1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which payout system? on: February 03, 2014, 07:15:42 AM
I'm currently mining DOGE on netcodepool but my payout seems somewhat low compared to CoinWarz estimates.

My mining speed is about 1.4MHs but it varies since I move my computers around the house during the day so as not to make my room a sauna. I also sometimes turn off one GPU to play games.

Would it better for me to join a PROP pool as opposed to a PPLNS?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Gigbatye 7950 REV2.0 temperatures on: January 16, 2014, 06:09:22 AM
So I lapped my heatsink this arvo and my temps dropped 1-5C to ~77C with a 20-25% reduction in fan speed from 100%. Ambient is maybe 25+C? Clocks are 1100/1250.
This is the 1.25V core version of the 7950.

Is this about right for my GPU?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What happening with DOGE? on: January 04, 2014, 12:32:59 AM
I went to sleep last night and the price was 0.0000059 DOGE/BTC
Woke up this morning and the price was 0.0000038 DOGE/BTC - much sad much loss

What happened to going to the moon?

Edit: Thanks for the responses. I would really like for DOGE to bounce back up to at least 50 satoshi's before I sell :/
I added a poll, please vote Wink
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / HD 7950 - really high power consumption on: January 03, 2014, 01:25:19 PM
I have a Gigabyte 7950 WF3 in a rig and it draws almost 400W(!!). The rest of the hardware is low power.

Some low-end 775 mobo + E6300 (dual 1.86GHz) + 3GB ram + IDE hdd

Yes it is the locked 1.25V version (hardware locked it seems) and I should expect higher power but 400W is a bit high...

Thoughts?

Thanks
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Deleting mining pool accounts on: December 29, 2013, 01:09:22 PM
I realised that I have heaps of unnecessary pools in my miner config file.

Is there a way I can delete my unwanted accounts on mining pools? If not, is there any risk in leaving it there?

Thanks
