3  Other / Off-topic / Are Spoetnik and Codishmumu the same person? on: November 02, 2015, 06:53:28 PM
Ever since codishmumu was banned, Spoetnik has taken over in the crappy threads department. Could they be the same?
4  Other / Off-topic / Secure email providers. Scryptmail, Protonmail, and Tutanota. on: June 23, 2015, 11:43:58 PM
Scryptmail seems to be the best of the three according to their comparison on the login page. These services are needed and something we should consider using.

5  Economy / Service Discussion / Blockchain.info strange behavior on: February 06, 2015, 03:17:41 AM
Went to check my wallet at blockchain.info earlier and it was trying to redirect me to an onion address. There was also this sign:

Quote
Please use our new onion link https://blockchainbdgpzk.onion/

I have not accessed blockchain for some time and was a little surprised. I did NOT try to login via tor at that addy.

Now everything is back to normal with no redirect to the onion address and I see no mention of the onion address.

Hacked or what? Disturbing.

6  Other / Off-topic / News Flash! Spoetnik goes into hiding. on: November 01, 2014, 07:03:24 AM
Seeing that Spoetnik deletes my posts in his threads, thought I would start my own. Unmoderated.

Taken from Poloniex troll box:

"Spoetnik: i'll be offline soon enough you all Wink
Spoetnik: i have said for 2/3 months have to move soon.. so i will have no internet i think for a while (not sure how long)"

Is our Crypto-Hero crumbling under the pressure?

Come on Spoetnik don't give up the good fight. I'm sure we can get a donation address together to help you out with the legal fees.

edit:

Since posting this Spoetnik has had a change of heart (see post 49).
He is NOT running away and will ( I assume) meet further challenges head on.
Atta boy Spoetnik!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is real transparency coming to the altcoin scene? on: July 31, 2014, 11:50:49 PM
Mintcoin announced their new team. http://mintcoin.cc/official-mintcoin-team/

Looks like real names and real people behind a coin.

Bravo Mintcoin!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is there an Anonymous coin right now? I don't mean promises, testing, or non-gui on: June 18, 2014, 07:21:43 PM
It seems coins are arriving everyday advertising anonymity.

Some are promises. Some are in testing. Some are command line. Some are only for windows.

Is there a true anonymous coin now with gui for linux, mac, and windows?
