Quick question, was just wondering if there is a way to cap the hash rate?

Most people are would be like "wtf moar is bettar" but due to personal health issues I need to keep the fans down, so I was wondering if there were flags which could be used to cap the hash rate at a certain level...

ex. I am pulling 700Mhash/s, and would want to cap it at 600Mhash/s so my GPU is not at full load and the fans will be lowered.

I've heard of -s but I dunno what the flag does, i've heard it can help though for things like this?

Havent been using ATI for quite some time and now decided to switch purely for bitcoin reasons, and anyways I see that APP SDK 2.4 is reccomended for my card but I dont know the specifics of what SDK has in it... like will I need to install Catalyst Control also, or just SDK, or both??

Hopefully someone can clear this up pretty quick =]

Is it just me which is experiencing bitcoins forums being SUPER slow and sometimes unresponsive at times?  My net connection is solid and every other site is working well, I just was wondering if other people are getting the same sort of experience on here at times?

Hey all, I'm new here and since I will be buying Mt.Gox credits I was wanting to use paypal since thats all I really use for online purchases.

Thing is, I don't want this to end up as a scam situation, that i end up sending paypal money and then they just gtfo...

Any help for newbies looking to get into the market using paypal as their method of entering?

Pretty much as the topic says, I'm just looking for a few suggestions on what a good budget mobo is that people are using for 4x5830-5850's, and what sort of power supply to expect to buy

I'm starting small cards wise but looking to buy a mobo and psu that will be able to cover 4xcrossfire of (most likely) 5830's, 5850's
