1  Economy / Economics / suggestion: Bitcoin trading more stabilised on: July 21, 2014, 02:55:47 PM
Hi

Ive been watching this bitcoin price go up and down and everytime it seems that bots are moving the price up and down.

I dont have any btc on any exchange so I dont know how it actually works but to me it seems that following are true (based on just watching the price)

1. One person/entity can have multiple buy/sell orders at the same time?

2. there are fake buy and sell walls, just to move the price to some direction, without actual want to buy or sell?

3. there are no fees/provision on setting the order?

As there is intention to adjust the price with fake orders, can we prevent this. Sometimes walls disappear on the fly and some "fish" get caught this way on high/low price etc.

My proposition is very simple:

There should be minimum amount of time that the order stays on for example bitstamp. One could set the order at any time, but then it would stay on the site for say 24 hours or at least 1 hour. No removal during this "just making sure that this offer is real deal" time period.

I think this would help bitcoin overall and I think on "real money/interest/loan exchanges" manipulating the market is actually forbidden. Im not saying that this would remove all of manipulation but perhaps some.

Forgive my bad english if found on the message

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin on navigator or on googlemaps on: May 03, 2014, 01:07:56 PM
Hi

Wonder if there is navigators for cars or mobile phones that show different ways of payment on screen when driving? What I would like to see is places that accept bitcoin on navigator map.

Can one set googlemap attributes so that it would show bitcoin accepting places? Myself im unable to use googlemaps for variety of reasons so cant check it myself.. Cheesy

Would this be possible to be made somehow? I think it would require huge database where every merchant that wants itself listed on it (or their payment processors).

This would tremendously help people get into the places where it is possible to use bitcoin. Planning a route for trip based on bitcoin friendliness would be great.

Sorry if this kind of service exists and Im asking dumb questions

Let me hear what you think!
3  Bitcoin / Pools / Blocks by unknown on: April 13, 2014, 06:59:21 PM
It looks like unknown blocks are about 45% of network. This seems quite high as if there are some commercial miners shouldnt they automaticly announce what ips are theirs etc?

5  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: november jupiter / saturn asics on: March 27, 2014, 11:22:27 AM
Hi

Saturn could fit 4 more i think, so if you have these for sale, i would be interested. Must be 100% cores working, 8 vrm version. November batch only as  i have november controller board.

Im prepared to pay 1 btc each. Preferably in Finland, or within europe.
6  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: November Saturn or modules on: March 20, 2014, 03:39:16 PM
My offer is as follows:

asic-modules 100% cores working, november batch (as i have november controller board with 2 asics allready) 1 BTC/module.

Preferably in finland, face to face pickup. or Shipped to finland from eu ( not tax, vat etc.)

I dont know if its possible to use october modules with november batch but my offer woudl be accordingly lower, like 0,75 btc / october batch module. (if it is not possible to use both batches mixed then im not interested in october batch asics)

Hit me with offer, escrow would be best I think.

11  Other / Beginners & Help / bitfury m-board on: January 15, 2014, 04:02:15 PM
Hi

New to this bitcointalk.org, altough i have been looming around as a visitor quite long now. Wonder if there's any place to get hand on bitfury m-board "the old model".

I think m-board V3 doesn't work with v1.2 h-boards, is this correct?

thanks in advance
