1  Economy / Services / Looking for Whatsminer M20S unlocked firmware on: April 23, 2020, 03:41:48 PM
I am running a mining farm based on Whatminers M20S. We need a custom firmware for the Whatsminer m20s and possibly a partner that will provide support for further ASIC we will decide to use in our operation.

The features we are looking for currently are the following:

-Fan mangement (change rmp speed)
Overclock:
   -Voltage management
   -Frequency management
- Mining management (start/stop)
- Expose values readed by whatsminer tools (power consume, ...)
-API to manage all this requirements

If someone is interested could send me a PM
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BEAM Mining - New Equihash 150/5 Algorithm on: December 30, 2018, 02:33:15 PM
BEAM is one of the two main projects (along with GRIN) that are implementing MimbleWimble to obtain a privacy focus scalable blockchain.
IMHO both of them are very interesting, even though I personally prefer GRIN, and they are waking up old good miners.

I have been able to retrieve some information on the official GitHub page here: https://github.com/BeamMW/beam/wiki/BEAM-Mining
The windows miner which is supposed to do GPU mining seems not to have the GPU mining option. (I didn't spend much time trying)

The main net should start in days, so it's time to warm up our mining rigs.
What are the mining pools available? Which is the best NVidia miner available to the public?

I would like to use this thread to share information related to BEAM mining.

4  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Stock of GPUs/Mobo/PSU (~500) (P104 preferred) on: January 27, 2018, 01:03:12 PM
Dear Miners,

As everybody knows the GPUs are very hard to find these days (at least this is the situation in Europe).
I have been here since a while and we have a few mining operation running and now we are trying to expand, unluckily all the wholesaler I've dealt with before are currently not able to provide me GPUs.

I am also looking for P104 GPUs, but I am also open to other proposals (Nvidia GPUs preferred).
We can handle orders from HK if you ship directly from there.

We are interested in NEW product only and in dealers that are able to handle at least a hundred of pieces.

If you have those capabilities please drop me a PM and I will provide details.

Edit: I am also looking for hardware suppliers that accept crypto payments.
I am looking for h81 and related pieces

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 13 Nvidia GPUs on Windows (h110) on: December 12, 2017, 12:29:38 PM
Hi Guys!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0adcRf1rVCo

I am just here to share this videos where a guy is successfully running 13 1070ti on windows.
In device manager he has 13 GPUs recognized and he is mining on claymore at 26.5Mhash for each GPU.

Has someone archived the same result?
I have been able to get only 8 cards running.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Profitability history by algorithm on: September 14, 2017, 07:58:46 AM
Hi Guys!

I am mining since a few years and I would like to make some considerations about how profitability changed.
I have some rough data that I gathered myself, but nothing very accurate or frequent/constant enough.

Does someone know a service that provides daily profit for a determined hash rate on algorithms or coins?

Something like whattomine but for every day in a time period.

I firstly would like to make some graphs like this:

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Nvidia configuration optimisation (Needy ex-AMD guy here) on: July 11, 2017, 10:11:41 AM
Hi Everyone!

Since I've started mining I've always been an AMD guy, I'm used to deal with BIOS customisazions for undervolting, overcloking and editing timings.

In the last few months I've built a few Nvidia rigs, specifically using gtx 1070 and I've seen a few topics about overclocking and reducing power limit.
Right now I am simply using MSI afterburner to overclock a little bit and It seems what with power limit around 80% I'm using the best Hashrate/Watt ratio.

Are there any other tricks to squeeze the last bit of performance out of those GPUs?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Claymore miners API on: May 12, 2017, 08:46:38 AM
Hi Guys.

In a couple weeks I will have some free time and I would like to give my first contribution to the mining community.
I would like to develop and opensource a module able to monitor multiple claymore miner, show their stats and send telegram notifications when needed.

I'm aware that there are many of these software around, but at best of my knowledge they are not opensource.

Finally my real question:
Does anyone have a documentation of Claymore miner API?
I would like to re invent the wheel and spend time sniffing them if someone did that yet.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Eth->Pascal->Eth AMD driver KO on: January 28, 2017, 10:58:08 AM
Hi Everyone!
As many of you I was mining ETH with claymore miner 9.4, then I switched to the new most profit coin Pascal.
Since this night it's quite unprofitable, so I would like go back to ETH, but I can't.

As happened to a lot of people during ZEC/ETH period, when I switched back to ETH claymore miner get's stuck almost immediately.

I managed to solve the problem with a DDU driver uninstall and re-install, but that's damn boring since I have to do it manually.

Someone has a deep insight about what's happening?
Why the driver should be modified after mining?

12  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Minare scryptcoin conviene ? on: January 21, 2014, 02:34:43 PM
- Gigabyte AMD FM2+ A88X Triple monitor ;
- 4GB RAM ddr3 1333MHz
- Raidmax 850W 80 Plus Gold ATX12V/ESP12V
- AMD A4-5300 APU A 3.4GHz
- 2X ( Gigabyte R9 290 OC BF44096MB GDDR5, 5000/1040MHz  )

email : luca_ambro94@hotmail.it

Grazie mille !
