21  Economy / Service Discussion / I have reasons to believe that CEX might be ripping it's users off.... on: April 26, 2014, 12:12:17 PM
OK, I have made this observation on the 24/04: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583292.msg6379806#msg6379806
when I saw that 3 blocks were missing from the GHash.io last blocks found (and paid) list.

Today I had also noticed quite a few blocks missing from the list so I did a little check for the pass 2 days and came up with the following:

On the 25th the following blocks are missing from GHash.io blocks list:

25/04   297552   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297552
25/04   297603   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297603
25/04   297673   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297673
25/04   297692   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297692

For today (so far) there is more blocks missing:

26/04   297721   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297721
26/04   297770   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297770
26/04   297771   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297771
26/04   297777   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297777
26/04   297788   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297788
26/04   297789   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297789
26/04   297793   http://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer/b/297793

and here is a pic of today's last blocks found by GHash.io

As you can see the blocks I mentioned above for today are missing from the list.
Now since all those blocks are missing from the blocks found list of GHash.io and obviously not paid I guess this makes it a rip off.....
unless I am missing something here....

What do you think?

PS:
Also, can a member of CEX verify my findings?
Just log in your account and check the last blocks list and check if my findings are correct.

27  Other / Beginners & Help / Two noob questions here.... on: April 04, 2014, 11:51:51 AM
Hi guys,
I have two noob questions here:

What is the process/procedure I need to follow to:

1) Sign an address - to prove that I am the owner?
2) Add a message to a transaction when I sent BTC?
I have sent donations to Hal and I wanted to add a thank you note but I haven't done it before.

Thanks Smiley

EDIT: Also, once I do sign an address how can one verify that?

28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Here's an interesting question.... on: April 03, 2014, 09:01:20 PM
OK, I know that the SilkRoad case is still under investigation but....

What will happen to all the seized coins after the case is closed?

Logically those coins should be destroyed, but is there any way to prove that they are?

29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Andy Greenberg raising funds for Hal Finney on: April 01, 2014, 02:28:04 PM
I must admit that I did not know that Hal Finney had ASL.
I also have to admit that it brought tears to my eyes seing a genius like Hal in that position.

I don't know how many of you know this but Hal needs our support:

I have donated and will donate again.

I hope more members appreciate his part in Bitcoin as well as PGP and offer a helping hand as well.

30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bye Bye Bitcoin..... Really??? on: March 30, 2014, 02:51:23 PM
http://www.macrobusiness.com.au/2014/03/bye-bye-bitcoin/

I know that ignorance is a bliss, or so they say but....
Give us a break here!
Why are governments and the media run by ignorant people?

Any comments?

I can just see it happening.....
Most governments will create their own cryptocurrency (altcoins) whose value will be based on Bitcoin.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / So glad I didn't place a wager when I speculated $1000 per coin.... on: March 29, 2014, 12:05:11 PM
This guy apparently placed a wager that Bitcoin will not go under $1000.

Apparently he had to eat his HAT!!!!.

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-enthusiast-loses-price-bet-eats-hat/

Jesus!!!!!

I am glad nobody asked me to place a wager when I said I expected BTC price to hit $1000!

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why didn't an exchange do this already? on: March 28, 2014, 10:53:26 AM
OK, I am still puzzled as to why an exchange doesn't use Tor.

It provides more security than having your server known and vulnerable to attacks.

So why didn't they do it already?

34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Let's get Mike Maloney in the Bitcoin Team on: March 26, 2014, 06:51:47 PM
This is a 7 day voting poll.
I will personally contact Mike - Not that I know him but I am a member of his website.
and inform him that (if that is the case) we want him in our team - which he seems to be OK with as far as I can tell.

WHO IS MIKE MALONEY?

He is the person that speaks the truth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFDe5kUUyT0

And now apparently he is leaning towards Bitcoin: http://hiddensecretsofmoney.com/blog/BitcoinDestroysBankingLeechesMikeMaloney

DO WE WANT HIM IN OUR TEAM?Huh?

I VOTE FOR YES, WE DO WANT MIKE IN OUR TEAM!!!!
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I think Mike Maloney is starting to lean towards Bitcoin on: March 26, 2014, 10:34:33 AM

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Protect Satoshi on: March 06, 2014, 08:04:13 PM
Whether he is the real deal or not, it is our duty to protect the man who is in a VERY difficult position right now.

I propose we start raising funds in order to protect him.

I do not have much but I am more than willing to give some of the little I have to protect Satoshi and Bitcoin.

Anyone else with me?

This will definitely give some food for thoughts for the ones who are trying to crush Bitcoin.

40  Economy / Service Discussion / I think I know where all the Gox money went..... on: March 05, 2014, 07:31:32 PM
OK, this is pure speculation, so mods please move this to the according forum if necessary.

Now, did anybody take a look at Mark's new business plan in hitting Europe?

Did anybody hear about Neo-bee? http://www.neo-bee.com/index.php/en/

Well, apparently their first reference to a Bitcoin website is: bitcoins.com

Which is owned by who?HuhHuh?

http://www.neo-bee.com/en/faqs/
scroll down till you see the reference links.

Again, this is just speculation....
