3  Bitcoin / Mining support / My first AntMiner. HONEST advice needed for S3+. Thank You on: April 20, 2015, 03:17:52 PM
Hi,

New to the world of AntMiners. I have the S3+ and am wondering if these numbers are about right. I'm not new to cryptomining but some of these numbers seem backwords. Especially the discard/accept ratio. Can someone please advise me to see if this is about right.

ASICs : all 0s (I know that's good)
Freq : 243.75 (didn't set it to max.) wiring just barely warm. Corsair CX750M P.S.
Temp : 46/47C
GH/s Avg. : 493.83 (status menu)
GH/s Pool side : 488.27
Pool : 99.87% GOOD

I believe those are OK, but the next seem screwy.

Miner Status Menu ;
Accept : 1,327
Discard : 14,789

Now that just don't seem right to me. That's less than a 10% ratio of accepted. Is this common? With my other mining equipment, if I had numbers like that, well...
Clue me in. Do these run this way?

Thank You for the input -

edit: Please don't send me a link to look at numbers. I just want to know if these (AntMiner) run this way. PS numbers.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Moving BTC from WinQT to Android wallet? on: April 19, 2015, 07:24:00 PM
Hi,

Ok, I'm sure this has been answered somewhere, but I haven't found it.

I have funds in my WinQT wallet and wish to move them to my Android wallet (or vice versa). My question is; How do I transfer between devices without paying a transaction fee?
I don't want to store a bunch on my phone or tablet and yet I don't see why I pay a fee to move coins between my Windows wallet and the Android (or vice versa).
That's like saying I have to pay a dime because I want to take a dollar from my wallet and put it in my pocket.

I'm sure there is an easy way to do it and this must be a stupid question. But....Please explain how to accomplish such?

Thank You very much for your answers.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Line 473 errors in ccMiner release 42. Any help with this? on: April 03, 2015, 10:58:41 PM
Hi,

ASUS GTX750Ti2G-DF series, GPUTweak, ccMiner, release42 sp_mod (+ others).

   1. Blows out driver with Blake error in Line 473.

     Help? Whats it mean? Fix?

   2. Does anyone know if this card is hard coded in voltage area? Can't seem to get it to respond to over-volt. No voltage control at all in GPUTweak and doesn't go higher than 1143mV.

     Help? Is there a fix?

Thank You for any response!

9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Enabling old BTCGuild account? on: February 15, 2015, 03:24:51 PM
Hey,

I'd like to switch my hardware to mine with an old account but I guess it has been disabled. It's not deleted because I can still log in but the miners aren't. How do I enable username LuckyOlMan?

Thanks
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / X11/scrypt Mining with a GTX750ti on: February 07, 2015, 08:40:40 PM

Advise needed,

I'm using an nVidia GTX750ti to mine an x11 coin (CannabisCoin) with ccMiner. Getting around 2.2Gh by overclocking using GPUtweak. Could someone tell me if this is a good hash rate and what temp range is OK for the GPU? Is there a ccMiner version for mining scrypt (LTC) or do I have to go back to using CUDA for that? The last CUDA miner I have came out 2/14. I can't seem to find the right threads to get any info. Strictly a Windows user and run cgminer for most. Any info concerning updates for scrypt and ccminer or CUDA.

Thanks
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Staking? on: November 30, 2014, 03:42:12 AM

12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Block Erupter Cube HELP NEEDED! on: June 28, 2014, 01:35:23 AM
Hey all,

Gotta problem with my 2 Cubes.  Huh  I have 2 that mine, but shut-down for about 2 minutes as soon as they reach rated speed. Does it in CGminer and BFGminer. CG just sits there, BFG gives the dreaded 'declared sick' error. After about 2 min. they start mining again,  and so on and so on. I don't have any 'x's showing, so it's not the chips/cards. I tried different power supplies. They are good. I suspect my control base boards got zapped causing them to temp shut-down and reset.  Sooooo,

1. Anybody got ideas?
2. Where can I purchase just the base board?
3. Are the blades usable in a different setup?
4. Am I screwed?
5 Do I now own a couple of expensive paperweights?

Any help would be useful.

Thanks,

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Fury scrypt mining. Is there better software? on: June 08, 2014, 02:46:40 AM
Can anyone mining scrypt coins with the Gaw Fury point me towards some better Win software? Currently, I only know of the cgminer v.3.1.1 that is what was first recommended.  I like the later versions of it but I haven't found anything else compatible yet. Has anyone found something better? Is anyone working on something that may be better. I would be willing to beta test. Lastly, are there any GOOD setup instructions for the zen miner controller. Thank you for any help you can forward to me.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / POTCOIN Wallet Frozen on: June 06, 2014, 09:49:14 PM
Howdy,

A few days ago I reported a Pot wallet problem. Since then, I have been led to believe the problem had been resolved. I just checked my balance (which is short) and decided to transfer to my Win machine. Low and behold.....ERROR!!!   Huh  I am getting a bunch of code gunk on screen and NO TRANSFER.   Cry

Now......I have no clue?  Anyone else?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / POTCOIN WALLET ISSUES! SERIOUS HELP NEEDED on: June 05, 2014, 04:21:24 PM
  Howdy...

Shocked  OOOHHHH NNOOOO!   Shocked   A while back I questioned (potcoin.com) when the 'backup' ability would be added to the android mobile wallet for potcoin and asked if it was safe to use. I got a very resounding "Yes" and was told that the backup feature would be coming. My wallet has had a major crash (went crazy, app locked, then tablet black-screened) and I have lost over 160k plus coins. May not sound like much, but it is to me. I have a lot invested in these miners and vids. I went to the 'web' wallet to see if they existed there and I have the following message ...'Pot:undefined'...{"code":"ECONNREFUSED","errno":"ECONNREFUSED","syscall":"connect"}. I tried to post this issue on the site but it won't allow, for some reason.

Ummm....how do I get this functioning/corrected?  $#&^%$, I shoulda used the windows-qt BTC instead of leaving on my Galaxy tablet. I tried an app re-install, but still nothing. Help....ideas?   What folder is the app wallet/file/name kept in? How do I restore? Is this actually different problem that's not on my end? ANYONE ELSE having the same problem? WTF?   Angry

Thank You for your efforts     Grin

17  Bitcoin / Mining support / RedFury USB pencil mod - need a 'how to' on: January 10, 2014, 07:25:40 PM
OK already!!!  I've been searching for this item for an hour with no luck. I have a RedFury USB I want to overclock. Everyone said do a search for 'pencil mod'. Read a ton of posts that said they did a pencil mod but not one tells me how! Jeez..anybody have a pic, link, or anything that gives directions on how the heck I perform a 'pencil mod' to overclock the RedFury USB stick? I would be eternally in your debt if I could get a straight answer. "Nuff said" And Thank You.
18  Bitcoin / Mining support / RedFury USB HELP!! on: January 10, 2014, 05:22:27 PM
I finally got my RedFury USB stick to run but I'm only getting just over 2.0Ghash. I have this on a Win8 64bit, running CGminer. The other mining software didn't even see the stick. Can someone tell me how to overclock this so I get the full 2.6Ghash it's rated for? Thanks
19  Other / Beginners & Help / RedFury USB HELP!! on: January 10, 2014, 05:02:28 PM
I am looking for info on how to get the RedFury USB sticks to run at the 2.6Ghash rating in CGminer. I've tried other mining software and they don't even see the stick. CGminer works but I'm only getting the low side 2.0Ghash. I don't have a clue on how to overclock these. Can anyone help! Thanks
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Oppss! FORGOT TO SAY HELLO! on: January 06, 2014, 08:45:19 PM
I made an earlier post question about a 64bit USB mining problem but forgot to intro myself.

1. I don't consider myself to be an expert.
2. With #1 said, I'm no dummy either.
3. I've been into computers since the "pong" and Atari days.
4. Most of you probably weren't even born before #3.
5. I'm new to this 'bitcoin' stuff.
6. No clue on how to write code.
7. Pretty good at getting others software to work.
8. Not afraid to play at getting software to work.
9. Enjoy beta-testing, at long as I can get a upgrade.
10. Sense of humor, cuss like sailor, but not in writing!

Sooo.....that's me!! Nice to meet you. Have a great frikkin day.
