1  Other / Meta / HOW CAN A MEMBER GAIN MERIT FROM THIS FORUM on: February 06, 2019, 12:48:14 PM
I remember those good old days when you can gain merit from this forum by making 30 posts as a newbie.
I think the merit system was abused and there was correction.
Everyone has to put in effort to contributing to this awesome forum.

My question is, what kind of post can one make to earn these merit? I know i have made some little effort but yet to gain it.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: February 01, 2019, 12:02:32 PM
What is KYC? It means knowing your customer. In KYC some requirements are required such as: Full Name, Residence address, Citizenship, Birth date, Photo of government issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, ID card),
Social Security number or Tax Identification, Bank Statement, Utility Bill, Photo of bank card .

I honestly think kyc should be stopped for bounty hunters, reason being that we are not buying the token of the project ,rather we are rendering services  to create awareness for the project. Which ought to be paid for.

In another view, if a bounty hunter has to go through KYC ,then it should be at the start of the bounty, during registration, if accepted or passed, then you go on with the bounty.

I did a bounty which i passed, and earned some amount of the token, but i failed kyc and my effort was gone just like that, after rendering my services to them by promoting the project. I got really pained.

This is just an example of what is happening.

What do you all really think about kyc for bounty hunters?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Some Fundamental Insight For Newbies In The Forum on: January 23, 2019, 09:58:52 PM
Hi, today, i would be taking about two different words that means almost the same thing but not the same, At first, i also didn't understand what they actually meant, but from the little i have learnt so far, i felt i should share also to keep the forum newbies going with understanding.

Today we would be looking at AIRDROP & BOUNTY.
These two have really confused a lot of people(newbies).
Often times in groups, you would see them asking to know the difference.

The similarity is that in both Airdrop and Bounty , You get rewarded with the token of the project involved.

Let's see the difference

AIRDROP: In Airdrop , You virtually do little or no task, little here i mean, you might be asked to follow the project involved by joining their social media platforms such as Twitter, Telegram, Linkedin Page, Reddit, Facebook and so on, after which you will have to claim the token by adding your wallet address. This is very less stressful but reward is very little in most cases.

For Airdrop as a newbie, what you would be needing to start Airdrop which is the stepping stone to get higher include:
Telegram Account: You join the project group to get updates and also to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the project, you could also ask questions about the project in the chat group.

Twitter: Here You share their post by retweeting their post to create awereness.

Facebook : here your profile has to be public, you also like and follow and share their post. Same goes for reddit, linkedin and so on.

BOUNTY: This is where the work lies, infact, bounty hunters render services and get rewarded for it. In Bounty, we have what is called campaigns, this is more like the segment of tasks.

Here we have various tasks which include
1. Signature Campaign: In this campaign, One is expected to wear what is called the signature depending on your rank in the forum. This is to help advertise the project.

2. Twitter Campaign: You make the project known by doing their task weekly by tweeting and sharing good things about the project.

3. Facebook: This is similar to twitter task, it has to also be about sharing them in a good light, weekly also.

The same goes for Reddit, Linkedin, Translator  and Content campaign.

Note also that unlike Airdrop that you can just fill forms and follow their handle in few minutes, for bounty it has to be weekly, and some project take as long as one month to four months to come to an end.

In bounty, you are paid according to the amount of work you put in at the end of the project.

The Reward is usually high unlike airdrop which is very small.

Know also that in bounty, you are not mandated to do all the campaigns, it is your choice and strength that determines the campaign you choose.

It is important to note that in every campaign you are doing, you need to join their telegram group.

I hope this few lines would really be helpful to newbies in this great forum.
