Anoncoin Anoncoin was being released in June 2013 and is focusing on anonymity for the private user. As of now it can be run on darknets like I2P or TOR to reach a higher level of security when connecting with nodes and downloading the Blockchain. For the future the Anoncoin Developer-Team is focusing on using a technology known as "Zerocoin" which would give Anoncoin a very high level of anonymization. We keep our community updated on the progress since we reached final stages of implementation. Feel free to ask our community members or Developer Team for support concerning Anoncoin Zerocoin in a nutshell Zerocoin was initially proposed to be an extension that would add true cryptographic anonymity to the Bitcoin protocol. Zerocoin provides anonymity by the introduction of a separate zerocoin cryptocurrency that is stored in the block chain along side the base currency. Originally proposed for use with the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, the original developers (Miers et al. 2013) have dropped this idea. Zerocoin is now being implemented in Anoncoin, where it will be setup in a trustless manner using RSA UFOs . Unlike other coin mixing services, the Anoncoin implementation of Zerocoin will not rely at all on trusted third parties. |

The Testnet for the Zerocoin Implementation starts on 15th of October. For those who don't know, Zerocoin is a technology that is not yet implemented in any other Cryptocurrency, it's for full anonimity and nothing like Coinjoin or Ring Signatures (Cryptonote). Please also check the Github under Anoncoin "ZC" branch. To see the coding, it's all open source, 14 days delayed because of copycats. Feel free to post your thoughts I'm keen on other anonymous technologies, but as of now Zerocoin is the most advanced one, it took about 8 core years to create the keys btw. As I promised two weeks ago, here is an estimate for completion of Zerocoin-in-Anoncoin that I feel has a very high chance of being met (a "hard deadline"). By October 15, I'll have Zerocoin integration in "alpha" state, and on a testnet for anybody to try.By November 1, I'll have Zerocoin in mainnet, which means you can use the ANC you have now to mint and spend zerocoins. It will still be in "beta", meaning you should pay attention to our website, IRC, and our bitcointalk.org thread for security updates to the wallet and anoncoind; this is especially important if you are a miner or running a relay node. I realized that I have made deadlines in the past that were not met. I put a lot of thought into the above deadlines and I know that they can be met. Just as a reminder, I'm working full-time on Zerocoin until at least October 1, and possibly after depending on funding. Other upcoming dates:September 15: the RSA UFO project ends, participants are rewarded, and the server source is released to our Github. September 17: the first Zerocoin commits get pushed to our Github (Anoncoin/anoncoin, "zc" branch). As I said before, the public Github will lag 2 weeks behind active development in our private repository; this is to make things more difficult for copycat coins. Hello guys, today I want to talk to you about Zerocoin and Anoncoin. Some of you might not know that Anoncoin is in the progress of implementing the Zerocoin innovation. Zerocoin: Basically Zerocoin is a technology for anonymity in the Crypto-Sphere. Others would be "CoinJoin" (Used by Darkcoin) or "CoinSwap". However these technologies or "approaches" are all different in a certain way. Whereas Zerocoin is as of now one of the most thought out and secure options. Zerocoin was "invented" many months ago and the developers abandoned the idea of making an Altcoin out of it. Instead they develop on something what is called "Zerocash". However Zerocash also has its disadvantages over Zerocoin to be seen here: https://wiki.anoncoin.net/ZerocashThe Anoncoin Dev Team has the expertise to implement it for anonymity within the network, which would make Anoncoin or zAnoncoin one of the most anonymous Coins on the market. The progress is coming along quite well. By tomorrow we will receive more updates by one of the developers for the implementation "gnosis". He is by now working full time on it. Morgen Leute, besucht unsere Community auf http://zetacoin.cc/Wir haben ziemlich viele Projekte am laufen (AndroidApp, PaymentGateway, WerbeFelder und mehr) zur Zeit ist Zetacoin noch sehr billig - wir denken jedoch dass sich das ändern wird wenn wir mehrere Händler zugewinnen. Wir sind in vielen Gesprächen verwickelt und haben sogar schon mehrere in Afrika ausfindig gemacht  Ich will hier keine große Werbung für diesen Coin machen, ich denke jedoch dass Zetacoin im Vergleich zu anderen eine tolle Community und viele gute Projekte als dass man die Chance an sich vorbeiziehen lässt.
