1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Baikal N70 setup appreciated. on: October 12, 2018, 04:47:34 PM
Hey guys, I've gotten a new power supply for my N70, It's a corsair 500. After plugging in the adapters to the two pcie coords when I turn on the miner nothing happens. I think this is because I need to short the green wire that tells the PSU it's plugged in and connect that to a black wire so it is allowed to fire up? Thanks for your guidance!

3  Economy / Long-term offers / An honest loan request: 0.4 BTC on: September 11, 2018, 03:48:19 AM
Hey everyone! First off I hope you're having a great start to the week. I am a coin founder and developer that's looking to expand our operations for the betterment of our coins community and the Crypto community as a whole. I'm looking for an angel investor that can help with start up money to help me continue to develop services without scraping by in my personal life. Before we go any further please take the time to read our Announcement thread here on BTCT.

These funds will be used to help pay for service hosting fee's, an exchange listing, and expanding our infrastructure. I've already put much into it and have spent my savings on ASIC miners for the initial solar setup, This humble beginning will eventually be turned into a data center hosting mining rigs and web servers to host Crypto related services for all at the most cost effective price I can provide! I have the land to build upon, and a day job to make payments until things take off.

As far as payment, A monthly payment would be best, ensuring I have plenty to live off and you as an investor make a good solid return on your investment. I can use these funds to further the project without being so stressed out about my day to day funds. Also being a developer I can help you with anything you may need developed, if that's something you'd be interested in!

As far as payments I can pay $200 per month at the least but would make larger payments which I more than likely will be able to every month. But if I had a bad month money wise you'd receive the $200 deposit for certain every month on whichever day you decide upon. I can make payments in Bitcoin or PayPal. You can let me know what interest % you'd like to earn from said loan, and we can come to an agreement that helps us both out. I don't mind giving my personal details and don't mind paying a bit of a higher interest as I believe fully it's worth it and my project will grow with its continued development.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / CryptoNote orderbook math on: September 09, 2018, 06:51:31 PM
Hey guys, Looking to see if anyone may be able to chime in with some experience.

I'm working on a small exchange for Bukz, we will be able to trade among several CryptoNote. With CryptoNotes there's variable decimal places for each note. I'm trying to figure the best way of adding and subtracting when doing orderbook transactions.

I am storing each coins balance in atomic units, so 1buz = 100000000. since Bukz uses 8 decimal points I can divide that by 8 and add a precision function to display the current balance as 1.00000000 etc.

Now if another coin uses 9 decimal places, If I add the two atomic units together and then divide them with their respectable decimal units will this math come out correctly? Or is there another way to do this I'm yet to realize? Any help appreciated, good cheer.
5  Economy / Services / Looking for some side work! Programmer, Design, Coin Creation/Modifications + on: September 02, 2018, 05:02:12 PM
Hey guys. I'm Nik the founder of BUKZ. I'm looking to take on any jobs one might have available! I'm building a small solar farm and aquiring ASIC miners, and as you would know, it does take some start up cash to get everything done!

I can setup and modify most software, some of my most recent re-designing of software can be seen at http://minebukz.host.
I can code PHP, MYSQL, or even help you get your own coin started if you like.

If you'd like a hand with anything drop me a message here! Cheers Smiley
6  Economy / Gambling / Creating verifiable rolls with PHP on: September 02, 2018, 03:34:02 AM
Hey guys I'm working on a gambling site for my community members to play around and invest in. Does anyone know how I can create rolls that are verifiable? I've found some old code from the old coindice script but it's not working fomr some reason. Cheers!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Seeking help from more experienced CryptoNote developer on: July 25, 2018, 06:31:00 PM
Our coin BUKZ has been trying to solve for a block and the effort is over 1000%, Is there any cryptonote developers out there that may have more experience then me and can help me solve this problem? We're stuck on a specific block. See here: http://youpool.io/BUZ/ block 37,007. Are we just extremely unlucky at the moment? Thanks guys, We're community driven and this one has me stumped but I know I will get it solved. Looking for a godsend to help us keep things moving sooner than later! <3

📝MISSION STATEMENT

BUKZ provides the solution for an ever evolving decentralized currency powered by renewable energy. Our software keeps your funds and transactions private and secure by design. The central banking system was established hundreds of years ago and has many flaws that we aim to fix. In addition to resolving the centralized banking institute implications, we're working towards lowering the toll Bitcoin mining is taking upon our worlds energy consumption. It's estimated that by the end of 2018 Cryptocurrency mining could be using up to 7.7GW of electricity. That's almost half the worlds energy usage.

BUKZ is a CryptoNote based currency, originally developed in 2014 by a group of anonymous developers working in unison. Since then many advances have been made in the technology and it will continually evolve ensuring optimal efficiency, security, and stability. This software is a perfect fit for our overall vision, it requires very little resources to run. There's specially designed hardware created to mine BUKZ that allows us to run the network using very little power consumption while simultaneously maintaining optimal network efficiency.

Giving us a beautiful foundation to build upon. Our goal is to help our miners power their mining rigs as efficiently as possible with renewable energy. We support and actively study solar, wind, and hydro applications in an attempt to provide useful experience based information for world class setups.

🏦THE FOUNDATION
The BUKZ foundation is actively developing the first data center powered by renewable energy. We aim to host mining rigs, and web servers to provide cost effective green energy to community service providers. It is our goal to have all our nodes, and services running entirely on renewable energy by the end of 2019.

✍️EDUCATION
We will be providing useful information to the community in many ways, such as the logistics to various setups, how-to videos, calculators, and peer to peer communication! We welcome everyone to join our community! Contribute, learn, and evolve! We're all working towards the common goal of establishing an anonymous decentralized currency that's maintained entirely by renewable energy.

🏗️DATACENTER
The Bukz foundation goal is to establish the first solar powered data center providing quality solutions to the Cryptosphere. The data center will offer co-location of mining equipment, web hosting, and we're hashing out a NiceHash.com style solution that would allow buyers to utilize the datacenter's mining equipment to mine any algorithm investors like payable in Bukz.

📦HARDWARE
The foundation will be testing and building solar kits specialized for specific mining setups and selling them at a discount as we develop more capital allowing us to buy at wholesale costs. We will develop these kits in a way that makes it easy for our community to expand their infrastructures as effectively as possible. Fulfilling our goal of having our nodes powered by renewable energy.
