81  Local / Servisler / Spark Profit - Borsa Tahmin Oyunu - (Bitcoin Kazandıran) on: June 22, 2015, 02:34:40 PM

Puanlarınızın %95'i bir sonraki haftaya devreder.

82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Catastrophe Scenario on Bitcoin Network on: June 11, 2015, 10:45:00 PM
All we know Chinese Miners have total 56% mining power[1] publicly. (There's 26% that we don't know who have it).
What if Chinese government decides to cut their internet connection from outside of the world? (You know such thing can be done, eg: north korea [2]) Or maybe an earthquake can cut their internet from backbone (maybe not all of it but most of it).
And as result of these scenarios ~50% of miners in China will still mine bitcoins in a local internet like a huge LAN. And rest of the world will mine in another bigger LAN but there'll be no connection between them.  Of course there'll be 2 different major forks.

After 1 month everything went normal. So there're 2 major forks of bitcoin network. How will we decide? Which one is legit chain? Both of them looks legit.

Possible solutions:
- Major mining farms should use secondary internet connection such as satellite connection. Which can be blocked by governments. But it's not affected (or minimally affected) by natural catastrophes.
That's why I support jgarzik's "bitcoin satellite project" [3]. Even if governments ban satellite connections which is provided by gov controlled ISP's; Personal satellite internet dishes can connect bitcoin satellites. There's a catch here, jgarzik's satellites will provide only blockchain (to distribute accepted blocks) they're not gonna be used for broadcasting block candidates.

84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How To Stake Efficiently PoS Coins on: May 05, 2015, 10:30:30 PM
This topic is quite controversial, and there're 2 sides of this one.
One side says; bigger tx's means bigger rewards
Other side says; smaller tx's, smaller but more often rewards.

And recently "DPoS" became popular. How to decide what's best way to stake more?

First of all you need to learn something: "min stake age" is very important!
How so?

Let's say I've mined xxcoin and I've total 10K and I got them at once to my wallet. I've waited 4 hours for the "min stake age". And it staked, quite good right? But there's a catch! You've to wait another 4 hours to stake again! Because when you create a pos block your input is divided into 2 tx's and it's age becomes zero.
So, if you're mining a pos coin; withdrew your coins at a time as 500,1000 etc.
After 1 hour your first withdrawal; you'll withdraw 2nd one and you'll get another 500 coin etc.
After your first tx created a pos block then your wallet won't wait for another 4 hours to stake again.

With DPoS I suggest; split them as much as you can. If one wallet has 1 x 10k tx and other one has 20 x 500 tx's
First wallet misses the DPoS coins after the first stake. But the second one will be able to create PoS coins because it has 19 aged tx's.

Also There's another issue: "Max Stake Age".
Let's say you've mined on the first day and PoW lasted 3 days; and PoS started after PoW. Min stake age is 4 hours and Max stake age is 1 day.
On the 3rd day your coins will be too aged and you won't be able to stake, Because they're too old to stake.
But you can easily solve this problem: Calculate the time;
For instance;
block time: 1 min
pow ends and pos starts at: 4k
min stake age: 4 hours.
current pow block: 3.5k

calculation: 4 hours = 60*4 = 240 blocks. So If you want to stake immediately you need to move your coins at (4000-240)= 3760th block or 1-2 early etc.

Finally; if there's a "min stake age" you need to split your inputs in case of starving.

First there were no blocks found for 1 hour 20 minutes.

Secondly, Most of last found blocks are "731 kb each".

Bonus: TripleMining found 2 blocks with 160-200 THS

What's really happening? I don't think that's ordinary, it's strange.

edit: Also Slush's pool couldn't find a single block for 18 hours with around 16 PHS...
86  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-04-09] ING: Mobile app use sees emergence of cashless society on: April 10, 2015, 01:53:07 PM
...
9. Future of spending online? Digital currencies not seen as the answer
Bitcoin, launched in 2009, is arguably the most high-profile of several digital currencies that have existed. However, few people in Europe see digital currencies – such as bitcoin – as “the future of spending online”.

Of people in Europe, 72% either disagree with that statement or do not have an opinion about it, a slight drop from 76% from the ING International Survey on Mobile Banking 2014. Turkey, Italy, Spain and Poland are among the countries where acceptance is highest. These countries also have a higher share which say they have used bitcoin in the past 12 months.
 10. Media hype makes bitcoin attractive but awareness still low

Bitcoin is arguably the most high profile digital currency and has been the topic of media attention, academic studies and the term was even added to the Oxford Dictionaries Online in August 2013. Despite this, use and awareness of the decentralised cryptocurrency remains low among most people in Europe. When asked if they have used bitcoin in the past 12 months, 26% of people in Europe say they have not and 49% say they don’t know what bitcoin is. Only 4% in Europe say they have used it in the last year.

Turkey is home to the highest share who say they have used bitcoin in the past 12 months, followed jointly by the United States and Italy, then Poland and Spain. When asked why they had used it, answers varied. An Austrian man, aged 33, wrote: “I found it interesting to concern myself with it (was curious after there were media reports about it again and again).” An Italian woman, 29, had an app that uses bitcoin to recharge her mobile phone. A French man, 51, wrote: “I had to buy things on the dark net.” A Dutch man, 74, received it as a gift. When others were asked why they did not use bitcoin, responses included an Australian woman, 69, who wrote, “I have heard bad publicity about it” and an American man, 30, who noted, “I have no idea how to access it”.

Full press release & survey results: http://www.ing.com/Newsroom/All-news/NW/Mobile-app-use-sees-emergence-of-cashless-society.htm

I'm shocked BTW, Turkey is the top of Bitcoin usage in Europe.
I think this result high because of cointellect scam. There were lots of people who joined this scam from Turkey, and learned about bitcoin/dogecoin...
87  Economy / Service Discussion / [SUGGESTION] To The Signature Campaign Managers - Payout Address Changes on: April 06, 2015, 11:13:44 PM
If a user wants to change payout address on a campaign you should ask for a signed message with old address.
That prevents users funds from hacking. Let's say X hacked some hero member's account on a signature campaing who earned 0.15 BTC in a week, and X comes to thread and says "hey please change my address to that one". If the campaign manager don't ask for signed message that Hero member will loose that money.

I'm asking to the campaing managers to consider that condition.

Ps: I've posted this suggestion on the Dadice campaign, posting here for more publicity.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / May 51% Attack Achieved Cheaper? on: March 25, 2015, 10:53:34 PM
Here's a scenario about 51% Attack and it may be achieved cheaper (maybe the cheapest).

First of all, we need botnet, so we're creating porn sites etc to create a botnet; or we already have one. At least 1 million zombie PCs.
Secondly, we're detecting all stratum ip's and ports of major pools etc. Let's say we've found 1000 of them and that's equal to 95% of the network hashrate.
Preparing for attack:
Calculating the next diff retarget block. Let's say it's gonna be on 350.000th block.
When the miners found 349.999th block we start a ddos attack on those stratums to reduce the network HS. When the 350.000th block found Diff should be lowered to 5% of the previous diff.

Before the attack we had 300 phs network hs but now we have 5% of it so it's 15 phs. (We're still ddos'ing other pools)
We need 16 phs to gain 51% of the network. Let's say we have it.
And so we may achieve 51% attack cheaper...

What do you think about that scenario? Can it be achieved or not? If not why?

90  Economy / Scam Accusations / [WARNING] about BTC-flow on: February 12, 2015, 09:56:20 PM
Hello guyz, First of all I'm not releated to this shit.

I want to remind you just 1 thing this site is not even a ponzi; it looks like ponzi but not.
This scam is called "pay to work for less than you paid". Basically you pay X but you get Y where X>Y.

Let's examine this shit's payment plan:

You need to pay BTC-flow shit 0.05 BTC to upgrade level 2.
What's level 2's Lifetime? it's around 10 days (1/3 of a month).
What's level 2's monthly income? it's around 0.150 BTC right?
If you be online 7/24 during 10 days and claim every 50 minutes you'll get 0.05 BTC back. Wait what?! it was your initial investment!
Let's say you sleep 8 hours a day. So you'll get 2/3 of your investment around 0.033 BTC.
What did you do?
You invested "0.05 BTC and got back only 0.033 BTC" so you "paid to work".

Don't get fooled for free BTC that they're giving away for 2 days. They're basically scammer.

ps: I'm not saying don't claim free 1200 satoshi every 8 minutes. I'm saying that "DON'T INVEST" you'll loose btc for sure.

93  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Open Source Hardware Wallet Project on: December 18, 2014, 09:01:52 PM
Hello guys, I propose to create "Open Source Hardware Wallets" project.

There're lots of "open source embedded mini computers" like arduino, raspberypi etc.
Also those mini computers run linux distros.
Why don't we develop an "open source hardware wallet"?

I think we can develop 3 types of those wallets:

Open Source Hardware Wallet Mini;
A raspberrypi ~40$ (to run multibit etc lightweight wallet, because of lack of memory to save blockchain data)
Camera module: ~30$ (to read qr codes)
Mini LCD: ~15$ (to show balance etc)
Numeric Keypad: ~5$ (to unlock wallet, pin entering would be vulnerable)
Wifi adapter: ~10$  (to download blockchain only)
simcard reader: ~10$ (to broadcast tx'es only)

~110$

Open Source Hardware Wallet Standard;
A raspberrypi ~40$ (to run bitcoin-core wallet)
Camera module: ~30$ (to read qr codes)
Mini LCD: ~15$ (to show balance etc)
Fingerprint scanner: ~50$ (to unlock wallet, pin entering would be vulnerable)
Wifi adapter: ~10$  (to download blockchain only)
simcard reader: ~10$ (to broadcast tx'es only)
64 GB microSD card: ~15$ (to save blockchain data)

~170$

Open Source Hardware Wallet Plus;
Gps (if you loose/are stollen wallet, it sends location data via simcard, and you can send a command via sms to wallet and it starts to send GPS data to you via simcard).
RFID/NFC etc - (if bitcoin companies develop a pay&pass system with one click, these units can be added on it).

Probably ~250$

What do you think about a hardware wallet that you can completely rely on? How can it be developed further?

Ps: I'm not selling any hardware wallet or releated parts. I'm not planning to sell this kinda product.  Anyone can create/develop similar projects, I don't develop such thing right now, This is just a thought.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Proof Of Faucet Concepts And It's Vulnerability on: December 10, 2014, 10:12:32 PM
Hi We all meet "Proof of Faucet" concept with MiracleCoin as all we know it's worthless now, but it sill has a value.
Then A second POF coin appeared that named "Find You Coin" which is already a trash.

I want to reveal a Vulnerability about this concept.

As you know these faucet distrubitions are just "senseless". Why? Because it can be easily manipulated, Why? Because it's only checking client's ip address.

How to collect more coin with just one pc?
First of all I downloaded and synced FindYouCoin's wallet.
Then I copied blockchain data from %appdata%\FindYouCoin to
D:\FindYouCoin
D:\FindYouCoin2
D:\FindYouCoin3
D:\FindYouCoin4 ... etc.
I deleted wallet.dat file in these folders.

Then, I created a few shortcuts to my original Wallet executable like these;

C:\Users\Username\Desktop\FindYouCoin-qt.exe -datadir=D:\FindYouCoin -proxy=ip2:port2
C:\Users\Username\Desktop\FindYouCoin-qt.exe -datadir=D:\FindYouCoin2 -proxy=ip3:port3
C:\Users\Username\Desktop\FindYouCoin-qt.exe -datadir=D:\FindYouCoin3 -proxy=ip4:port4 ... etc.

Then I started all wallets. All of them got coins from faucet distrubition because all of them were seen as a diffrent users' wallets.
This concept doesn't check for proxys...

And I dumped all of coins from distrubition. I'm not going to answer how much btc I got.

I opened this thread to warn everybody about these type coins.

Developers may disable -proxy parameter of the wallet in case of this kinda abuse.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How To Decide To Invest/Trade Altcoins? on: December 07, 2014, 06:09:06 PM
Hi, I want to share How I invest altcoins.

First of all I'm frequently checking Ann threads on this subsection: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

This link shows the most viewed topics; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0;sort=views;desc

Most viewed topic is Darkcoin's: 2334221 (now) and post count is: 75569
Show/Post ratio is: 30.89 (Low is good)

Then I'm checking the price chart; it should be look like a sinus wave (Which has ups and downs)
It's like that: https://coinplorer.com/Charts/DRK/USD

So I'm deciding to invest some money on DRK

Last 24 hours; low price 0.0061 btc highest 0.0064 btc.

I'm bidding lowest price and selling at highest price.

Basic Rules;
Never invest low trade volume coins.
Never invest non sinus price chart coins.
Never invest Show/Post ratio > 100 coins.
Never invest If there's FUD in the altcoin's ann thread's last posts.

Main Rule: Never invest you can't afford to loose.

You may share your methods etc.

Promosyonlar dışında;

Ödemeler;
Ödemeleri haftalık yapıyorlar ve her pazar ödeme yapıyorlar (sanırım pazartesi gecesine sarkıyor TSİ).
Hash satın almadan 100Ghs'yi aktif edebilirsiniz ama ödeme alamazsınız.
İlk ödemeyi 30 kasım'da yapacaklar, tx id'yi eklerim konuya.

Not: Sisteme deneme amaçlı üye oldum, 45mbtc riske ettim, şu anki ödemelere göre 30 günde çıkartabilmem gerekiyor yatırımımı. Ama kazılan/ödenen tutar düşerse ROI maksimum 2 ay'ı bulur diye tahmin ediyorum. Bekleyip göreceğim Smiley
