I am a victim of this trap. Whenever I have won big, I have always appreciated myself and thought it was my skills. And whenever I lost, I blamed myself and my greed for losing.
But, even though the greed is partly to blame for your loss, but the major reason for your loss is "bad luck" for which you were not responsible at all!
The guilt of losing, the regret, it kills us slowly and forbids us to enjoy gambling as entertainment and forces us to try to recover and take risks.
But, if you bet 1 btc and lose, you blame yourself but had you won 2 btc, would you give credit yourself? You would.
But, if you won, it wasn't your good skills but "good luck" behind which you had no hand in. Similarly, if you lost, it was because of "bad luck" and not your mismanagement.
Hence, stop blaming yourself, move on, save money and gamble what you can afford to lose. Stop blaming and stop appreciating yourself. It's all random!

I think there should be a day to celebrate and pay thanks to casinos who give us so much benefits and in return they handle so much criticism and society's curses, peoples cursed etc. But all they do is provide us thrill, entertainment, sometimes profit too. And they make money like any other business should. But we become angry on them as if they forced us to play. Nothing feels worse to me than to see an honest business getting cursed. Hope we can give them some empathy when they care much about us!
