1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitstamp support on weekends? on: March 08, 2014, 07:09:23 PM
Hey everyone,  I made a withdraw request Thursday night and Friday morning woke up to an email from bitstamp support requesting additional information despite my being verified.  I have to assume its just based on trade volume, but that's besides the point.

My actual question revolves around the fact that since I replied 2 hours after getting the email, I haven't heard back from the support team yet, and I was just wondering if they worked weekend hours or if I shouldn't expect a response before Monday?

Kindly let me know so I can plan accordingly.  Thanks guys.

6  Economy / Service Discussion / CampBX Verification - How long typically? on: October 22, 2013, 01:36:43 AM
I am trying to get verified on campbx so i can with draw my account balance there.  i mesaged support on either Thursday or Friday and was told:

Thank you,

However here it is Monday and I haven't heard from them since.

Should I be worried or just try and be patient?

8  Economy / Service Discussion / [RESOLVED] Bitinstant support turnaround time? on: February 07, 2013, 02:19:06 AM
Hi all, I made a typo in my bit-instant transaction when entering my paypal email.  I know the payment didn't go through because the email i accidently typed was unregistered on paypal/not in use anywhere.  Anyway I contacted bitinstant support to ask them to cancel the pending transaction and resend the money to the correct email.  Initially i heard back in under a minute.  Seth contacted me right away to ask for more details...however once i sent the information things went silent.  Now i know i'm being anxious and it's only been about an hour and a half, but i was hoping that someone could just inform me what the regular turnaround time for bitinstant support tickets is.

Thanks.

I would also like to reiterate that this was MY mistake, not bitinstant's and I appreciate them working with me to resolve it.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Yet ANOTHER MtGox thread... on: June 08, 2012, 11:57:32 PM
Alright, i made 2 withdrawal requests for wire transfers.

1.Withdraw      Status: confirmed   $592.88000
2.Withdraw    Status: confirmed   $395.24000

These have been sitting as "confirmed" for about a week.  MtGox will only say

"We have looked at your Withdraw status and see that it is in confirmed status. Meaning it is in the last step before becoming fully processed to your bank. It should reflect into your account balance within 3-5 business days. Please let us know if it takes longer than 5 business days."

To some of you traders out there this amount would not be a big deal, but its pretty significant for me.

this is completely and 100% unacceptable that a wire transfer would take this amount of time.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Check your tradehill accounts on: August 18, 2011, 09:26:22 PM
I don't know what's going on here, maybe it's a completely isolated incident to me, but anyway let me tell you what happened.  About 24 hours ago i initiated a transfer from tradehill to paxum.  Then I let it go figuring it would take some time.  Then about 45 minutes ago I checked paxum, nothing there, so I tried to log into tradehill, and it wasn't accepting my log in credentials...so out of curiosity i tried to re-register with the EXACT same credentials, and it worked.  This of course means that my old account, which was supposed to be transferring $340+ USD to paxum no longer exists in the database or my attempt to register would not have gone through.

Anyway, the point is, please check your tradehill accounts and post here if this happened to you aswell so i can figure out if its just me.

EDIT~

Darren and the programmers of trade hill have helped immensely in the resolution of this issue, and i believe they will have it resolved soon.
11  Economy / Currency exchange / [TRADE] Tradehill/paxum USD for paypal/dwolla USD on: August 16, 2011, 02:20:11 PM

13  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / What kind of connection/hardware would i need to host a pool? on: June 17, 2011, 10:33:00 AM
Hi all, maybe you've been to the selling forum and noticed I am trying to sell a web server, but i have had a thought.  Maybe I should keep it and host a pool from it.  But then the question arises, what kind of hardware/internet connection would be required for this?   sorry if this has been asked before.

(Yes i posted this in pools forum too)

16  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Advice on Power supplies on: June 15, 2011, 10:00:36 AM
Hey bitcoiners, I've got a bit of a problem here and was hoping you could assist me.  I'm planning on upgrading my single Nvidia GTX580 to 4 (yes four) AMD 6970's in my primary rig.  Now, the problem is, my power supply, while rock solid, is only 850W  and with a solid state, a hard drive, 12GB of ram, an i7 970, and an asus rampage extreme all in there, newegg's Calculator told me, very clearcut, that i should have 1650W... wait, what?  1650W?   they dont even come that big, so i'm turning to you miners, what the heck do i do?  do i stick with my 850W power supply and buy like 2 supplementary PSU's @ 450W each to power my gpu's?  I'm at a loss here and welcome your input.

Cheers!
17  Other / Obsolete (selling) / [For sale] Dual Quad-Core Raid 10 24GB ECC RAM webserver on: June 15, 2011, 04:26:39 AM
Hi all, My server isn't paying for itself so i want to sell it off before it depreciates any further.  here are the specs.

I built it with THIS Barebone kit.

I used two of THESE Processors

It has 4 of THESE hard drives

Also it has 24 GB of THIS RAM

I didn't buy it long ago and its in great shape, only thing is it has no DVD drive so the OS has to be installed from a flash drive (or you could spend $40 and buy a drive, it has a place for it.)

I would ideally like to get $1500 USD in btc for it.

Also the hard disks are in raid 10 & it has centos installed (i can put whatever you want on it for you)
18  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Airsoft Stuff on: June 15, 2011, 02:40:25 AM
Up for sale is one Robinson Armament Full Metal XCR Airsoft Gun Manufactured by Echo 1.  I used this gun once and LOVED IT.  However I have recently run into some financial trouble and need to sell off all my luxury items. (You might think btc are luxury, but im just going to cash them out so it doesnt matter.

What Does it come with?
4 x MagPul PTS M16 E-Mag 120rds Mid Capacity Magazine
1 x Madbull SureFire 6.72" Quick Detach Barrel Extension
1 x AIM Sports Fiber Optic 4x32 Red/Green Dot Tactical Compact Scope (needs a new battery, but I'm sending the old battery with it so you can see what to buy)
1 x SOCOM Gear 11.1V 1500mah LiPo Mini Battery Package (Battery, Charger & Liposack) (Doesn't Fit in the stock battery box, but a new battery box should only run about 10 bucks)
1 x Robinson Armament Full Metal XCR by Echo1 Airsoft Gun

That's about $850 worth of airsoft gear so get on this deal before its gone.

Note:  THIS IS NOT A REAL FIREARM

33.5 BTC at current ($19.4) rate.  Amount in btc subjust to change to make it equal no less than $650.

let me know!!!

also worth mentioning. this does NOT have a blaze orange tip...because i cant find the one it came with.

Is my price too high?  tell me!
