Informant to MH 17 unpacks

June 15, 2015, Jens Brambusch

Now comes the truth? The million-dollar reward for information on the shooting down of flight MH-17 led allegedly to success. Client and an informant should be in agreement.

The man who can provide evidence allegedly to shoot down the passenger plane MH-17 disappears on a folding bike. Right, left, small ways to narrow for a car could follow him. The Swiss is back and smiles. In his pocket, he plays with a torn dollar bill. His clients will be satisfied. He talked to the informants in private for 20 minutes. That was enough for him.

The Swiss is certain: This is the man, to whom they have been waiting for. Which they had put a million reward in prospect and will pay off. For evidence that can prove how the Enlightenment was obscured since
the launch of the aircraft on 17 July 2014 in which all 298 passengers
died.

"Our clients have got the information that they wanted to get," says Josef Resch. "So my job is finished." The Lübeck private investigator had already been paid out by the Swiss middlemen, against silence. The hardships of the past months have noted the 66-year-olds. Many threats were there. Against him, his staff, his family. Dubious meeting, flashy cars around him, people who followed him. An employee says: "We may have a political dimension to the contract underestimated at first."
The client remains anonymous

A slight dissatisfaction with swings. Still do not know Resch, who are his clients what they intend to do with the purchased information. He does not know their intention. Are its clients politically motivated? Or economically? Will someone just clarity? Or find a possible traitor, before he turns to others? Buying information, before they can do damage. He just do not know. And that gnaws at him.

In
September last year Resch was commissioned by a Swiss man, a reward for
information on the circumstances and on the groups behind the launch of
the MH 17 auszuloben: 30 million dollars. Had exposed more than the US authorities'm upside of Osama Laden then. Resch is known for his unorthodox methods of investigation, he operates in a legal gray area. He works with high rewards, relies on the greed of accomplices. Even the then volatile punters Florian Homm he has driven in this way for more than five years in hiding to the public.

But this time everything is different. He hunts no alleged fraudsters. His customers are not cheated investors, not corporations. It's a great unknown with a lot of money. And the enemies he makes, is powerful. The truth that he seeks maybe no one wants to hear. Because they could have the potential to trigger a political earthquake. Before
he accepts the order, it goes through your mind: "Maybe I should indeed
be only the useful Depp in a collusion." Nevertheless, he accepts the
order. "What can be bad about finding those guilty of the death of 298 people," he calms down. The fee wipes away the last doubts.
Who can you believe what?

In November 2014, the Swiss occur again approached him. "We need a second Edward Snowden," Resch says then. Someone from the services who could prove that the education is hampered. The know what should not be publicized. For this information the anonymous client provide an additional 17 million dollars.

Still the official international team of investigators has been able to provide any evidence led by the Netherlands. Even today, nearly a year after the disaster, is still not fixed, what exactly happened at noon of the 17th of July 2014.

There are only theories. Credible, and what looks strong after the conspiracy. The
most common and most plausible is that the machine has been brought on
its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur with a Russian ground-to-air
missile, a BUK from heaven. Whether Russian army personnel or pro-Russian separatists have fired it, remains unclear. Videos
and images that circulate on the net, should demonstrate how the BUK
system was brought from Russia in the Eastern Ukraine. And there, was fired on that Thursday around 13.20 clock. Media are on their way to the Ukraine, speak with alleged witnesses, research at venues. But who and what can you believe?

3 existing millions ... plus 2 millions announced ... will be hard to live in russia ....

All of this for Crimea annexion ...

Strange all Pro Poutine media, claims there is no crisis in Russia and everything is Ok.

Who lie ?

http://www.themoscowtimes.com/business/article/three-million-russians-fall-into-poverty-as-crisis-bites/523482.html

Quote from: Russia
More than 3 million Russians fell below the official poverty line in the first three months of this year as Russia's economy stumbled into a recession, state statistics service Rosstat said late last week.

The number of people living below the poverty line rose from 19.8 million in the first quarter of 2014 to 22.9 million in the same period of this year — a rise of 3.1 million, according to data from Rosstat.

The percentage of Russians living below the poverty line thereby rose to 15.9 percent of the total population in the first quarter, which is 2.1 percentage points more than in the same period last year, according to the statistics.

Earlier this month the Russian government set the minimum subsistence level for the first quarter, an indicator of poverty in Russia, at 9,662 rubles ($174) per month. This was an increase of 17.3 percent from the previous quarter, Rosstat said.

The cost of living in Russia has soared this year due to sharp inflation spurred by steep falls in the value of the ruble currency, which pushed up the cost of imported products and components.

Inflation spiked to 16.2 percent in the first quarter even as Russians' nominal incomes rose by only 11 percent, according to Rosstat.

Russia's economy is expected to contract by about 3 percent this year due to a plunge in the price of oil, Russia's main export, and Western sanctions imposed on Moscow over the Ukraine crisis.

3  Other / Politics & Society / Forensic Analysis of Satellite Images by the Russian Ministry of Defense on: June 02, 2015, 03:52:16 PM
In this new report Bellingcat examines satellite images released by the Russian Ministry of Defence as part of the July 21st 2014 press conference on the downing of Flight MH17.

The Russian MoD stated at the press conference that the satellite photos show the activities of Ukraine’s air defences on the day that Flight MH17 was shot down.

In particular, the position of two Ukrainian Buk missile launchers south of the village Zaroschinskoe were shown to be within firing range of MH17. The Bellingcat investigation has found the following –

– Satellite images presented by the Russian Ministry of Defence claiming to shown Ukrainian Buks linked to the downing of MH17 on July 14th and 17th are in fact older images from June 2014.
– The discrepancies visible in the Russian MoD satellite map imagery which shows they are incorrectly dated are visible in publicly available imagery on Google Earth.
– Error level analysis of the images also reveal the images have been edited.
– This includes a Buk missile launcher that was removed to make it appear the Buk missile launcher was active on July 17th, and imagery where Buk missile launchers were added to make it appear they were within attack range of Flight MH17.

When proof of false & fake information is showed ... the best reply is the lie.

Proof again that Russian lie ??

Take this picture (of army base A-1428), which the Russian Defense Ministry claimed was taken on July 14 :
http://stat.multimedia.mil.ru/images/military/military/photo/mh17_brief_04-900.jpg
Note that in the left upper corner there is a patch of trees visible, with a corridor in between.

Now open up GoogleEarth, and enter these coordinates in the search field :
” 48° 5’53.45″N, 37°45’14.80″E”
That leads you right to army base A-1428.
Then open GoogleEarth’s “history” tool, and step back to the July 2 image.

And notice that the trees are MISSING, and thus these were removed BEFORE July 2!
If you step back further in the GoogleEarth history tool, you find the patch of trees with corridor in the June 19 image, and even further back, in the May 30 image the corridor is not there yet.

So the image from the Russian Defense Ministry was taken between May 30 and July 2.

And thus the Russian Defense Ministry lied when they stated the picture was taken on July 14.

Wish all the respect of all people died in this terrible shouted down crash plane.

5  Other / Politics & Society / Russian ban the new horror movie ( Child 44 ) on: April 15, 2015, 06:33:49 PM

They banned the new horror movie produced by Ridley scott ..

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1014763/

The Russian government has banned the movie Child 44, considering that this Hollywood thriller about a serial killer in Stalin's USSR distorted the story of how "unacceptable" on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the victory over Germany Nazi.

Staline was a great and a nice guy ....

In 1936-1938, Stalin decided to eliminate its real and perceived enemies in a wave of repression. During the Great Terror, the entire Soviet society is concerned; victims of the Gulag are civil servants, members of the CPSU, the KPD militants who fled Nazism, officers, journalists, scientists and historians, most communist activists who made the revolution; practically anyone can be subject to repression. The period was marked by the Moscow trials and animated by the desire to kill prisoners directly or indirectly: "From 1937, he [Stalin] signed orders sent to the regional patterns of the NKVD, indicating people of allowances to stop (without specifying cause) in a particular région53 ". The Stalinist purges of those years were 35,000 dead and sent 700,000 people to the Gulag, which  140,000 polish , 172,000 ethnic Koreans in Vladivostok region and 30,000 Soviet citizens of Finnish origin of the province of Léningrad.

... In other words, do not depict stalin as dictator .. let's re-write the story ... when this one is ... a terror period.

.... funny really ... because all of us know that the Stalinist Russia, small or big brother of Germany  ( ribbentrop-molotov )

Russia first wanted to divide Poland ... with the help of Hitler ... when Hitler get enough power ... he simply wanted to kick Staline ... and of course ... URSS is the country who save the world ... why not ... in one another world.

Russia  was a country where the rules of law prevailed and the joy of living ...

After removed the statue of Tim Cook from the university just after he publicly explained he was homosexuel .... the common sense continue in Russia ...

Democratic country !

9  Other / Politics & Society / Seizing Assets in Crimea, From Shipyard to Film Studio on: February 27, 2015, 08:09:14 PM

New national sport in Crimea Cheesy Seizing all what is possible Cheesy

Quote from: MobSteal
YALTA, Crimea — In the scramble for Crimea’s spoils, armed forces have raided myriad enterprises across the peninsula, expelling the owners and claiming the property for the Crimean government.

At the Zaliv Shipyard in Kerch, the militia invaded by land and by sea, with dozens storming the dry dock from two boats, said Nicolay Kuzmenko, the chairman of the shipyard’s board.

“It looked like a military operation,” he said, with the government-backed “self-defense forces” wearing black balaclavas that hid their faces.

That force, which helped the Russian military seize Crimea, answers to Prime Minister Sergei Aksyonov, who calls it “the people’s militia.”

The management desperately telephoned local government officials, the police and the F.S.B., Russia’s internal security service, Mr. Kuzmenko said. No one responded.

“This raid was fully supported by the local authorities,” he said, echoing the experience of other owners.

Arbitrary enforcement of property rights has long been considered a bane of doing business in Russia. Occasional high-profile cases like the dismantlement of the Yukos oil company, and more recently, the Bashneft oil company, generate headlines. But in Crimea, the confiscations are being carried out in a widespread, systematic fashion that has no recent precedent.

Since Russia annexed the Black Sea peninsula 10 months ago, more than $1 billion in real estate and other assets have been stripped from their former owners, according to estimates from the owners and lawyers. The assets include banks, hotels, shipyards, farms, gas stations, the major bakery, a vital dairy and even the storied lots of Yalta Film Studio, which 50 years ago made this now shabby seaside resort the Hollywood of the Soviet Union.

Property seizures on such a sweeping scale have not occurred since the Russian Revolution, owners said. Many have argued in court that the confiscations violate a clause in the Russian Constitution mandating compensation when the government takes property. But given the triumphant mood in Moscow about the annexation, the owners expressed little hope for redress.

“If you act like the Communists in 1917, and take everything away, you should just say it,” said Mr. Kuzmenko, speaking by telephone from Kiev. “If there is no compensation, it looks like robbery.”

Lawyers say the statutes governing property seizures are hazy and applied haphazardly, according to what suits the authorities.

“If they truly believe that Crimea is Russian territory, they should apply Russian law there and not some lower Crimean law that contradicts Russian law,” said Roman V. Marchenko, a lawyer based in Kiev whose firm, Ilyashev & Partners, is pursuing several cases.

But even if Russian law were applied, he said, that might not help. “We strongly believe that for political reasons we will not get justice in Russian courts.”

Lawyers say the government is selectively seizing property to cover its bills. “The Crimean authorities received a carte blanche to fund the budget of Crimea and they are looking for owners and stakeholders who are not in their party and not State Council deputies,” said Zhan Zapruta, the lawyer for Krymavtotrans, the peninsula’s main vendor of bus tickets, seized by the militia in September.

Crimea’s State Council, its parliament, opened the door for wholesale confiscations in August when it granted the government the right to take property to maintain “vital activity,” a concept so vague that lawyers suing the government say it is invoked to cover virtually anything. The law also states that the government will pay compensation.

Crimea’s government refuses to characterize its actions as confiscations, with top officials, including the prime minister, declaring them nationalizations.

“Nothing was confiscated,” said Vladimir A. Konstantinov, chairman of the State Council, when asked about the issue. “There is a procedure of forced redemption.”

By that, Mr. Konstantinov and other leaders mean that they are reclaiming property that they say was stolen from the government through illegal sweetheart deals made by Ukrainian officials and their oligarch cronies. The Crimean authorities have also seized assets from oligarchs they accused of financing the war against pro-Russian separatists in southeastern Ukraine. Business people living in Crimea and even Russians have lost property as well.

The main target to date is Igor Kolomoisky, a principal owner of PrivatBank, Ukraine’s largest bank, and currently the antiseparatist governor of Dnipropetrovsk. In late December, Crimea’s Ministry of Property and Land announced an auction of the 83 properties in which Mr. Kolomoisky owned shares. An earlier government list of his properties included hotels, office and apartment buildings, resorts and a chain of 16 gas stations.

The December announcement said money from the property sales would go to the Crimean budget and to depositors who lost their bank accounts when PrivatBank stopped operating in Crimea after the annexation. But a senior executive at the bank, Timur Novikov, said it was impossible to ascertain how the list of properties had been compiled, saying, “I think it is a total mess.”

In Kiev, the Ministry of Justice said that nearly 4,000 Ukrainian businesses or organizations had lost property. Mr. Konstantinov refused to discuss the precise number, and the Crimean Ministry of Property and Land declined to comment. But Mr. Konstantinov did say property owners would be reimbursed.

Russia’s Ministry of Crimean Affairs declined to comment. Several lawyers said their cases were referred to Russia’s Supreme Court, which is expected to issue the definitive ruling on whether the Crimean law is constitutional.

Various companies are turning to courts outside Russia. Many find their cases hobbled by the fact that the militia seized computers and legal documents along with the property, leaving the owners to fight back without records.

One of the most high-profile properties, Yalta Film Studio, sits high above the town, with sweeping views of the Black Sea.

In October, 12 armed men stormed the administration building and forced everyone there to lie face down, said Sergei M. Arshinov, the Moscow businessman who owns the property. He was perplexed because he had been negotiating with the government to sell the property back. He and his brother invested heavily in the 32-acre property and ran it for more than a decade as a back lot for movies and television shows.

The Crimean government cites the studio as an example of what it calls “criminal” land sales, saying publicly that it will pay only about $100,000 in compensation, reflecting what it says was the sale price under Ukrainian stewardship. Mr. Arshinov said he and his brother originally paid about $3 million for the property and then over $11,000 monthly in property taxes for the main parcel, which was valued at $13 million on the Ukrainian tax rolls. Mr. Arshinov said he and his brother had invested because a friend running Russia’s state movie committee asked them about 15 years ago to rescue the bankrupt studio.

Some longtime studio workers were ecstatic about the property seizure.

Valerie P. Pavlotos, 74, a former movie set builder, limped around an old seafront film lot, reliving the golden age of Soviet filmmaking.

“This entire area was always full of people in different costumes. You could see all the famous Soviet actors,” he said, adding repeatedly, “It was a cathedral of art.”

Two deserted sound stages and several small office buildings, with crumbling plaster, now sit abandoned behind an unmarked gate, just yards from a hectic boardwalk. Mr. Arshinov’s company sold off this smaller property in 2004.

Development plans were interrupted by gangland killings, Mr. Pavlotos said, adding scornfully, “For 23 years, Ukraine did nothing for this studio.”

In the fight over the spoils, ordinary Crimeans sometimes get caught in the middle.

The 41 Ukrainian banks operating in Crimea, for example, were forced to close. Some 30 Russian banks moved in, most of them small, provincial institutions.

All property belonging to PrivatBank was seized including branches, cash reserves and automated teller machines, said Mr. Novikov, the executive responsible for pursuing legal remedies. He estimated the bank’s overall losses at $1.1 billion.

Initially, President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia seemed to encourage Crimeans to stop repaying their loans. During a national presidential call-in show last spring, someone asked about a two-year car loan, saying, “PrivatBank no longer operates in Crimea. What am I supposed to do?”

Mr. Putin responded, “Please use the car and don’t worry.” Later, the Russian government urged loan repayments, but Mr. Novikov said that “as a result of public statements by Russian and Crimean officials, PrivatBank’s borrowers stopped paying their loans.”

The Crimean government maintains that all the assets seized equal the deposits retained by the bank when it ceased operations. The bank disputes the math.

“The amount of loans granted in the Crimea far exceeds the amount of funds accumulated through deposits,” Mr. Novikov said via email.

Crimean residents who lost deposits trek to the offices of Russia’s Deposit Insurance Agency. Many despair of retrieving any money.

In Simferopol, the capital, Kirill Attestatov, 28, a computer specialist, said his application always seemed to be missing something. “I don’t know when I will see the money,” he said. “Maybe next century.”

Yevgeniya Bavykina, Crimea’s deputy prime minister, wrote in response to an email query, that the fund had received 328,000 claims from depositors. Of the 34.6 billion rubles ($560 million) in claims, 29.8 billion ($482 million) had been verified, she wrote.

Crimea’s leaders repeatedly counsel patience while claiming that the transition is going well over all. But those finding themselves squeezed by the government are souring on Russian rule.

“If the state does not respect the right to private property, if that is dead, then I do not want to live in such a state,” said Mr. Zapruta, the lawyer for Krymavtotrans.

"Novaya Gazeta": the Kremlin had a plan of attack to Ukraine before the year.
The Kremlin had a plan to invade the Ukraine long before the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych. Russian liberal "Novaya Gazeta" came to an official government document that shows the strategy of the war. Finally, Vladimir Putin had to accept the previous year.

According to the editor-in-chief, Dmitry Muratov, it has been developed between 4 and 15 February last year. February 22, Viktor Yanukovych, fled from Kiev to Russia. The paper then define the Ukrainian president as "a man without morals and willpower, which fall to be expected at any moment."

The whole strategy of attack on Ukraine includes plans to break up the country's autonomous regions, and their annexation. "The main attack has hit the Crimea and Kharkiv circuit, the goal is to join the eastern regions" - write the authors of the plan.

Putin enjoys overwhelming support in Russia

On the anniversary of Moscow Maidan kjowskiego passed thousands of people "love" in the politics of their leaders.
See more in an interview with "Echo of Moscow" Muratov said that the strategy also involved a propaganda campaign that was to justify the Russian attack on the international stage.

Editor-in-chief of "Novaya Gazeta" said that he could not determine with certainty the authors of the plan, however, was probably among them Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofajew. He also had to finance the creation of pro-Russian Crimea and Sevastopol mayor give one million US dollars bribe. According to Dmitry Muratov, it can be assumed that the document went then to the Russian president's advisers, and then to Vladimir Putin, who approved it.

Separatists have announced the withdrawal of heavy equipment

One of the leaders of the separatists in Ukraine Eduard Basurin announced that the pro-Russian militants begin withdrawal of heavy equipment from the east of the country, thus fulfilling the last agreement with Minsk. The operation will last two weeks.

ADVERTISING
- Plan signed last night. Starting Sunday, we have two weeks to withdraw the equipment - said Deputy Minister of Defense appointed by separatists Donetsk Republic of China (DRL), the Russian news agency Interfax. In an interview with Tass news agency said that the negotiations on this issue took place three days ago, but there has been no agreement then due to "some details".

Basurin announced that the part of an agreement signed with separatists among DRL leader Oleksandr Zacharczenko. - Today we begin the preparatory work. Tomorrow is a holiday, but on February 24 will begin the process of withdrawing technical equipment - Basurin said, adding that the Ukrainian side also agreed to begin working for his part.

Ukraine does not confirm information rebels

When asked about the statement by the representative of the Reuters news agency the National Security Council and Defense of Ukraine (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko said that the authorities in Kiev can not confirm whether indeed separatists began withdrawing heavy equipment.

Kiev also announced that during the previous night separatists 12 times violated the ceasefire, making firing artillery shells Ukrainian position and missile. At dawn in Donetsk could hear explosions. Forces the authorities in Kiev have also been attacked near the strategic city of Mariupol, through which runs the road to the Crimea occupied by Russia. Bonjour,
