Official website

Friendly User Interface

When it comes to the end-to-end process of designing your automated bot, Cryptohopper has made the process super simple. In fact, they have created a simplified drop and drag designer that allows you to design your automated bot from the ground up.

All you need to do is click on the specific indicator that you want to implement, choose whether you want to buy or sell, configure a few fundamentals such as volumes – and you’re good to go.

Supported Exchanges

The bot can connect to a wide variety of exchange Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and trade a significant pool of coins automatically, 24/7. It currently offers integration with the following exchanges:

    Huobi – premium Cryptohopper partner
    Poloniex
    Kraken
    Bittrex
    Binance
    Coinbase Pro
    KuCoin
    Cryptopia
    Bitfinex

Work is apparently being done to integrate the bot with HitBTC, Cobinhood, Cex.io, Bitstamp and bitFlyer APIs.

Features

Cryptohopper offers a wide array of features:

Automatic trading: automated trading of your favorite coins. Set up your own trading strategy and let the bot trade for you.

Crypto signals: Alternatively, if you don’t want to/don’t know how to set up your own strategies, the bot allows you to automate your trading by copying signals sent to you by third-party technical analysts (signalers).

Risk-minimizing features: constant automatic price trailing, trailing stop-shorts, trailing stop-buys, stop-losses and sell with profit options limit your chance of losing everything you have.

Trading bot templates: save and load your own templates to quickly setup and change your trading bots.

Technical analysis: the bot offers dozens of volatility, trend and volume indicators as well as tools to perform technical analysis of the market, all of which helps you determine the ultimate trading strategy.

Backtesting: lets you analyze data from the past, which can help you fine tune your trading strategy for optimal profitability.

Cryptohopper is relatively easy to get into; you need to first create an account and download platform; Once the account is created, you get the free 30 days license. The entire process is made simpler thanks to a useful wizard which will lead you through every step of the way.

Automated Bot Features

Some of the additional features of Cryptohopper are:

Bull Market If your bot is operating in a potential bull market, you can utilize the useful trailing stop loss feature. This is how you can protect your trading gains with adjustable stop losses, subsequently allowing you to exit your positions when an eventual market correction does take place. The bot also allows you to search for potential pricing targets, and automatically place trading profits into a reserve fund.

Bear Market If the markets have taken a downturn, then you can program your bot to be ready to exit a trade at the first sign of a downward trend.

If you’re convinced that a particular crypto asset is only in bear market temporarily, then you can get your automated bot to facilitate dollar cost averaging. This is where your bot purchases additional coins at pre-defined intervals (such as every 5% decline in price).

Consolidation Periods Consolidation periods or sideways markets can be a nightmare to trade. However, they also present multiple opportunities to scrape micro profits within a specific range. For example, if Bitcoin was trading in the $9,600 – $10,600 range, you could instruct your bot to enter and exit short term trades when certain triggers have been met.

Trading Strategies

The bot will require a trading strategy to operate and trade for you. While other bots come with pre-programmed strategies, Cryptohopper mostly requires you to create a custom strategy using its tools. A user gets to set up the bot parameters himself, but the process isn’t that complicated; you’ll be given a host of settings that you can tweak and adjust in a way which you believe will bring you the biggest profit. Some of the strategies you’ll find when trading with Cryptohopper include:

    Trailing stop-loss
    Trailing stop-buy
    Dollar Cost Averaging
    Shorting
    Trailing stop-short
    Config pools

    Triggers
    Backtesting
    Walletscrubber
    Auto synchronize
    Reserve funds
    Manual buy and sell

Ultimately, you’ll be able to either set up your own strategy or rely on outside signals.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is your definition of shitcoin? on: May 11, 2019, 11:29:43 PM
What actually defines a shit coin?  The continuous price decrease after listing on an exchange with actual working products in real life or a stable price and a minimal increase in price but lacking real life working products?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Where does all the tokens mistakenly sent to wrong wallets go? on: April 15, 2019, 05:19:20 PM
I have a question for you all. What happens to all the tokens mistakenly sent from a wallet to a wrong wallet and where do they go?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What happens to coins that peeged their ICO to Ethereum? on: February 11, 2019, 10:14:35 AM
So I have been thinking about this and I want to know the opinion of people too.  Do the price of tokens who pegged to ethereum grow or dump with ethereum?  Will these tokens rise back to their ICO tags when bullish trends return?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can we take FOMO out of investors? on: January 04, 2019, 04:52:03 PM
Fear of missing out( FOMO) is naturally inherent in the minds of investors but what differs in investors is discipline and due diligence. Bullrun will always come along the line but can we take out FOMO out when it comes around?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who is going to clean the garbage littered all over? on: December 29, 2018, 05:47:46 PM
The altcoin zone is almost becoming a dump site for shitcoin.  With just anyone being able to come up with a token on any of the blockchain makes it easy to have shitcoins littered all over the place. But the question is; who is going to clean up the mess?  Natural death or a regulation is going good to be imposed later?
8  Economy / Speculation / Who later won in the price of Bitcoin in December 2018? on: December 26, 2018, 12:18:58 PM
There were plenty of speculations in January, when all was rosy. But even in the bear market, many still had the believe that we would see 50,000, some 20,000 and some said 5,000 but here we are at 3787 close to the end of December.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Now that your expectations were not met in December, What next? on: December 26, 2018, 11:46:37 AM
December has come and gone, many had high expectations especially newbies. What next? Don't you think it's time for proper education of how this space works instead of jumping on the band wagon? But while doing that do not FOMO if in the process bullrun  comes with speed.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Has any of your alts shown a minus in fiat value? on: November 22, 2018, 03:26:25 PM
With the recent  declines in so many alts, it is likely that many alts will go below bearable points. I once lost everything in my portfolio and was seeing a negative sign in my fiat value. I was completely broken and only had to invest more to further stop me from taking decisions that may ruin everything.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Have you reached your breaking point? on: November 04, 2018, 08:30:35 AM
Not doubt the market hasnt been favourable since the first quarter of the year, and even till this last quarter things are not showing signs of a possible bullrun. It is now tiring to a point and most people are beginning to give up. Is this your breaking point? If yes, rise your mind back up, better days are still ahead, this is not the bottom.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: September 30, 2018, 04:47:09 PM
In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do you buy a coin based on its previous ATH? on: September 23, 2018, 12:59:44 PM
Do you buy a coin because of how high it has gone in the days of rally? The last bullrun saw most coins go very high and made people saw 1000x gains. What does your mind tell you? That if you invest in coin that it will go high up to that point of the all time high?
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Are you here for to learn or for Bounties? on: September 21, 2018, 08:58:46 AM
Forums were built to help people in learning and solving problems faced by the many. Out of the many forums out there, Bitcointalk forum was born not necessarily for bounties but bounties is just an additional perk that comes with the forum as a user. So I ask, are you here to learn more and get your problem solved by the opinion of many others or you are here to just bag out with all the juicy bounty campaigns?
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Lessen GREED while taking positions and lessen GREED while taking profits on: September 18, 2018, 01:50:29 AM
Having made some mistakes in the past i want to advice traders on the need to shelve aside GREED at the two very important points of entry and exit. The market wont always meet with your desired price before you take your position in buying and on the other hand, it wont get to your desired price before you take profit. Many and myself have missed good opportunities of making good money but were aall denied by GREED on the table. DOnt make the same mistakes.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Have you ever been ASHDRAKED? on: August 31, 2018, 05:07:01 AM
Shit coins are all over the place and more are still in queue in the ICO space, as a newbie, with little or no experience, shitcoins with very low prices are traps to get you investing and losing all your money at the end of the day. Have you ever lost all your money that you have just the shitcoin without a dollar to it?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Have you heard of ARAW Token? on: July 04, 2018, 10:27:11 AM
Araw token is with confidence standing in the niche of e-commerce competing firmly and is already making headway.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / YOUR THOUGHGTS ON EON on: June 21, 2018, 10:09:55 PM
Who else received the EON for holding EOS on binance? Are we looking at the next ONT?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What heppened to Bankera? on: June 11, 2018, 04:23:13 PM
Having raised so much in ico it is surprising that after listing the price has dipped  so much below ico price. What are your thoughts?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Who else knows MASTER CONNTRACT NODE(MCT) on NEO NEP-5 on: June 04, 2018, 06:50:47 AM
