workername/password in Antminer Configuration BUT i am getting no connetions to pool Plus nothing showing in miner status



Anybody got any ideas please ?

I have x11 Dragon miners with static IP addresses on my local network going from 192.168.1.99 downwards so there are no conflicts.

When i try to connect to a miner all i am getting is blank white screen (google chrome) ??

I have also tried Windows Explorer  but get same result ??

If i do a scan with an IP scanner it detects EVERYTHING perfectly on my network.

Anyone help !!!

I have a few Dragon 1Th miners and have just purchased a Bitmain AntMiner S3+ (Batch 10) with these detail -

'The S3+, is a revised version of S3 running stably at 453GH/s (frequency=225 MHz), while consumes 355 Watt power at the wall. Most miners will be able to run up to 500GH/s but not guaranteed. Over-clocking can be achieved directly from a drop-down list in the user interface.'

Would you guys recommend overclocking it ? Is there a guide here on how to do it ??

At the moment i only have a Corsair 750w PSU (left over from GPU mining !!!)

I have been mining BTC for a while and have 30 BTC in 3 seperate encrypted wallets using Multibit on my laptop, i tend to open a new encrypted wallet after i reach approx 10 BTC (after being advised on here).

I also have been advised to back up ALL data in - C>users>acer>appdata>roaming>multibit>multibit.wallet.

I do this EVERYTIME i add another wallet and save the data to 3 usb sticks.

What worries me is that if my laptop develops a fault and i can not access Multibit on it then i have no access to my coins and NO IDEA how to recover them on another machine even after searching on here !!!!

Can anyone advise me if my method is safe and how would i go about recovering my coins if my laptop breaks...

I have approx 16Th on Ghash pool and was getting around 0.22/0.2 BTC in 24 hours.

How can i easily monitor the current difficulty or when it cganges without having to go into a miners settings ?

Is there a website or similar ??
