1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Looking for collaboration on dev work on: June 23, 2018, 10:20:40 AM
Hey,

It's been long since my last post and everyone must've forgotten by now. I was on an extended break because of high school getting tougher. Now that I've graduated from senior year, I look forward to getting back into the crypto dev space at least until college starts. Some of previous projects include a stratum SHA-256 miner written from scratch, first Gpu miner for keccak and momentum among others.

Looking forward to any replies!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / arcMiner - alpha - New stratum miner from scratch - Linux and Windows on: June 27, 2015, 09:57:43 AM
The reason I made arcMiner is because all existing stratum miners I knew about had a very messy code base and were very hard hard to compile in windows. arcMiner has a completely different code base which is supposed to be clean and easy to read and understand so that other developers who have are struggling with stratum can understand it easily.

Right now it only supports scrypt with stratum but in future it should be able to support xpt and multiple POW like keccak etc.

This shouldn't be of much interest to normal users.

Compile instructions for linux are up at github
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Seeking your help with an exciting new project on: June 10, 2014, 03:28:11 AM
I am currently working on an exciting and innovative new project that will hopefully be beneficial to all of us, I want to keep the finer details of this under wraps until I have carried out further development and research.

For now, I need some basic information that will help me create a table of GPU by model and their hashing power when used with different algorithms and miner versions.

If you could please let me know the following, I would really appreciate it:

Please edit the spreadsheet on http://goo.gl/Qdkw2C

You can add any more algorithm if you know.

Thank you for all your help, hoping to create something New and Exciting for you…..
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Stratum network code on: February 09, 2014, 05:02:03 AM
hi,

Is there any open source project which has a bare bones stratum implementation compatible with maxcoin?

Hi,

I am looking to build a mining rig, my budget is at max 3,00,000
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / arOpenCLMAX v0.1b - MAX coin OpenCL miner - Works with AMD, NVIDIA XPT - 1GH! on: February 07, 2014, 03:27:58 PM
Hi,

Default is Ypool.

1GH works too!

Arguments
-u : Username on pool
-p : Password on pool
-d : device list eg. 0,1,2
-f : fee% for me, default is 1
-i : intensity of hashing, 1 or 2

Credits: Archit, jh00 and inspiration from girino and dga

http://www.mediafire.com/download/3b45wi8nplpa8ij

For those with the kernel error try running it using command line from the folder.

Default intensity is 1, high end cards should be faster on 2

Donations are welcome

Works on 1GH now! Still a little bugged off

Example command line-

Code:
-o  maxpool.1gh.com:17777 -u mdyhfsjL8sc2uPY81yLUqXhRWusrr6DU5S -p x
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / arCUDAminer 64 bit v1.0c - PTS GPU miner for Windows on: January 11, 2014, 01:02:50 PM
Original topic over at:https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2214.0

This doesn't work at all on AMD cards, if you are looking for that go here - https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2296.0

Requirements:
Nvidia GPU with Compute capability higher than 20
CPU with AVX/SSE4 (Not tested with AMD)
Latest Nvidia driver

I have only included the binaries for now, I will release the source code after I get a donation of 10 PTS. The miner mines 500 rounds for user and then 15 rounds to support developer. Default -o is ypool.net. Use highperf if you have more than 1.2 GB of GPU memory. Please note that SLI support is not tested yet.

Usage:
arCUDAminer.exe -u archit.pts_1 -p x -m avx -g 2

-g User only if more than 1 GPU eg.2
-u Worker
-p Worker password
-m avx or sse4(lower caps)

Why this?
