1  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitmain extends warranty period on all new orders on: November 09, 2020, 11:43:33 AM
Bitmain has finally decided to extended their warranty period from 180 days (6 months) to 360 days (12 months).

Since I've been buying from Bitmain only as far back as 2016, I am not sure what their warranty period was before that time. But ever since I bought my first Antminer S9 12T back in the days, warranty was always 6 months which was unusual for me and made me really scared of their quality. At that time, I started buying new units and then selling them after 5 months of use.

Later when I decided that I should have a stable mining farm (release of S17 Pro and later S17+) I found out the hard way how bad those units are. And since then I haven't order anything from them.

This might change my mind as 12 month warranty has a bit of impact when you order new units compared to 6 months, even though I'd like them to have at least 18 or 24 months warranty (which is unlikely to happen), this is a good step in the right direction after all the bad things they have done in previous few years.

Quote from sale of Antminer S19Pro from their official website:
1. A 365-day warranty is provided starting from the shipping date. To avail this warranty a repair ticket must be generated by the customer on Bitmain's website. Overclocking the miner will void the warranty immediately.

This is related to all new Bitmain Antminers. Therefore, instead of writing about this in every thread which is related to their new/old hardware releases, I decided to open a new thread. However, if mods decide this is not the place for it, feel free to move it.
2  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Antminer S17 Pro / S17e / S17+ / Z11 / Z15 on: September 19, 2020, 01:38:42 AM
In addition to miners from subject/title, I am considering buying S19 / S19 Pro if the price is good.

Buying multiple units - amount depends on price.

I prefer machines that are in Europe.

ONLY DOING PURCHASE VIA ESCROW.
Prefer Phil if he accepts to escrow the deal.

Please send me offers via PMs.
3  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / "Bitmain shop is under maintenance." - Bitmain bankrupt or possible return? on: August 06, 2020, 02:47:05 PM
Bitmain shop on both English and Chinese website has been "under maintenance" for couple of hours now.

There is no miners on page nor any accessories (like control boards/cables/psus/etc).

It's been few months since Bitmain last sold anything afaik and this can mean two (maybe three) thing:

1. They are coming back hard to crush the competition again and sell gear with better prices than anyone.

2. They are going bankrupt and are soon to close websites.

2a. They are doing this to avoid looking bad with no units for sale for months and will now open new website/company which will become NEW Bitmain.

4  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Bitmain's new payment option? Matrixport on: March 06, 2020, 03:31:16 AM
Bitmain has added a new option of payment (I am not sure if some people had it previously, but for me it is new as it's the first time I see it and just to note, I am from Serbia), Matrixport.

I will be putting screenshots (tomorrow) from an order where I chose Matrixport as an payment option.

*I am not sure if moderators will move this thread, but I opened it here because it is highly related to all people who are buying Antminers from Bitmain's official website.*
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain Introduces the S19 and S19 Pro on: February 27, 2020, 07:02:45 AM
Not much info has been given, but we know that speed is much better than S17 Pro and S17+ while power usage is close to them. However 29.5±%5 J/TH is insane!

3.25 kW for 110TH/s is going to destroy S9's.

Also, as I said it a few times on forum (and not that anyone is counting, but I was right!) they announced new miners soon after most coupons expired. There are a few coupons that should expire on February 29th, so 1st March would be a logical release date for new miners. And first batch will likely be shipped during May.

6  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Bitmain Antminer Z11 on: January 31, 2020, 06:45:35 PM
Looking to buy a few Z11 (used or unboxed). Preferably in Europe, but rest of the world is okay too as long as you can provide estimate for shipping to Serbia.

I am willing to use confirmed escrow on BTCtalk but I have my favourites.

Please send me offers in PM.

Payment possible in BTC or ETH.
7  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Antminer Z11 on: October 09, 2019, 04:26:58 PM
Looking for one or two Antminer Z11's.
I am located in Serbia and would prefer someone who is selling in Europe, however if seller is covering shipping I could deal with anyone from anywhere.

I am only doing deals WITH confirmed escrows from Bitcointalk.

Please send offers to PM!
