I have one rig with a
gigabyte ud5 x79
evga 1300 watt psu
3x radeon 290
and I have one radeon 270x I want to use.
Currently I am using the usb3 pcie x1 risers for 2 of the 3 radeons and one radeon is in the pcie x16.
If I connect the radeon 270x via another pcie x1 usb3 riser the pc turns on but nothing shows up on the screen

I have 2 radeon 290 in one of my rigs with win 8.1 installed. I can power one using my monitor but the second I can't power since it accepts DVI-D only. I don't think there's a cable that's possible and I can't use a dummy plug because it's dvi-i.
Both the boards are the same so both have only DVI-D.
Any suggestions?

My brother asked me to sell his radeon 5870, im going to head over to check out what the brand is but it works. He bought it in a preconfigured system off a dell but never gamed.
