Seems like it's been a very long time coming but I noticed that the eMunie team is demonstrating a working version of their platform finally and that it's been renamed to RadixDLT. Apparently they will be at CoinFestUK today, unfortunately there's no way I can make it across the pond to go see what the deal is but I think it'd be good to have a discussion thread here, the eMunie forums seem to be fairly empty these days but if they finally have a working platform I'm rather curious to see how it all works now.
Anybody in the Manchester area going to check out Coinfest and able to report back about this? Fuserleer seems to be doing a talk there today.

One of my old wallets that I haven't used in a long time randomly got sent a tiny amount of bitcoin, and when I looked at the address that sent it, I noticed they made a ton of similar transactions->all for tiny amounts of bitcoin. We're talking transactions so small that the fee would be like 20%. See: https://blockchain.info/address/1NALkMPyg3VCNRwzkByjyetz3y4ehqpKLwI thought maybe some account I had a long time ago swept some dust off to clear their records but I looked through all my old accounts and for the life of me can't figure out who's sending these out. Anybody know where this money is coming from?! My accountant keeps an eye on my old wallet addresses to see if there's any new activity or I wouldn't even have noticed. Really bizarre.

Hi all, ended up taking my terraminers offline entirely because our hosting costs were too high and two of the units lost a board. So I am looking for someone who has access to cheap or free power who thinks they can fix the dead boards, etc. 2 out of the 4 machines continue to run at full speed-getting 1.4-1.6Thash at the pool, but as I said above two of the machines seem to have a dead board. And in full disclosure the dead board seems to make one of the machines much less stable overall. These are all sitting at our datacenter powered down at this point.
I would like to sell all 4 units together to someone with access to cheap/free power and who thinks they can fix the bad units. Because of shipping costs we would prefer only to ship within the continental US unless you really want to pay for international shipping for some reason.
So make me an offer!

So this is a slightly odd thing to sell but I figured I'd see if anybody was interested. My mining operation has a cage in a datacenter that we've negotiated pricing for-the cage itself is a relatively high fixed cost but extra power lines to the cage are much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen (please PM me for extra power line pricing). That said, we had been running terraminers which are obviously no longer profitable even with low power costs. The S3's still generate good revenue but with the current price of bitcoin we are forced to either liquidate, or buy lots of new hardware to replace the terraminers that are still taking up half of the current power usage. Basically, I'm seeing if anybody wants to buy the thing whole hog, including with our negotiated power rates. This would be a very good deal if you are looking for an affordable data center that's familiar with hosting bitcoin mining equipment and comfortable with the high power/cooling requirements and are interested in a place to put more efficient equipment. We have 26 Antminer S3's in the cage and they have had perfect uptime to date as well as 4 terraminers of which 1 unit appears to have a dead board (I would consider it just 3 working terraminers at this point as the dead board is causing stability issues). There is also a free server that you would have access to, with an unlimited use 100mbps line included. The power lines are on a month to month contract so you can add or remove power lines as you need. The cage is under contract until March 2015 (it was a 1 year contract) so you would need to commit to 4 months or so of mining. The Antminers all have PSUs included including several very quality units (Antec HCG, Corsair CX750M [I think this was the model not 100%], etc) though most are running on individual EVGA 430W units, and you would also be getting 3 fully functioning terraminer IV's and one unit that is likely repairable for someone willing to open it up. This would be optimal for someone who wants to put extra hardware in the cage-as it is we are basically breaking even with our mining output and the hosting costs-from running the numbers overhead could be reduced to 50% or so by replacing the terraminers with S3+'s or SP35's and adding two more 30A (208V) power lines (i.e. adding 4xSP35s with S3+'s to fill out the power lines, or just filling 4x30A lines full of S3+'s). If you have a lot of hardware coming and don't have a place to put it this would be a good deal as it's cheaper than other hosting options I've seen and this is in a fully temperature controlled datacenter with redundant power. Or someone who wants to build a big mining operation-extra power lines are very aggressively priced so if you want to double or triple the size of our mining operation you would be able to lower overhead significantly-we just can't make that kind of investment at this time. I am looking 16BTC, mostly for the 26 Antminers w/PSUs. Please PM me for exact hosting costs as I can't post that information publicly but if you calculate our mining outputs with this gear you'd get the approximate monthly cost Again, it's breakeven at this time and needs something to replace the terraminers to get profitable so this is for someone who wants to commit to adding modern hardware.

Getting rid of my Single SCs, I have three units and I'm selling them for $300 each shipped. I have the ones that didn't come with a PSU, can include PSUs if you want for an extra $20 per unit.
That said I have 1x850W PSU that's powering two units right now and 1x620W PSU powering one unit, so I'd prefer to sell in a batch of two and a batch of one if people want the PSUs.
Payment accepted in either BTC or the dreaded Paypal-but if you use Paypal it has to be to a verified address and you have to have a good reputation here.

So...I finally got my December batch Terraminer IV today-the original December $14400 batch version. I was super excited so I decided to take some photos, you can click to the imgur album here: http://imgur.com/a/dbtmd or just look below. Now, setup was a little bit tricky. First off, there were no instructions in the box on what to do, so I headed off to Cointerra's website where they promised they would publish directions before shipping the first unit, except there were no instructions there either. No matter, I looked in the forums and plugged in my networking cable, and plugged in power to both PSUs and the fans powered on. Except the Terraminer was nowhere to be found in my router's DHCP tables. As it turns out (after a call to Cointerra to figure out what was wrong) you should actually turn on your Terraminer by doing everything in the following order: 1) Plug in the ethernet cable to a working router that you have administrative access to. 2) Plug in the power cables to the two PSUs, you *must* plug in the power to BOTH cables within 3 seconds of each other. 3) You should now see the orange LED power on on the front of the unit where it says CTR1-this LED shut off for me after a few seconds so you have to be looking at it right after you plug in the PSUs. 4) Now wait about 1 minute and check your DHCP tables, if the unit powers on correctly you should see the unit in there. 5) Open your browser and type in the IP address that you saw to get to the control panel for the Terraminer. 6) Log into it-the username defaults to admin and there is no default password apparently. From there it's actually pretty self explanatory, you click the configure button and put in the pool URL and pool worker name/pass then the unit will connect to the pool and start mining. When it does this the miner lights will start blinking away and the unit will become insanely loud-this thing has six high speed Delta fans blasting away...unfortunately as you can tell from my pics it's not in a server room for me. As for performance? Well, the control panel seems to say it's running at 1.5Thash, but unlike my BFL hardware where what's reported in CGMiner is more or less what the pool sees I can't get BTCGuild to see any more than 1.3Thash and it seems to fluctuate between 1.2 and 1.3Thash...this is severely disappointing right now and I've been playing around with pool settings to see if I can get any better performance but I'm basically mining 2/3rds of what I was expecting and obviously it's over 2 months late. All things considered for $14400 I could have had two Jupiters mining away at almost the same hashrate for 5 months now...even though they're sending another unit in March to try and make up for the delays the much lower hashrate is actually now the major issue-I'm honestly not sure how any of the later batches will ROI if they don't actually ship the full 2 terahashes. I have no idea how their control panel is showing such optimistic hashrates either. Overall I have to say that this whole experience has made me really hesitant about doing any sort of pre-orders ever again, I ended up paying about $11 per gigahash-yes this price will go down once they actually deliver a March unit but right now I have no idea when that will actually get here or even how much mining power it will have so if it ends up being 2.6Thash being delivered half in February and half in April for $14400... Edit: After some fiddling around (took cgminer down temporarily, changed the power setting around, restarted everything via SSH, etc.) I'm seeing 1.7Thash locally now instead of 1.5Thash and I've switched to Eligius...the hashrate is still climbing up at the moment so we'll see where it settles-maybe Eligius works better than BTCGuild with Terraminers? I know Cointerra was testing on Eligius so maybe this is the only pool that really deals well with these. We'll see soon enough I guess.

As the title says, I'm selling my BFL Single SCs. They're 0.7 BTC each and do not come with PSU but if you need a PSU I can provide a 850Watt unit for 0.1BTC (80+ silver rated) able to run two units or I can provide a 620W PSU for 0.06BTC shipped good for one unit.

What's going on with your warranty? In the original terms and conditions we both agreed upon when I sent you tens of thousands of dollars it clearly stated that there was a 90 day warranty, but now it's suddenly 30 days. Not only that you're sending out e-mails offering to "double" the warranty to 60 days if we pay $3500 per unit for hosting. CoinTerra’s partnership with TerraMine Hosting has enabled us to make a limited-time offer to apply the pre-paid shipping fees for your TerraMiner hardware against the cost of a 6 or 12 month hosting plan. This offer expires at midnight on November 22nd 2013.
Some of the benefits of hosting your TerraMiner with TerraMine Hosting include:
Tier-3 compliant data center with 99.98% uptime guarantee.
The warranty period on your TerraMiner is doubled from 30 to 60 days.
You've been CLEARLY stating that it's a 90 day warranty even on your own forums: http://forum.cointerra.com/threads/do-you-offer-a-warranty.21/ So why the hell am I suddenly being e-mailed an offer to pay you another $7000 to "double" my warranty to 60 days with hosting? There have been no e-mails whatsoever to existing customers that there's been a change in the length of warranty, but now you're e-mailing asking us to pay more money to get a 60 day warranty. WTF?!? And why is there even a change in the warranty length?!? Was there some hardware issue that's causing less reliability than originally anticipated? You guys are being completely opaque and secretive about these changes and this is not how this is supposed to work. You guys are acting shadier than BFL with warranties here and not telling anybody about it. Your own forums still say it's 90 days so what the hell is going on?

Just found out-apparently Dwolla will no longer allow any Bitcoin exchange to transfer money with them anymore! Luckily there are several other alternatives now but it's one less option now. Dear Dwolla Account Holder,
As you know, Dwolla does not sell, accept, mine, value, take possession of, or hold Bitcoin or any other virtual currency product, and none of Dwolla’s users transact business with Dwolla using Bitcoin or any other virtual currency product. However, recent interest involving virtual currency and its exchanges has created uncertainty and confusion around virtual currency, and Dwolla's relationship with a small number of its exchanges. This has forced Dwolla to reassign resources, funds, and services.
As Dwolla gears up for a new stage of growth, we recognize that we can no longer sustain this merchant base (.1 percent of Dwolla merchants) and its unique needs, and that attempting to do so jeopardizes both of our communities' starkly different, but similarly ambitious, vision for improving payments.
Effective October 28, 2013 at 4pm CT, Dwolla will be withdrawing its service offerings to virtual currency exchanges and virtual currency related services.
What does this mean? Your account, and its functionality, will remain unaffected. However, you can deactivate your account from within your Dwolla dashboard, if you so choose. Dwolla aims to provide its users and the few affected merchants with the guidance necessary to ensure a smooth transition. To do that, we encourage users to over-communicate with our support team, report any suspicious activity, and revisit our terms of service to ensure uninterrupted services. What is the timeline of events? October 10: Only existing users with a 30-day history with Dwolla will be able to send funds to merchants affected by this change. October 15: Affected merchants will be limited to sending money only, and will no longer be able to receive funds from customers. They will be able to issue refunds to customers at this time. October 28: Affected merchants’ accounts will be suspended. No further activity will be provided. October 29: Provided no security or fraud concerns, Dwolla will transfer any of the remaining funds inside the affected merchant's Dwolla account to its linked bank account. The decision to remove anyone from the network -- no matter the circumstances -- is not something Dwolla takes lightly. We are grateful for the opportunity to service and learn from these users. We wish the community and its pioneers the best.
Sincerely, Dwolla Support

I'm selling my three units to get funds since I spent a lot of my money on pre-orders and so my money is tied up for a while. Asking 12 BTC each shipped within the Continental US with insurance included. They unfortunately do not come with PSUs, though if you don't already have one I can include a nice 620W Antec for 0.2BTC though I only have one of those. Reputation wise you can check my heatware here: http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=9098 (11 year history including dealing with large group buys) and if you wish I will provide via PM my ebay account info since I used to be a power seller (with 100% positive ratings for over a decade) and obviously I've been posting here since a very long time ago.

So I finally got my units in and I'd like to sell one of then to raise funds for future hardware diversification. I'm asking for 66BTC but this will include USPS Express shipping within the US as well as the option to get a PSU with it if you need. I elected to receive my unit without a PSU but if you wish I will include a quality 620 watt PSU from Antec that has about 40 amps on the 12V rail so you have quite some headroom. Reputation wise I've been on these forums for a very long time but you can also check my heatware here: http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=9098 (11 year history including dealing with large group buys) and if you wish I will provide via PM my ebay account info since I used to be a power seller (with 100% positive ratings for over a decade).

UPDATE: I am shutting down the pool in 48 hours from the time of this edit since there's almost no hash power on my pool anymore, I don't know if it's because the difficulty of BBQCoins went up too much but it's rather silly for me to keep running a pool that only 1-2 other people use. After actually trying to get p2pool to work for the longest time now everything is in narken's p2pool-altcoin fork and I've finally managed to get my pool up and running. Everything seems to be working well so I'd appreciate it if you guys could help me test. Just connect cgminer or reaper (I like to use GUIMiner-scrypt to manage them) to bbqpower.no-ip.biz on port 8900 and use your BBQCoin address as the username and type whatever you want for the pass (it doesn't check but you have to type something) Stats page! http://bbqpower.no-ip.biz:8900/static/(prettier and more useful page coming soon) There's no fees, and it's running on a dual core 64-bit AMD Linux server at the moment. Please post if you're having trouble. Seems like we have about 10% of the total p2pool rate right now.
