Newbie here. Altcurrencies have interested me for a while and I have been browsing this forum but never ever posted anything so this is my first post!

I did a bit of browsing on various cryptocurrency forums and I came across this coin called SolarCoin (http://solarcoin.org/). There does not seem to be any sort of announcement thread here on bitcointalk forums and was wondering have any of you guys looked into this coin and what you think about it.
