1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Good Bitcoin videos for an office lunch & learn? on: April 01, 2015, 04:44:19 PM
Hey all,

Wondering if any of you know some good Bitcoin YouTube vids that are about an hour long to show at an office lunch and learn. It shouldn't be too technical but should also show what the power of the blockchain is capable of.

Could be a panel discussion, interview, etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A list of blockchain possibilities on: December 20, 2014, 12:47:13 PM

The Mega-Master Blockchain* List
Draft / Work-in-Progress / Not totally consistent in its categorization
This "Twitter-sourced" list (started March 11, 2014) is an open/rough attempt to brainstorm what asset registries, keys or related items theoretically could be implemented in a blockchain model. They may or may not be good ideas to do in a blockchain or might be good in certain circumstances or others, but that is not this exercise - this is a brainstorming exercise.

* Either the bitcoin blockchain or alternative blockchains

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Thinking of starting a loyalty based crypto for my business. Questions! on: October 25, 2014, 03:38:42 AM
Hello all,

I've been involved with the crypto space for over a year now, and while I'm not the most technical person out there, I do have an understanding of bitcoins and altcoins.

I'd like to start my own coin for my business with the sole purpose of having it serve as a loyalty based coin, where customers will receive a certain amount of this coin as part of a loyalty program. Obviously it could be mind as well and redeemed for a certain amount of services from my business.

I'm just wondering, how hard is it to launch a coin? What considerations need to be made?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Anyone wanna see Bitcoin integrated into cloud accounting software? on: September 29, 2014, 12:24:30 AM
Any business owners having the pain of accounting for their Bitcoin + all their corresponding gains & losses?

I'd personally like to see something like this in Xero or QuickBooks Online...

Thoughts? Ideas?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Sent BTC from Mintpal to Cryptorush and not showing in the Blockchain? on: March 16, 2014, 02:17:13 PM
Anyone know if it's normal for a transaction not to show up in the Blockchain 10 minutes after it's been sent? I thought it's usually pretty quick to show up.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Accounting software for bitcoins? on: March 07, 2014, 03:04:19 PM
Anyone know of any? I have a client that buys/sells bitcoins and tracking everything in Excel is less than ideal. Any solutions?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / coinmarket.io vs mintpal on: February 24, 2014, 06:36:01 PM
Which is the better exchange if you're looking to buy a coin that's available on both?

Thanks!
