Bitcoin Enhanced is a crypto-currency that enhances the value of Bitcoin by forecasting when its price is likely to fall.

How it works?

Bitcoin Enhanced tracks percentage change in Bitcoin prices until there is a signal that Bitcoin prices are likely to fall. Bitcoin Enhanced then simulates “shorting” Bitcoin, in effect betting that Bitcoin prices will fall. When the forecast period is over Bitcoin Enhanced simulates going “long” Bitcoin again and continues to track the percentage change in Bitcoin prices. The gain/loss of being short Bitcoin during the forecast period is expressed as a multiplier to the Bitcoin price.

Trustless Forecasts
A forecast for a period of falling prices is made before the period begins. The forecast is published on a time-stamped forum such as Facebook in an encrypted form. Once the forecast period is over the key is publically provided on the same forum so that the times of the forecast can be decrypted. This method of encryption/decryption on a public time stamped forum verifies that the forecast was genuine in that it was made before the event.

Secret Sauce
Bitcoin Enhanced creates value through its ability to successfully forecast periods when Bitcoin prices are likely to fall. It does this by using Phi/ Φ in greek, the irrational number 1.618…, also called the Golden Ratio or Golden Mean. Phi describes how systems develop. This is not only true of plants and animals, but also man-made systems such as a Boeing aircraft, the approval rating of Presidents and commodity prices.


This is more than a promising project. This is the way to protect BTC aura in common sense while enhanching its value in order to have profits while it will keep going up... and down  Wink

I am 24 years old, about 1 year in the cryptoworld and currently reside in northern Greece. I am enrolled in the applied informatics department of University of Macedonia for 7 years now, but working full time does not allow you unfortunately to study in your own pace.
Anyway, the point is the following. For the past year, habits/mood/motivation/dreams have changed. I see before me a new world unfolding with unlimited potential. I know with certainty that I can not yet feel or see the exact size of the impact BTC and blockchain technology in general will have in our lives, but I embrace the idea that they are going to be the new normal and I like that. However, I have not yet reached the important point. Together with some friends who share the same cryptopassion, formatted a team in which we devote ourselves daily in the crypto terrain. We are decided to preach blockchain technology in Greece, even though we are in a primitive stage in this sector. The reason of this post is to raise help, awareness, arguments, on how to build a community/team/etc(?) in which we will spread the cryptoideas. We aim in making presentations in local companies and public entities to make them understand the new unfolded world before their feet.

Any comment, proposal, help would be very useful. My post even though it seems quite messy, I would like to reassure everyone that we are commited, as a team, in this project.

I have some thoughts about the future of cryptocurrencies. At some point, even if they do not get to be regulated, still the countries will have somehow their own digital currencies issued. How do we make sure that BTC will dominate the respective national cryptos of each country? Or BTC will eventually turn entirely into an asset, leaving space for other currencies as means of payment?

what is your opinion over XLM/VET? Honestly, I believe they are two of the most valuable and promising projects from every altcoin. Any arguments on whether or not they are going to establish themselves as payments tool in the near future?
I honestly believe that XLM platform will liberate everyone from all these unecessary fees and time waste.
