Hello, i just got my 7870 Sapphire 1 Ghz Eddition today and overclocked it to 1.1 Ghz (i think it could easy do 1.2 ghz or even 1.3 ghz)

im using 12.3 drivers and 2.6 SDK (for some reason i have no 100% cpu bug, (i use an 5850 and the new 7870).

and right now with " -v -w256 -f0 " in guiminer i get 403 Mhash, and my p2p is showing the increase in speed too!

anyone else can confirm this performance?

Hello, i want to know if anybody knows if this is possible and how its done.
Would be perfect to see the Mhash and the temp's on the same display (i know that temps are possible already).

I know of some program, i think it was called LCD studio where you can creat apps, but i dont know how you get the infos about the mhash and stuff like that...

Hello, is it possible to let gpu1 Handle desktop , movies / games and having a background mining with like aggression=4 and the other gpu (these are 2 cards) Going 100% for mining with high aggression?

so ive read alot and saw the new settings of Affinity to cores.
But my question is, is there a way to get it down to these below 10% cpu loads?

well here it goes, i added to my System another MSI 5850 Twin Frozr II.

My first was runing mostly at 920 core mhz and 500 mhz mem @ 1.26 mV.

So, when i got the new one, im kinda lost at how to do what i want.

I want my first to keep runing like that, and my second should be for mining only, runing at 980 mhz core / 330 mhz mem @ 1.3 mV. How am i able to do that?

and another thing, when i was browsing afterburner settings i found this :

what is this? do my cards run at different mV's?

and, when i let them use stock settings and wanted to start up guiminer, my pc restarted, i didnt made any driver changed up to this point.

I plan to OC the new card to its stable limits for mining, I got mine to pump out 400 mhash/s stable for mining only. (1005 Core and 335 Mem @ 1.299 mV)
And 2 things i need to know aswell :
Do i need to connect the new card with crossfire bridge to my current card for it to work?
Will i have to flash the Rates directly into the BIOS for the new card? Becouse i cant see an option wich lets me choose what gpu to oc.

So i was wondering myself if this can be done.
I started mining a while ago and dont have a second rig yet for constant mining. My Goals are:

2 Modes:
Multimedia mode: Mining in the background and gaming / watching vids in the meantime.
Mining mode: gpu clocks at max (for me 1005) ,gpu mem clocks lowest (225) and CPU to forced idle mode (like this CCC option where you have 3 steps for cpu performance, 800, 2800 and 3200 for me there)

I want to have like a file on my desktop which i open to switch modes.

Any ideas how i can realize that?
