This thread is for publishing press releases of Catcoin Team 3 (unofficial), and constructive discussions of Catcoin.
The rules are simple. Any courteous, constructive comments are welcome. Fun cat and Catcoin memes are welcome. Memes that address leadership principles are welcome as long as they address ideas and not refer to specific people. If you have criticisms to make, please take take the time to make sure it is framed positively and address the substance of the ideas and not attack the people who have put forth ideas. Within this thread, it is understood that the technical parameters for the coin are already established and ideas about revising them is not within bounds for this thread. Nothing contained in this thread is represented as being the official action of the official development team. This thread can be utilized by Catcoin holders who wish to take constructive steps to move Catcoin forward, and prefer to work independently of the official development team.
Disclosure: The author of this thread has received adverse action by the enforcement officer of the official development team of Catcoin for presumed violation of some rule. The nature of the charge is unclear to this author at this time. Previously, press releases for Catcoin Team 3 (unofficial) were made into the main Catcoin thread, but this is no longer possible, so it has become necessary to create a separate thread. The author of this thread respects the authority of the official development team to announce and manage any official actions relating to the coin, and nothing in this thread is intended to contradict this. The official development team has exclusive jurisdiction over official action of the coin management, but inherently has no jurisdiction over independent initiatives originating within the Catcoin community that do not overstep the bounds of the activities of the official team. The author encourages anyone who is able to work with the official development team to volunteer to work with them first, and only encourage independent work only when coordination with the official team proves impractical.
About Catcoin: Catcoin (CAT) with its genesis block on December 23, 2013, is the first cat-themed meme coin released in response to the original release of Dogecoin. Its maximum coin supply is capped at 21 million, has a target block time of 10 minutes, and experiences block reward halving every 210,000 blocks just like with Bitcoin (BTC). It is historically the first PoW coin to implement PID in civilian application.
