1  Economy / Digital goods / Selling my copy of Cryptsy Automated Trader (CAT) - 0.45 BTC on: June 06, 2014, 10:21:14 PM
Just don't have the time to watch the markets, but it's a great tool. You will get a BTC-e account, cryptsy account, and all future versions of the tool (I'll talk to sampey). Can do escrow upon request.

PM me. 0.45BTC OBO.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / What would be the best way to set up a Darkcoin Masternode group buy? on: May 30, 2014, 12:04:21 PM
Currently, a Darkcoin is 0.018BTC. Meaning, you would need 18BTC, or around $10,200 to set up a Darkcoin Masternode. Most people do not have $10,000 sitting around. As a result, it might be a good idea to set up a group buy for creating a Masternode. But obviously there are security issues with such a setup. I wanted to create a thread to brainstorm what might be the best way to set up a group buy for a Darkcoin Masternode. What do you all think?
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Quick question: How do exchanges handle orders at the same price? on: May 13, 2014, 08:20:08 PM
Example, say at cryptsy I place an order to buy doge at 102 satoshis, 1 BTC worth. There are a total of 7BTC worth of buy orders at that price, including mine. Let's say someone sells 1 BTC worth of doge at that price, filling 1 BTC worth of the 7 BTC of buy orders. How does the system determine who to credit the buy order to? Is it a queue system where the oldest order gets filled first?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What's good to GPU Mine now that Scrypt ASIC's are coming out? on: May 13, 2014, 06:54:37 PM
Trying to find something to mine while my 2x 7970's are idle. X11 is probably my favorite because of low energy consumption and low heat (doesn't heat up my bedroom very much) but that hasn't been very profitable as of late. Are there any other algorithms that would be good to GPU mine? I've tried scrypt-n and that's okay but looking for other algos.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How much does the Gridseed G-Blade heat up a room? on: May 12, 2014, 07:20:52 PM
I just bought 4 of them for $2310 on zoomhash, a real bargain. Anyway, they're intended to replace my GPU's mining. My GPU's mined at 75 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius for Scrypt and increased the temperature in my bedroom a good 10 degrees. What temperature do the blades run at and should I expect a large temperature increase also?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Need a link to a site that displays graphs of cryptos on one page? on: April 27, 2014, 02:33:54 PM
Looking for a site where I can scroll through graphs of various cryptocurrencies on one page then decide what one to trade on cryptsy. This is much easier than having to click on every market and check it out. I know this site exists because I've been to one in the past. It had a black background and you just scrolled through graphs of various cryptos. I can't find it though. Does anyone have a link?

Edit: I want to say it was this site, but they only have the current prices.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Does anyone have a comparison of hashrates between different algorithms? on: April 26, 2014, 02:41:09 PM
I've been searching for a chart or some way to calculate an estimated hash rate before mining, but have come up empty. I know Scrypt-N is about half the hashrate of Scrypt, but what about SHA-3 (Keccak), X11, Quark, or Groestl?

If someone could post what 1 MH/s of Scrypt is equivalent to on each of these algos, I would much appreciate it. Or post what an i5-4560 or 7950 would be. Thank you!

10  Economy / Marketplace / The most profitable bot on the market $35/mo. $100 to $119228 in 2013, +2012 too on: March 23, 2014, 02:29:07 PM
I think these backtests speak for themselves. The bot sits in BTC and waits for an opportunity to make a move with volatility. It does EXTREMELY well. If you're interested in the bot, PM me or go to the CryptoTrader website. I can also run the bot for you for cheaper.

See the strategy here:

Not to hate on these guys, but it’s clear the cold storage bot is the clear winner in this competition. It does well dating back to 2012 and phenomenal in 2013. It’s been okay so far in 2014 but that’s because the market has been low volatility. In high volatility markets it does VERY well as you can see. The above bots have been overfitted to a given time. The cold storage bot models a behavior, not the results. Thats what sets it apart. Plus it’s much cheaper as well.

I should also note that since I ran these backtests, I have implemented a new engine. So it's about 33% more profitable now with the new engine.

You all should take a look at my 1m scalp bot. It's done fantastic lately!

Gained 45% more BTC since the 25th.

11  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / 500 Gh/s for $1400 on eBay. Worth it? on: March 19, 2014, 10:27:24 PM
I found a 1 year mining contract for 500 Gh/s on eBay for $1400. The 1 year contract part isn't too worrisome because by that time any mining sums will be negligible. The contract starts next week. Think it's worth it? I said $1400 because he accepted my best offer. Just reconsidering it. Here's the link:

If he's a scammer (he has positive feedback), eBay has buyer protection.
12  Economy / Marketplace / Selling Bitcoin trading bots and bot rentals. 6x Bitcoins in 60 days! on: March 18, 2014, 10:52:16 PM
I'm in the market of selling bots. Some of my bots are extremely profitable. My cold storage bot made 6x BTC in the volatile market

Here's a full list of my bots, the subscription price along with the price for the source code. Feel free to run backtests at the links provided below (just click the backtest tab)

$20 - 5m BTC-E bot - 0.75BTC
This bot sits in fiat and looks for volatility. It's a scalp bot, basically and is extremely profitable. Note that this is NOT the same bot I posted before. It's actually quite different. Sits in USD and waits for an opportunity. Does best in volatile markets.

$15 - 5m LTC BTC-E bot - 0.75BTC
Like the above bot, but for LTC. If you buy one, you get them both.
https://cryptotrader.org/strategies/k8ArMbj53EKnWuA4h

$30 - 1m BTC & LTC Scalp Bot - 0.5BTC
Similar to my 5m bot, but tuned for the 1m timeframe and often is more profitable. Scalps on the 1m timeframe for BTC-E. Sits in USD and waits for an opportunity. Does best in volatile markets.

$9 - PPC BTC-E Bot - 0.1BTC
https://cryptotrader.org/strategies/QqzfjwCXWtSFJZ3S4

$35 - Cold Storage Bot <---- Probably my best bot, profitable in nearly every tested period…... - 1BTC
This bot does quite well in most markets. I call it a cold storage bot because it's relatively low risk and will generally gain $, BTC or both. Even in sideways markets, it still gains BTC. Outperforms buy and hold by a significant margin.
Returned 6x from 4/13-6/13 and 2x from 11/13-1/14.

$25 - CEX.IO Trend Bot - 0.25BTC
This bot works off of the presumption that when bots trigger a buy or sell command, the market is about to reverse. Does EXTREMELY well in sideways action or slightly downward action, but loses in a sharp downtrend.
https://cryptotrader.org/strategies/s2ZDTpDfxfs2WgtEm

$25 - CEX.IO Trend Bot (conservative) - 0.25BTC
This bot works off of the presumption that when bots trigger a buy or sell command, the market is about to reverse. Does EXTREMELY well in sideways action or slightly downward action, but loses in a sharp downtrend. This bot is tuned to be conservative. It is slightly less profitable but is less risk as well.

I'm also here to answer any questions you might have!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are genre coins worth mining or buying? on: February 27, 2014, 02:59:32 PM
Debating mining or buying some genre coins. But I'm not sure if it's worth it. But a lot of these coins aimed at a specific audience offer nothing new technologically. So I have to ask, why this coin and not Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Dogecoin? So do you think it's worth it to mine or buy some genre coins? Right now we're in very much of a cryptocoin explosion. But I'm not sure if many of these coins will be around 2-3 years from now.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is it a bad idea to have a rig that doubles as a gaming computer? on: February 14, 2014, 04:11:11 PM
There are two types of computers I want, a gaming rig and a mining rig. So I thought, what if had both of them together? I was thinking of building a gaming rig of an i7, 8GB RAM, and 2x 7950's that would double as awesome gaming cards and mining cards. I just don't see anyone talking about gaming on their rig, so maybe I'm missing something. Is it a bad idea to do this?
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Anyone else having trouble with BTC-E withdraws? on: February 11, 2014, 04:00:50 PM
Mine has been stuck for nearly 24 hours and another small one I transferred as a test is now stuck too. Just wondering if anyone else is having any issues. My order doesn't even show up in the blockchain.
16  Economy / Marketplace / Buyers paying way above market price on LocalBitcoins. Are they all scammers? on: January 20, 2014, 08:57:38 PM
I noticed on LocalBitcoins, there are some buyers who pay upwards of 30% above market price.

See:
https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/claymather85/
https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/LazarX/
https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/rwnodgrass/

Many of these buyers are established for a period of time and have had good feedback. So what's their deal, are they scammers or not? Many people have had positive transactions from them so I don't know what to think.
