2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / You are all dumb and got warned this would happen. on: April 11, 2013, 05:38:59 PM
Seriously, for a long long time people have been saying "bitcoin is a bubble bought on by the greed of idiots" and now after the second major price crash caused by exactly this people might realise this. Deflationary currencies like gold and silver (and bitcoin!) do not work for this very reason. There is a reason that most government issued currency has an inflation rate and it is specifically to stop people just collecting a ton of it and hoarding it and waiting for it to go up in value and thus encourage people to actually use their money or invest it.

Bitcoins are fundamentally flawed for this reason. Why should anyone spend now what will be worth more tomorrow? Why should anyone invest in anything or buy anything when tomorrow you could buy twice as much?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How do I get my bitcoins out? on: April 10, 2013, 05:56:12 PM
MtGox is crashing and I really can't afford to lose everything, how can I get my bitcoins out into dollars?

Please hurry.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Stop trusting "online" "banks" for bitcoin on: September 04, 2012, 10:54:49 PM
Seriously this is getting retarded, everyone deposists some stupid amount of bitcoins based on an impossibly high "interest rate" (something that is inherently impossible in a deflationary currency such as bitcoin, doubly so since to my knowledge) and then acts surprised when all their bitcoins suspisciously vanish. This is happened like 10 times now and every time it's blamed on "hackers" although frankly the site ops could just steal all the bitcoins and nothing could be done about it.
Also stop claiming that ponzi schemes are a winning system; They're not.
6  Other / Off-topic / THIS IS THE 9/11 ANNIVERSARY TERRORIST ATTACK on: September 09, 2011, 08:25:08 PM
It all makes fucking sense now, terrorists are trying to destroy our way of life and we can't do anything about it. fucking terrorists
7  Other / Off-topic / The Truth about Satoshi? on: September 03, 2011, 02:10:25 AM
Satoshi is an Anagram of "I host SA". The hoster of SA is lowtax, who owns SA. Is it possible that somethingawful was behind bitcoins too? I mean it'd make sense given their far reach due to the masonic forces that control them.

Any thoughts on this?
8  Other / Politics & Society / Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Video on: August 31, 2011, 11:47:10 PM
Is this for real? I mean I can't believe he'd make a video which is of kinda lower quality than I'd expect but at the end he does say he endorsed this video.

So anyone gonna be voting for him in 2012?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who the FUCK is making bitcoin viruses? on: July 19, 2011, 02:15:50 PM

See what the hell this is? Do you? Some idiotic fucker has developed a virus which does nothing but run copies of the bitcoin mining client to generate coins for the viruses creator. This kind of moronic shit is going to get bitcoin a really fucking bad reputation exceedingly quickly, especially with security companies (who would then be liable to automatically block any bitcoin client from running on the machine since it's suspect malicious software). Especially if it gets bitcoin classed as a botnet operation because then you get a whole load of countries cyber-defence agencies involved, which is going to kill the project dead.

I don't expect it's anyone here but if it is cut that shit out now, before you ruin this for fucking everyone.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / anyone read buttcoin.org? on: June 21, 2011, 11:24:29 PM
http://buttcoin.org/

I mean it's hilarious, how can anyone take this shitheap seriously? I find it refreshing humour in todays dark times.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / So does mtgox have the money they advertise as having because of the rollback? on: June 20, 2011, 05:42:05 PM
I mean, they're making good all the account balances that were screwed over because of the attack right, but if signifigant numbers of bitcoins left the system to tangiable wallet files they might not actually have the bitcoins available to back up accounts, correct?

if so, what then?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Since when was mtgox the regulartory agency for btc? on: June 19, 2011, 09:25:53 PM
By rolling the price back to it's prior value and not letting the free market decide upon the new value after this attack, Mtgox is essentially saying that they themselves are the de facto controller of the value of bitcoin. I don't use bitcoin because I wanted some regulatory agency to say how much my money was worth, I wanted the market itself to decide that.

mtgox should be shut down anyway for this absolute gross failure to uphold private data.

Oh also which mod deleted my thread, if you have any love for the constitution you'll let people speak their mind instead of enforcing your views upon them. Thanks!
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / by rolling back the price and transactions on mtgox on: June 19, 2011, 07:42:34 PM
you're essentially regulating the currency. Bitcoins are not meant to be regulated. If you want regulated currency where a central agency says what's right and what isn't go back to using your worthless paper money.

That is all.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / goons are crashing the market again on: June 17, 2011, 03:11:36 PM

This is getting fucking ridiculous!! don't sell people you're playing into their hands!!
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Using bitcoin to try to solicit ddos attacks isn't helping bitcoins popularity on: June 11, 2011, 10:47:13 PM
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/hx1s9/buying_ddos_somethingawfulcom_5_btc_per_hour/

Which one of you fucking moronic assbrains did this? Bitcoin is already on fairly shaky ground with the silkroad and potential terrorist/pedo funding things and adding more fuel to the fire by getting bitcoin known as a currency used by hackers to solicit DDOS attacks is only going to make bitcoin fail. If you have any fucking decency you'll take that shit down this fucking instant and never attempt to use it to do something as fucking moronic as this again.
16  Economy / Speculation / The Price is crashing people!! get out while you can!! on: June 10, 2011, 07:57:19 PM

Looks like some left wing liberal socialist has crashed the market with his terrible understanding of how real free market economics work and crashed the market, god fucking damnit.
