hi
I have running 3 x sapphire 7950
I tried many configs
I can get it on around 600kh/s but then allways freezes
the fastest a littlebit stable I get it is this

I currently use this config

,
"intensity" : "13,13,13",
"vectors" : "1,1,1",
"worksize" : "256,256,256",
"kernel" : "scrypt,scrypt,scrypt",
"lookup-gap" : "0,0,0",

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / fan speeds on: February 11, 2014, 08:47:53 PM
hi
I currently run this

"intensity" : "19,19,19",
"vectors" : "1,1,1",
"worksize" : "256,256,256",
"kernel" : "scrypt,scrypt,scrypt",
"lookup-gap" : "0,0,0",
"thread-concurrency" : "0,0,0",
"shaders" : "0,0,0",
"gpu-engine" : "1080,1080,1080",

"gpu-powertune" : "0,0,0",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000,0.000,0.000",
"temp-cutoff" : "95,95,95",

"scan-time" : "30",
"scrypt" : true,
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shares" : "0",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

now the fans are noisy

I tried removing this line
"gpu-fan" : "0-85,0-85,0-85",

then I believe it should increase the fan when it goes over 65degrees
"temp-target" : "65,65,65",

however that didn't work they went quickly up to 70+ without the fans going any higher?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 3 x 7950 but different kh/s on: February 07, 2014, 09:17:15 PM
hi
I have build a rig with 3 x sapphire 7950
all cards have same config
but all 3 cards give diferent kh/s

how is this possible?

I already swapped cards, riser but its allways the same slot that's lower speed
could it be motherboard problem?

4  Other / Beginners & Help / scrypt ram on: January 10, 2014, 01:51:30 AM
hi
I understood for scrypt ram was not important

but reading

Note that it is a ram dependent
workload, and requires you to have enough system ram as well as fast enough
GPU ram. If you have less system ram than your GPU has, it may not be possible
to mine at any reasonable rate.

when I go over intensity 12 I start seeing hw errors

I have 2gb ram and have this card

MSI R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC BE G Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express

does that mean I need more ram?

also when using 3 of these cards howmuch ram I will need?
and would a 800w powersupply be enough?
5  Other / Beginners & Help / many hw errors on: January 09, 2014, 08:43:41 PM
I am getting many hw errors
100s a minute
why?

windows7 32bit

card MSI R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC BE G Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express

bat
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

cgminer.exe --scrypt --auto-fan --temp-target 80 --temp-cutoff 90 -o x:3333 -u x.x -p x --shaders 80 --intensity 12 --worksize 256 -g 1
6  Other / Beginners & Help / no opencl sdk installed on: January 08, 2014, 11:17:17 PM
i am using windows7
I installed the catalyst
but when opening cgminer I get error -1001: clgetplatformids failed (no opencl sdk installed?)

also when running the windows performance I get subscore 1.0 for aero and gaming graphics

the  card I have is
MSI R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC BE G Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express

its working since the monitor works on it?

whats the problem?

also when looking in config I see "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
this is Linux

what I need to put for windows7?

9  Other / Beginners & Help / 7950 vs 7970 on: January 04, 2014, 01:27:11 AM
hi
I found instead of 7950 a 7970
XFX Radeon HD 7970 Video Graphics Card 3 GB PCI-Express X16 Interface DDR5

would this 7970 be better then the 7950?

how are these 2 compared?

7970 should be doing 700Kh/s?
