1  Other / Beginners & Help / HELP. Jr member to a newbie. on: September 29, 2018, 10:24:09 AM
Hello admins,

As you can see my activity is more than 30, which is required for anyone to become a junior member. However, it has become newbie rank. I don’t understand why this has happened. Has the ranking system changed? do I need to appeal for my rank? What do I do?

Kindly, someone help me out with this query. I don’t know what to do.

Thanks.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / How to know where to post? Had one post deleted. Help please. on: September 25, 2018, 07:12:43 AM
Hello Admins and dear users,

I don’t have some knowledge about this forum and how it works but recently I had a post deleted because I might have posted in a section where I shouldn’t have. I try to read as much as I can to learn about bitcointalk but the thing is that I don’t know what happens if another post of mine gets deleted. A friend of mine told me that if I get two posts deleted then my account will be banned. Is it true? Can I appeal for it to unban if it gets banned?

Kindly, help because these questions are confusing me. I have tried googling them but nothing came up that could clear my mind.

Thanks!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What is orphan block in TenUp - Urdu and English - Explained. on: September 03, 2018, 09:06:55 AM
Hello Everyone!

I get asked a lot about the meaning of orphan block rewards in the TenUp wallet. So I thought why not make a post about it. I’ll explain in English and Urdu so everyone gets my point.

Firstly, I thank Waqar Zaka and his team to establish Pakistan’s first registered cryptocurrency TenUp, TUP.
You can check them out on www.tenup.io

English Explanation

Now, the explanation. To understand what orphan blocks are, you need to understand a little about how blockchain works. Firstly, the blockchain is actually means a chain of blocks. So it’s like a single chain containing blocks rather than the knotted metals holding it together. What it means is that there is a chain of blocks, each containing its own number in the chain. For instance, block number 100 is the parent block and the next block that comes in line will be 101. So the 101 block is the child block. This is where the orphan blocks come into place. It is because staking wallets are constantly trying to solve the proof of stake algorithm, some times, two or more wallets staking might solve the same block number. For example if Three wallets solved block 101 then only one of them will be rewarded. What affects  the winner includes factors like number of coins staking, block height, and so on (let’s keep it simple).
“Orphan block” in red are the blocks created by the wallet on staking, which do not become the part of the block chain. However, some times, some orphan rewards might become normal rewards and their balance gets added up to your total balance.

Urdu Explanation

Blockchain ka Matlab hota hai k blocks ki bani hui chain. Is me 2  terms Bohot important hain. Pehle parent block aur doosra child block. Ye jo chain hoti hai blocks ki is ko is tarha Samjha ja sakta hai k har block aik parent block hota hai Aur us k baad anay wala child block keh lata hai. Jese number 100 block parent hai Aur is k baad no ayega number 101 block wo is ka child block hoga. Jab aap ka wallet staking per hota hai tou is ka kaam hota hai k 100 block ko solve kar k 101 block paida karay. Lekin agar esa ho raha hai k aap k bajaye 2 ya 3 wallets staking mode per saath hain Aur sab ne 101 block solve kiya same time per tou Sirf aik hi Wallet ko reward milega. Aur baaki wallets k block ko “orphan” bana diya jayega. In wallets me se winner Sirf aik hota Aur is winner ko chun’na kaafi saari cheezon Per depend karta hai. For example, block number, algorithm ki difficulty Aur kitnay coins staking per hain. Tou agar Kisi k paas 1000 coins staking per hain Aur agar kisi k pas 2000 coins staking per hain tou reward ziada coins walay ko milega Aur 1000 coins walay ka reward laal ho jayega. Shayad kabhi Ye bhi ho sakta hai k aap ke orphan blocks Kisi doosray user ki waja se normal reward ban jaye agar wo confirm kar den.

If you don’t understand something then ask me in the comments.

Agar kuch samajh me na aya ho tou pooch len.

Thanks for all your support.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / AMD RX 570 4GB memory - still usable after 3-4 months of mining? on: August 13, 2018, 11:57:07 AM
Hello Everyone,

I am a crypto enthusiast and I made a computer from scratch. Bought everything from Amazon and built the computer. After about 4 months, I stopped Mining because of the crypto going down. It's not that I will sell my crypto but I just wanted to learn how to make a computer and a mining computer so that was that. Now, I just want to get rid of my graphics card and the whole system I built. I used it for about 4 months using nicehash miner.

There are two things in my mind. First, do you think that just after 4 months of mining, my graphics card would be reduced in performance? Secondly, if anyone of you wants to buy it off me, let me know. I live in Bristol, England.

Thanks,
Asad.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Pakistan: the land of the engineers and TenUp. on: August 12, 2018, 02:58:15 PM
Hello,

The title might surprise some of you, however, the truth couldn’t be more accurate. People might think that Pakistan might be far behind in technology due to several reasons but that is not the case. Pakistan offers one of the best of cryptocurrency and blockchain experts in all fields from blockchain developers to financial advisors. From TV hosts such as Waqar Zaka to an average person like me, who is born and bred in Pakistan is a tech lover. Pakistan is one of the most philanthropist countries, where technologies like Cyberknife is used in health care for FREE for CANCER treatment. Just like this there is a lot of support from Pakistani people for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.

One of the best examples of a Pakistani using blockchain technology to help the poor can be seen by the life of Waqar Zaka. He is the pioneer of the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology within Pakistan. He has taught thousands of people about cryptocurrency, including myself, and made us profits by giving signals as when it was the appropriate time to invest and to cash out. To introduce his crypto journey, I’ll post some video links where he is telling about his life and how he helped out refugees around the globe from Syria to Rohingya Muslims.

Waqar the crypto influencer having verified social accounts and more followers than any other , the only crypto promoter having verified official story on Snapchat

We have all had our fair share of losses in crypto world. So legitimacy is a very essential factor prior investing in any token or coin regardless of what it is about. However, TenUp is one of the best coins by far. Their team is strong and they provide support on telegram and as I write this, they are building their community. I believe that the future of cryptocurrency is based upon the community and the community in Pakistan for TenUp is one of the best communities I’ve seen so far. As far as the legitimacy of TenUp goes, it is actually supported and backed up by physical property that will turn into a blockchain plaza in Sadar Market, Karachi, Pakistan.

It is the first Pakistani legal and registrated cryptocurrency that seems to have a bright future.

You never know, it could be the next bitcoin.

Thanks for reading.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Review about Revolut! Better than Coinbase and other exchanges. on: August 11, 2018, 12:55:57 PM
Hello Everyone,

I’m aware that my title could be offensive to some of the Coinbase fans out there but I downloaded the Revolut app yesterday. I had to send some money to Pakistan but it doesn’t allow that. However, I ended up sending money to USA WITHOUT any fees or charges. I simply topped it up with my Apple Pay and sent the money without any hassle.

Although, that’s good that they didn’t charge any fees. However, the fun part is that I was allowed access to Cryptocurrencies. It has five currencies as of now; bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bitcoin cash and ripple. Due to the fact that I’ve wtitre that Revolut is better than Coinbase is that I bought 105 USD worth of litecoin a week or two ago, which is now 65 USD due to the decrease in litecoin price. When I bough it from Coinbase, they charged me fee whereas Revolut didn’t charge me anything when I bought 13 GBP worth of litecoin just now. So there is no fees involved here. You can use it like you use any other exchange. Convert any cryptocurrency back into fiat currency and send it to your back. All done in less than 10 minutes.

It also has better rates than Normal banks when sending money oversees.

Thanks.
