Hoi,

- General Info

eToken was created on January 7, 2014

eToken was hit hard when the original developer left after a bad fork. The community quickly stepped in and fixed the fork while making adjustments to the difficulty retargeting, removing the bonus blocks and most importantly removing old developers premine/bank(from source)

Everything went smootly for a short while. We had some developers working for eToken and i was doing the communication and website for eToken (community). There was some contact on getting to New York for the cryptocoin conference. But we also had a lot of defending to do because of the droping price. Questions like "if we dumped the bank". Altough the bank was not big enough for the dumps. This and the dropping of the price was not motivating. We also found it strange that so much coins where on the market. Because it is a rare coin. This and a tip of a forum member who informed us about large amounts of coins lead us to the source. The source was something we did not expect to see. It seems the bank of 100k was back. The developer who fixed the coin tested it and i also saw it was being blocked when it was back in use. But somehow there was a way to get the 100k back ( i am no coin developer so i dont know how).

Don't blame the developer of the fix and don't blame other developers or me. The coin was never ours, we just brought it back to life. We had some great ideas but it is difficult to work with something you did not create. We never owned the coin and always said it should be a comminity thing. After the latest developments we decided to stop using a bank and bring the bank back to the comminity. We are going to giveaway the biggest part of the bank by faucet. We get back on that part.

Some info on the coins we found: http://cryptexplorer.com/block/0c41f62d2e13e06fe0f53eda31d7993766b536db1e231f0b2fe7264f923ec92a

If you are really pissed. Please go back to read the orignal topic from the original developer. http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=403597.0

We did our best. And a big change we are even more pissed than you are.

delete your blockchain files (./etoken/blocks and .etoken/chainstates)
delete your .etoken/peers.dat file.
change config file if you have one
DON'T DELETE YOUR WALLET.DAT FILE
start the client and give it a few minutes for syncing
add "addnode=46.4.94.85 and addnode=188.40.137.137" in your config file (etoken.conf).
if your wallet looks buggy, start the client with "etoken-qt.exe -salvagewallet

If your wallet hangs on block 42263, please make sure you have the right config. Also a restart of the wallet may help.
